Mew or Arceus? Who is the actual Original One?

Well, back in the 1st generation, we all knew Mew was believed to be the ancestor of Pokemon, as it was able to learn each and every TM/HM, and most of the moves.
Now that the 4th generation is out, Arceus is described as such:

"It is said to have emerged from an egg in a place where there was nothing, then shaped the world."

"It is told in mythology that this Pokemon was born before the universe even existed."

"It is described in mythologyas the Pokemon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms."


So, which one do you think is the actual "Original One"?

I agreed with those theories in another forums:

1. Arceus's species is the "Alpha Pokemon". Alpha Pokemon = First Pokemon = Original One.

Arceus is based on the creation of God and Mew is related to the evolution of humans.

So I am 95% sure Arceus is the Original One.

My personal opinion on whom do I like more:

I like Arceus slightly more for the following reasons:

Arceus looks cooler.
It has a better ability: Multitype (Mew is forever Psychic, meaning it is weak to Bug, Dark, and Ghost)
Better Moveset, not counting TMs.
Better stats.

However, I do like Mew too; Mew is original, looks cute, can learn each and every TM/HM, and inevitably plays a part of Pokemon history, someway or the other, in my opinion.

Arceus is the origin...It created the pokemon universe by creating Dialga (Time), Palkia (Space) and Giratina (The distortion). These three shaped the universe and thus the legendaries started to form and created the Earth, etc. Among all of these pokemon, Mew was created, and it was able to use its power to create other pokemon.

That's what I think, and I prefer ARCEUS! =)

I'd say Arceus is the Original One. It simply created Mew and included its own DNA as well. So, Mew can, in fact, hold the DNA of every Pokemon, including the Pok?god.
