Possible new Pokémon types

So, what are some possible new types of Pokémon that can be created in the future?

What comes to my mind now is wood and plasma/virus.

I can only think of sound and light.

Light would be a nice addition, but sound? That sounds odd :S

No offense; wood sounds stupid, too. XP I sorta hate the hacks that include it as a type.

Light seems reasonable, especially for Pokemon that evolve through the dawn stone or in the day time. Plasma or virus sounds awesome. (Virus would possibly apply to the Porygon chain, Plasma to that one Pokemon in the Old Chateu). "Energy" could almost be a replacement for both Light and Plasma.

I read a while back that they will not be making a new type. They'll just combine different types around example Grass and Ice, Steel and Fire, etc.

They won't for any forseeable reason, but its still fun to think.

I'd like to see that Light type 99% of fangames have. And a Divine type for Legendaries would be pretty nice, but I don't see how that would work out too well.
