Okay, here is where people can discuss various news or elements regarding Platinum. Have anything to say? Say it!

Uh.... yeah, personally, I think that the new Giratina form looks kinda ridiculous. I think it would have been better to keep it consistent as a stationary legendary like Dialga and Palkia were, you know, rather than floating.

But that's just one minor thing. Overall, I'm looking forward to getting this game, assuming it is released in the US within the next year. I'm excited to see the new features, whatever they'll be. One thing I've always wanted to do was to re-battle the criminal team just for fun, but they're always gone forever once you've finished the last thing you need to do with them.

Oh, and bring, the freaking item PC back! I'm sick of having a bag with so many mediocre items which I can't throw out because I may need them sometime, and giving them to random pokemon in my PC! Gaaaaah!

WHOA! They took out the item PC?! I never noticed that, but WTF!! I actually use that sometimes! D:<

Anyway, I can't wait for Platinum, and not just because I lost my Diamond. ;D I look forward to the Shaymin Sky Forme, although the fake one looks better in my opinion. The real one doesn't even resemble Shaymin at all. D:<

The game in itself is sure to be an improvement, like Crystal to Silver and Gold and Emerald to Ruby and Sapphire. How much better was Crystal than Silver? Exponentially, that's how much. And Emerald was much better that Ruby. So I'm really looking forward to Platinum for those reasons as well.

Something I'm personally wondering.....

In Yellow, you're able to get all the starters.
In Crystal, you're able to get both of the Legendary birds.
In Emerald, you're able to get both of the colossal Pokémon.

So, in Platinum, will you be able to get Dialga and Palkia??? It's a question that's bothering me big time... Makes ya wonder.

I'm thinking that Platinum will more more similar to Emerald for a few reasons, though mainly the screenshot where all three legendary beasts appear. If this hold true, you will be able to capture all three pokemon. If I were to take it farther, you would also be able to catch gratina before the elite four, but would have to catch the other legendaries with, just taking a guess, something like an item that you would place back at the sky pilliar.

So, will see how close I am.

Anyway, one thing I really want to see is an improved trading system where you can offer something like this:

Level 40 Pikachu + Level 5 Chikoirta + $200,000 + Max Revive = Level 70+ Dialga

So you can offer Money, Items, and Pokemon in Exchange for Pokemon. I mean, you would be much more likely to get what you want but for none to much of a cost.

I second this greatly. I mean, yeah they have like eight pocket, but some items you pick up, you just don't need, like those Plates, and stat items like Magnet or Nevermeltice.

Well, throw them away... Or you could always move them to the bottom the bad. Either way I like how it is now.

Here's what'll happen if you do that:

Me: Hm, this Rose Incense looks pretty useless, I'm gonna sell it/throw it out.
(goes on the internet)
Me: Woah, there's an event to get Arceus tomorrow? Oh, dang, I can't go, I've got that... thing... I have to do! But wait, my trustworthy online friend is going!
(goes onto some forum)
Me: Hey Dude, are you going to the Arceus event? Could you trade it to me so I can have it in my pokedex?
Dude: Uh, sure thing man, but you need to trade me a Rose Incense for it.
Me: What!!!! Blasphemy! Why did I get rid of that thing! I'll never get an Arceus now!

lol, well, as long as you still have unlimited space in your bag it would be better, though I still want the unlimited bag space element.

Or you could do what i do with the junk items: sell 'em, the plates go for $500 each; not bad if i do say so myself.

Yeah, i also think they need to bring back the Item PC when Platinum comes out.
