It's renamed I think. It's new name is Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. I'm not sure though. I'm expecting it to have a longer storyline than the original Pokemon Ranger. I'm also expecting another D/P Pokemon transfer. I heard there will be three more. I also heard that you can choose a partner pokemon. There are 17 to choose from. Each representing a type. The choices are:
Pachirisu (Electric)
Munchlax (Normal)
Starly (Flying)
Turtwig (Grass)
Chimchar (Fire)
Piplup (Water)
Misdreavus (Ghost)
Snover (Ice)
Mime Jr (Psychic)
Gible (Dragon)
Croagunk (Poison)
Kricketot (Bug)
Sneasel (Darkness)
Cranidos (Rock)
Shieldon (Steel)
Machop (Fighting)
Hippopotas (Ground)
I'm thinking that the region will be called Almia for an obvious reason.
I did some research and found out more info. Here are some of the places in the game:
Chikore Village
Vien Town: The Ranger School is located here so this might be the starting point
Vien Forest
Pueru Town
Boil Land
Haruba Desert
There are side quests, too. There will also be a HP Bar for Pokemon. Instead of a counter for how many loops you need to make to capture the Pokemon, it shows a HP Bar. You can lift the stylus and take a breather without messing up your game. The thing is that the Pokemon are going to take more loops to capture. There's also going to be Multiplayer. It's going to be released November 10th, 2008 in the US. You can also ride Pokemon like Dodrio, Mantine, and Empoleon. There are a few downloadable missions. Also, there are three pokemon that you can, like Manaphy, send to Diamond or Pearl. There are still lot's of stuff in the game that haven't been revealed yet. If I get any news, I'll post it here. Also, here are some pictures:

The cover.

The heroes.

The heroes with a new look.

The hero on a Mantine.

Empoleon.

This is what it would look like when you're capturing a pokemon. You can see the HP Bar under the Glameow.
