The Kanto Battle Tournament!
This is my first tournament on the net and the first tournament in pokezam as well, therefore, I hope all of you trainers to participate in it to have fun, get some experience and get prizes as well.
Rules of the tournament:
1) Because it is a Kanto Tournament, only Kanto pokemon are allowed.
Kanto pokemon are the pokemon that are seen in the national dex from 001-151. The best place to view these pokemon is www.serebii.net (http://www.serebii.net), so view the pokemon there and try to build your team with those pokemon.
I would like to comment that the pokemon that are related to Kanto, example, Magby, Magmortar, etc. aren't allowed, therefore please stick to the pokemon that are listed within 001-151.
2) The Sleep Clause
A person cannot make 2 Pokemon fall asleep in his opponent's team at the same time. Sleeping being caused by Effect Spore or Rest aren't considered from Sleep Clause.
3) The Species Clause
You cannot have 2 similar Pokemon in your team.
4) The Evasion Clause
Moves that increase evasion cannot be used, including Acupressure because this will make the battle longer and more annoying!
5) OHKO Moves
OHKO Moves are strictly not allowed. They are Guillotine, Horn Drill, Fissure and Sheer Cold.
6) Hacked Pokemons are strictly not allowed.
To avoid cheating, every battler will save the video in his Vs. Recorder if he owns Platinum as this key item has the ability to know whether the pokemon are hacked or not. If any of the pokemon are hacked, it will tell you that there is something wrong in either yours or your opponent's team. (Nice trick, hah?!)
7) Disconnecting and forfeiting are unacceptable.
You cannot disconnect your DS by moving out of range or turning off your DS to end the battle. However, some routers have weak signals and a small range, therefore, the person who disconnected needs to contact his opponent immediately and apologize telling him the reason and then re-battling. But, if the same person disconnects 3 times at the same battle, even if it isn't on purpose, that battler will be disqualified.
8) The Item Clause
Two Pokemon cannot hold the same item.
9) Battling Style
3 vs. 3 lv.100 single standard battle.
All standard PokeZam rules apply.
The winner and the loser must VM (visitor message) me telling me the result.
I don't want much posts in this thread so that it won't look crappy, therefore, just post for participitation, and for otehr things, feel free to PM or VM me.
Each two batters are allowed 1 weak to battle otherwise both of them will get disqualified.
10) No legendaries!
The legendaries in Kanto are Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew. All of these aren't allowed to be used.
NOTE: Any breaker to the above rules is going to be immediately disqualified and considered as a loser.
I will wait until next Thursday to stop the registration, however, by any mean, if the number of participants reach to eight before the deadline, the registration will be closed immediately, so better for you to register quickly!
