Two new skins - We're breaking away from Pokemon
Well, they aren't the skins of the month, that one I think will be up tomorrow actually, but for now we've got two new Harry Potter skins both provided by Akai. The second isn't that good, because when I improvised on that one, I didn't do as good as I did on the first one. Basically, I changed them a bit so the color would match the background, but I did pretty bad on the second. The first is quite good though.

These will both be finalized tomorrow, so their no longer "Under Construction" and aren't child styles of Snowy Nights. One major issue that will repel some, and attract others is the font. So keep in mind that if you don't like it, some people will. Also, akai is now forum staff, due to the skins she is providing. Please welcome her with open arms.

I actually like the idea of a sixth generation Pokemon Emerald remix; few people think of the possibilities that one game has in full, colorful, barely pixaleted 3-D (in other words, think of a Play Station 2 or Xbox Original). The existing 3D we have with the DS is good, but the next generation of handheld consoles should give much more detail to the game - imagine being able to change your perspective to look into the sky while the stormcloud is slowly stretching across the region once Kyogre and Groudon have both been awoken. Imagine seeing the sky tower, and a green tail, to the left, and mirages to the right. For that matter, think of Mirage Island! There are so many other moments for which we could experience in perspective-3D Pokemon Emerald; the battle frontier is one example, but just seeing the sun rise and set as the time passes in Dewford city would be awesome. Of course, my dreams may be more than one generation away; are there any Wii games that even would make this real? |

Speaking of the new skins, with each, I do plan on releasing a few special graphics. They can be either PokePets, or Banners, or even special sprites. And since ShinyRaichu took my Hogwarts away from me (j/k) I might as well provide the goodies.
Featured PokePets (Snape, Dumbledore, and Draco)    The Poke-Hogwarts Mascots  Luxray is a lion ; Pidgeot will have to play an eagel for a while ; Linoone is the closest thing to a badger ; and Arbok won for the Slytherin snake. I also have a banner, but it's crappy... truely, truely crappy. I will post it if you want to see it. |

I can't read anything on the two skins. Dx It's really cool, but you could fix up that part.
Aww. Linoone needs to be a better badger, lol (Hufflepuff person). |

I like the first one, but the second one is a little off, in my opinion. The orange doesn't mix so well with the blue I think. But I do like the first.. Maybe if you make it a little darker it would be easier to read (the second).
By the way, Congrats Akai.
