View Full Version : Rotom's forms to be available in HG.SS without a Secret Key

It is now confirmed by Serebii that the different Rotom forms (Frost, Fan, Wash, Mow, Heat) are going to be available in HeartGold/Soulsilver without the Secret Key. All you have to do is put any Rotom at the front of your team and head towards Silph Co. . There, you walk into an elevator, and Rotom powers it up and takes you to the room where the different appliances are situated. Once there, you can change your Rotom freely to any form.

I know thats cool It will come in handy one day for my rotom(s), also i like how you can rematch with all 16 gym leaders after you beat red/ash, and get things in the games where you could only get them on plantinum.

It is nice to know that these games are getting more features, but anyway, I don't like Rotom that much so I don't care about them.

To share my opinion, I would say that it is a good chance for all the people who haven't had Platinum to try out and obtain Rotom's other forms. I would also say it isn't a very good idea as I thought that those forms were only restricted to Pokemon Platinum.
However, I don't feel about it as they are useless anyways, and will be stored in my PC boxes with no attention paid to them.

A drawback of that is that they didn't leave anything special for Platinum. They got all of its features and added them to HG/SS

I highly doubt that as in Platinum you couldn't do so, and I don't think they will change this 'rule'.

Rotom isn't that strong to be used in the Battle Frontier. These multi-Rotom are only used as special pokemon with special moves in the in-game team.

In truth its actually pretty cool, and I don't it was all that über special to begin with, so I am happy that you no longer need to do the event.
