Episode Guide Writers
Its Blaziken here. I know I've asked this a lot already but not one person has volunteered. Pokezam is in need of episode guide writers. I'll be rarely writing a guide up since I'm busy. We don't have anybody else to write episode guides up. Please, Pokezam is in need of somebody to write episode guides. If you want to volunteer, you can e-mail me or send me a message on the Forums or simply post something here to tell me. If you want to write a guide up, you must follow the following rules or you'll be given a warning. Consistant offenders will be fired instantly:
1. Make sure you use good spelling and grammar, near perfect
2. No racial or religous comments
3. No swearing or even cursing (has to be suited for all ages)
4. No sexual mentionings
5. Make sure your work is clear
6. You have to every month at least do 3 episode guides
7. MAKE SURE THE WORK IS YOURS AND YOURS ONLY! NO PLAYGURISING!
If you are interested in the posistion, please tell me and also include a episode guide that you have writen. Thanks for your time everybody!

I'd like to do this, depending on which episode I'd have to start at though... xDD I don't remember all the details but I suppose I can come up with a summary of some sorts, especially for the Japanese D/P episodes as that's the ones I watch. However, I don't know how many I'd be able to do, I suppose I can manage a couple a month but school's tedious work. Hehe+
Those rules um. seem a bit harsh.

Its good that somebody is interested. Any episode guide is fine but just make sure you check which one you're doing since I don't want you to waste your time doing an episode guide that has already been done. Please send me an episode guide you did so that I can see what your work is like. Thanks

Yeah okay. I'll only be able to do it in the weekends though. School work piles up on me quite a lot.
Oh, and I haven't actually written one before, but I'll try one and I guess we'll see how it sounds.

I'm not surprised. It's called the Little Red Hen syndrome. Everyone wants the bread at the end, but they don't want to do the work that's involved. Blaziken, don't think you're out of the woods yet. I've found that 80% of staff members who promise to do something never actually do it. So the chances are Flavaquil won't ever write an episode guide or will only write one and we'll never hear from them again. Flavaquil, please prove me wrong! If you keep sending episode guides in like Blaziken I'll have confidence in you, but I haven't received anything from you yet.

I'd help write guides but there doesn't seem to be anyway here while I'm on vacation where I can watch the actual episode. And the episodes that were on while I was still in America, it was still in a few of the starting episodes. I think the last one I saw was Getting Twiggy with it. I could try to do it when I get back in a few weeks though. I have time to do it on my hands.
In other stuff, 'little red hen syndrome'??? Who thought up of that name O_o

