Rip movies from a DVD and turn them into MPEG
I figured I'd put this for ZamVideos.
What you will need:
1. A DVD(Duh)
2. A DVD-ROM compatible drive(Double duh)
3. Handbrake
5. The correct codecs for your filetype.
What to do, dawg:
First, thou must downloadeth thy program named Handbrake. 'Tis easy to find in the far off lands of download.com -eth.
Next, one must insert thy DVD into thine DVDROM and starteth handbrake. Clicketh the icon "source", and selectethethethetheth thy DVD drive. Selecteth the appropriate preset, selecteth a destination file, and presseth "Start".
EASY AS PIE :D
There are a bunch of advanced features, like subtitles and such, but you guys are smart enough to figure that out yourselves. (Except maybe SK, but he's "Special")

Ok, so basically some staff members are having trouble how to post a video on ZamVideos or finding the video. So I've decided to make a tutorial thread.
1. Video Sources
There is a lot of videos source out there. I'll list what I usually use.
MegaVideo (http://megavideo.com)
Youtube (http://youtube.com)
Hulu (http://hulu.com)
Veoh (http://veoh.com)
LiveVideos (http://livevideo.com)
Google Videos (http://video.google.com)
Myspace (http://myspace.com/videos)
123Video (http://www.123video.nl)
If you can't find the video you're looking for and YouTube has it and it has parts to the video (Part 1, Part 2, etc). Then go ahead and use it but make sure their on the same post. You can also just try to google the title.
2. Embed
Most video hosting sites have a place to embed a video. The list I've posted, you can embed. Basically, all you need to do is find where they say embed and copy the code as so. For example <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0" width="420" height="339"><param name="movie" value="http://www.123video.nl/123video_share.swf?mediaSrc=89631" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><embed src="http://www.123video.nl/123video_share.swf?mediaSrc=89631" quality="high" width="420" height="339" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></object>
Embedding MegaVideo
Once you see the video your embedding on MegaVideo (http://megavideo.com) go to the bottom and you'll see something called "Embed Video" as you see below.
http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8470/64233156.jpg
Click that and you'll see "Set the size of the player" IMPORTANT Always change the width to 450! Don't touch the height leave it as it is and copy the new code you'll see on the right.
Embedding Myspace
Embedding on Myspace is pretty simple to do on Megavideo. All you have to do is click on the video you're trying to embed and go down untill you see "Embed Code" as you see below.
http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/6010/37769990.jpg
Once you copy the code you must delete some parts to it for example. I've the the things you would have to delete.
<font face="Verdana" size="1" color="#999999"><br/><a style="font: Verdana" href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=61637718">No Basta</a><br/><object width="425px" height="360px" ><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><param name="wmode" value="transparent"/><param name="movie" value="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=61637718,t=1,mt=video"/><embed src="http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=61637718,t=1,mt=video" width="425" height="360" allowFullScreen="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent"></embed></object><br/><a style="font: Verdana" href="http://www.myspace.com/francodevitamusic">Franco De Vita</a> | <a style="font: Verdana" href="http://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=videos">MySpace Music Videos</a></font>
3. How to post it.
Log in (http://www.pokezam.com/videos/wp-admin/) > On the left side you'll see a column called "Post" on the bottom you'll see "Add new" click that > On the top right you'll see two tabs called "Visual" and "HTML" make sure the tab is on HTML > Paste the code from the video you pasted and copy it there.
4. Requirements.
For every video you post, make sure you first title it "EP. [number of episode here]". For example," EP. 3 The Player's Club."
Also, if you see on the bottom right they have a column called "Categories". Please make sure you CHECK what show the video suppose to be with.
Have a summary to every video. You could make your own or just copy and paste from Wikipedia. Be sure to credit them. Example: Credit to Wikipedia, Source: Wikipedia, etc.
That's about it. If there is any questions IM me or just PM me.
