Forum Updates (6/28/09)
Various forum changes and updates have been made recently. I figured it would be good to outline them for people wondering about different changes.
Forum Forum Organization Changes - The "Other Anime" forum, under "Creativity Corner" has been changed to match all other forms of art for any subject matter, not just anime, this including poems, stories, graphics, music, and more. Also, the three subforums here, "Role Plays", "Fan Fictions", and "Artwork", have all been merged into this one forum, meaning there are no longer any subforums here. Forum Organization Changes - The news archive has been merged into its parent forum, "Pokemon News", meaning there will no longer be an archive, and all Pokemon news will be in one place. Attachments - Various rarely used attachments have been removed so that the existing list of attachments can be easier to understand and uploading attachments will also be slightly faster. Arcade Categories - All games have now been categorized, to make it easier to find games. Additional Games - As was already mentioned, three new games, "Donkey Kong", "Pac Man", and "Mrs. Pac Man" have been added, though you will need 200 posts to play any of these games. Zero-Scores Removed - Existing scores measuring zero have been removed. IRC Updated - The IRC content has been removed, and will soon be reimplemted with newer information. This is still being handled.

I actually like the idea of a sixth generation Pokemon Emerald remix; few people think of the possibilities that one game has in full, colorful, barely pixaleted 3-D (in other words, think of a Play Station 2 or Xbox Original). The existing 3D we have with the DS is good, but the next generation of handheld consoles should give much more detail to the game - imagine being able to change your perspective to look into the sky while the stormcloud is slowly stretching across the region once Kyogre and Groudon have both been awoken. Imagine seeing the sky tower, and a green tail, to the left, and mirages to the right. For that matter, think of Mirage Island! There are so many other moments for which we could experience in perspective-3D Pokemon Emerald; the battle frontier is one example, but just seeing the sun rise and set as the time passes in Dewford city would be awesome. Of course, my dreams may be more than one generation away; are there any Wii games that even would make this real?
