New Scenes Reveal Pokemon Black &White details
Sunday, Sep 05, 2010 @ 03:45 PM By: LionHeart E-mail Me RSS Feed
Some new scenes from commercials that aired in Japan have revealed some new details about the upcoming pokemon game editions. The most obvious of which are pseudo-3D style graphics that add depth and contour to the games.

In one of the commercials it is also stated that there will be over 100 new pokemon.

A surprise that was spotted in the videos is the appearance of a character named Ivy, whom was originally thought to be anime exclusive, which may mean a special role for her (gym leader maybe?).

Combo attacks revealed in Pokemon Black & White
Wednesday, Sep 01, 2010 @ 12:00 AM By: LionHeart E-mail Me RSS Feed
A CoroCoro, CoroCoro Special, which was released in Japan on Monday (Aug.30th), revealed that new combination attacks can be used in double or triple battles in Black and White.

These new attacks are triggered when you use two or more specific attacks in a specific order, which then produces a new effect. The leaked scan revealed three new attacks that can produce these combos: Fire Oath, Water Oath, and Grass Oath.

A few examples are: using Grass Oath followed by Fire Oath will create a field of fire which damages your opponents; If you combine Fire Oath and Water Oath it will produce steam which then forms a rainbow that strengthens the secondary effects of your teammates attacks; and if you combine Water Oath with Grass Oath a wetland will be created which lowers your enemies speed.

The extent of this new combo feature is unknown, but we’ll find that out when the games are released in a few weeks.

Refresh for the new Pokemon Anime
Friday, Aug 27, 2010 @ 04:14 PM By: LionHeart E-mail Me RSS Feed

The new pokemon anime has been decidedly refreshed, evidenced by a new preview of “Best Wishes”, and it will premier on September 23rd on TV Tokyo. One of the big changes is in the art style of the show, one of the most notable differences is the size of the characters eyes, not only that but the show also promises to be much faster paced then the old shows. Another large change is that Brock will be leaving the anime along with Dawn, both of whom will depart in separate episodes.

The new replacements are Dento (brocks replacement) a grass type gym leader, and Iris (dawns replacement) who’s pokemon companion will be Kibago. All in all the show seems to be getting a welcome refreshment. For more details hit up the link here.
