Default Should G/S/C be able to trade with R/S/E/LG/FR

Do you think that the game developers should have been able to make it possible for G/S/C to trade with R/S/E, as it would allow you to trade pokemon from any game to another, like R/B/Y to G/S/C if you traded through enough games? And how far do you think they should have gone? For instance, should you have only been able to from G/S/C to R/S/E or should it have been two way? If it were two way do you think they should have spent the extra time to put blocks on moves and Pokemon only in the third generation from going to the second?

Personally, I think it would have been great for them to implement this. I think it should have been two-way, but there would have been no need to put blocks, as its not that complicated, and if your unsure, just don't do it.

ZamFights Beta should come around Christmas, now.

Spoiler Alert:  ZamFights Progress

Summary

ZamFights, a Pokemon Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, developed by Pokezam's Webmaster Freezewarp, continues its development into Alpha 7, where you can trade Pokemon with a global trade station like feature and battle other trainers. Several bugs were also fixed.

Alpha 9, now in development, will feature numerous events and locations to go to, that is up to Fuschia. It will also feature the new, interactive map, numerous minor features, and an altered look.

Alpha 9 should come around Thanksgiving, and Alpha 10, or the public Beta, should come around Christmas.

Alpha 8 Preview

I actually like the idea of a sixth generation Pokemon Emerald remix; few people think of the possibilities that one game has in full, colorful, barely pixaleted 3-D (in other words, think of a Play Station 2 or Xbox Original). The existing 3D we have with the DS is good, but the next generation of handheld consoles should give much more detail to the game - imagine being able to change your perspective to look into the sky while the stormcloud is slowly stretching across the region once Kyogre and Groudon have both been awoken. Imagine seeing the sky tower, and a green tail, to the left, and mirages to the right. For that matter, think of Mirage Island!

There are so many other moments for which we could experience in perspective-3D Pokemon Emerald; the battle frontier is one example, but just seeing the sun rise and set as the time passes in Dewford city would be awesome. Of course, my dreams may be more than one generation away; are there any Wii games that even would make this real?

It certainly would have been a great idea to implement that although by the same token, there was kind of a large gap between the release of Crystal the release of Ruby/Sapphire in America, and an even bigger gap between Crystal and Fire Red/Leaf Green. (I use Crystal as the example since it was the last game released in Johto series).

They are, in my opinion, setting up a good change now with Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Fire Red/Leaf Green being able to trade with Diamond and Pearl which I assume will be able to trade with the next generation of systems and so forth.

I definitely agree with you that they sort of missed the boat with not being able to trade from the first and second generations to the third.

GSC were on a far different system from RSE and beyond. Now, if they made a remake of Gold and Silver, well...We'd all be happy.

This is a hard question, but whenever someone talks about something remote to a G/S/C remake, mainly for trading, they fall back on the GameCube games. But little do they know that not everyone who plays the main Pokemon games has access to Colosseum or XD... so yes. G/S/C should be able to trade with the others, mainly for the starters and Johto Legendaries.

I think Gold, Silver and Crystal should be able to trade with Fire Red and Leaf Green. Because I want an Espeon in my Fire Red