D/P 004: Dawn of a New Era.
Starting the episode, we find Dawn with Piplup facing yet another Buneary in the hopes of catching it. Ash tells Dawn that it’s time to throw the Pokeball and Dawn readies the Pokeball in her hand and prepares to throw. Ash then shouts out reminding Dawn that the Pokeball has to be “bigger” first before catching a Pokemon. Dawn struggles, juggling the Pokeball in her hands as Ash looks on impatiently. After enlarging the Pokeball, Dawn throws it but only to have it come off at the wrong angle hitting Ash in the head. Ash collapses as Dawn begins to apologise.
Ash, obviously unimpressed, begins to argue with Dawn about her beginner methods. Piplup then notices Buneary getting away and tries alerting Dawn but it’s too late. Dawn puts the blame on Ash for letting Buneary get away while Ash argues back saying Dawn was too slow. Brock and Pikachu however, look on uncertain how to break up the argument.
A bit later, we see the gang walking down the road as Ash and Dawn continue to bicker over not catching Buneary. This time Brock intervenes and stops the argument, but just as he does a small grass Pokemon appears. Budew walks towards them and as they wonder aloud where this Pokemon came from, the reply is given by a person sitting in the shadows under the tree nearby.
He introduces himself as the Pokemon Bard, Nando. Then, Dawn asks Nando for a Pokemon battle in order to prove to Ash how strong she is. Ash, unconvinced, reminds Dawn that this will be her first battle. She shrugs him off, saying there’s nothing to worry about. Nando then asks if she plans to enter the Sinnoh League but she explains saying that she wants to win the Grand Festival and become the top Coordinator.
Hiding behind a bush is Team Rocket, who overheard the conversation. Having heard Dawn mention contests, Jessie seems focused and determined to win the ribbon for the next contest.
Meanwhile, Dawn and Nando are ready to face off. Dawn releases Piplup and thinks of type advantages as she calls her first attack, Peck. Nando looks on calmly and tells Budew to dodge as Piplup nears. Having dodged and jumped in midair, Nando tells Budew to use Bullet Seed. Piplup dodges and attacks back with Bubblebeam at Dawn’s order.
Dawn appears confident but Budew lands back softly after being hit, appearing unharmed. Nando orders a SolarBeam and as Budew charges up, Dawn takes the opportunity to attack, telling Piplup to use Peck. But it’s too late as Budew unleashes Solar Beam, smashing Piplup with a direct hit.
Dawn wonders how they managed Solar Beam so quickly and Brock explains that since Sunny Day was in effect, the attack didn’t take as long to charge. Nando is impressed by Dawn’s first efforts in battling. Dawn thanks him and Nando then smiles and leaves bidding them farewell.
Jessie looks on pleased, saying that Dawn would be no match for her in a battle.
Later on, Dawn is still unhappy at the day’s events. Not having caught a Pokemon, nor winning her first battle, she’s feeling a little down. She is cheered up however by the prospect of a Pokemon Center nearby having a bed and real food. Brock sends out Bonsly and tells it that they’re going to visit Nurse Joy. Having never seen one before, Dawn checks Bonsly out on her Pokedex. Ash asks where Brock’s other Pokemon are and he explains saying he left them back at the Pewter City Gym. Ash explains to Dawn that Brock was the Gym Leader back at Pewter City much to her amazement.
Arriving at the Pokemon Center, Dawn is surprised to see Nurse Joy “again”, unknowing that there are so many Nurse Joys. Brock then shows Dawn an album of Nurse Joy photos and she looks confused by the prospect of that many Nurse Joys. Dawn then calls her mother, and she tells Ash and Brock to take care of her daughter. When the call is over, Nurse Joy tells Ash that he can apply for the Sinnoh League at this Pokemon Center.
Nurse Joy sets it all up for him and then dawn asks whether she can enter for contests here too. Nurse Joy explains that she’ll have to go to a Contest Hall for a Contest Pass first. At that point three trainers walk in, each with a starter Pokemon. Chimchar, Turtwig and Prinplup.
Nando then walks in as well, and greets Dawn. Nurse Joy hands Nando his Budew back and then says goodbye again. Nurse Joy explains that Nando is pondering which path to follow, either going for Gym battles or as a Co-ordinator.
Ash says that the choice is obvious: Budew is a strong Pokemon that would be great in Gym Battles. Dawn disagrees however, and says Nando knew how to show off his Budew. The two then argue over which and then run out together chasing after Nando.
Unable to find Nando, even with Starly searching, Ash says that they’d have to camp outside as it’s too late to return to the Pokemon Center. James and Jessie appear now and shows a Japanese style Inn in the middle of nowhere. A sudden gust of wind blows the cardboard inn over and reveals them without their disguise. They then recite their motto and James sends out his new Pokemon Carnivine. It comes out and instinctively clamps onto James’ head. Seeing her chance, Dawn sends out Piplup and fires Bubblebeam at them. Carnivine simply eats the bubbles and then is ordered to Bite Piplup. A spinning Budew appears on scene and knocks Carnivine away. Budew uses Bullet Seed which results in Team Rocket blasting off again. Nando then appears and greets the group while being thanked for getting rid of Team Rocket.
The whole group then sets up camp, and Nando explains to the group his problem... Ash says that his Budew is a good Pokemon for battling, and so should do Gyms battles. Dawn disagrees, and insists that he do contests with his cute Pokemon. Ash then explains what originally inspired him, and tells the story of when he saw Ho-oh. Dawn then says that she had a similar experience, when she saw a mysterious Pokemon above the lake when she became a Pokemon trainer. Ash then asks Nando for a Pokemon battle and the next day they face off, Pikachu verses Budew. Ash starts things off by telling Pikachu to use Quick Attack. Nando tells Budew to use Bullet Seed, but Pikachu dodges and Pikachu's Quick Attack hits and sends Budew back.
Nando then calmly tells his Pokemon to use Mega Drain. Budew does so, firing off a large stream of green energy which grabs hold of Pikachu and sucks energy out of it. Pikachu falls back down to the ground, and Budew absorbs the energy taken from Pikachu. Ash tells Pikachu to use Thunderbolt. Budew is pushed back by the Pikachu's electric attack. Just then, Budew begins to glow and Brock says that Budew is evolving, as the light around Budew fades and reveals its evolved form, Roselia. Nando, very happy at his Pokemon evolving, tells Roselia to use Sunny Day and then followed up by Solar Beam. Roselia fires off the attack, but Pikachu dodges but it sent flying up into the air by the force of the attack. Ash then orders Pikachu to use Iron Tail, which knocks Roselia out. Nando thanks Roselia for putting up a great fight, and returns it to its Pokeball. Nando then thanks both Ash and Dawn, and they ask if he's decided yet. Nando says that he's going to both Gyms and Contests. Then, saying goodbye to the group, the episode ends as Nando walks away.
