I also watch Helsing, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell has been a long-time favorite.

Someone suggested I watch Afro Samurai - I don't know if that would be any good though, I always lean towards more action-sci-fi based themes.

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex seems good too, I haven't watched enough episodes to rate the series yet. It was recently on netflix instant watch and looked interesting so I started watching it.

Speaking of air bender - haven't seen the blockbuster movie yet but man have I heard some (nasty) bad reviews.

I hear that the concept for Nolan's "Inception" is strikingly similar to a particular anime I have not yet watched before. Forget the name, but not sure if you know what I'm talking about.
