Discuss the happenings of your school, when you start, when you get out, what time you go there, and when you'll be on PokeZam due to school here.

Alright, I'm a 9th grader. A Freshman in high school. I'm not sure what it will be like, but I start at 7:25 and get out at 2:25, I believe... I'm not sure how much I'll be on PokeZam. I'm hoping once a day. As for the bus, which I will take, it leaves at like, 6:30. Not fun... :(

Hm... Well, I'll be starting after memorial day, in 9th grade. It starts at 7:45, and ends at 2:25. The bus ride usually takes less than 10 minutes, however I spend about 15 minutes before school because of the time the bus picks me up.

Once it starts, I'll probably be MIA for a few months getting adjusted. Afterwards, I'll just be gone throughout the day, but shall exist at night.

I'm starting tenth grade on August 31st. I'll be arriving for school sometime before 7:30. At 7:35 I'll take a bus for tech school, then come back sometime after lunch. I'll leave school at 2:14.

I might be going to the same school I have been going to or a different school.

I'm gonna try to get on as much as I can. But homework comes first.

Yeah, I intend to get nothing lower than a 3.00.

Plus, each month I got to school without missing a day, I get fifty dollars.

With that said, if I get sick, I'm going to school, going to the nurse and going back home. :P

This summer went by way too quickly for me, since school starts on Monday.

Hey NP, do you normally miss school a lot, or is that just a little bonus for you?

I have migraine headache problems. However, I have been overcoming it lately using my own brainpower and heartpower.

But, it is just a bonus really. If I get 3.00's and more, I get 100 bucks as a bonus.

At the end of the school year, I will have made over one thousand dollars.

The reason my separated parents are doing this is because they feel that school is only going to get harder.

They're trying to make sure I continue to do great in school as I have already been doing.

And this is a good way to persuade me of that. I won't be slacking off at all.

I very rarely take homework home. An hour study hall and the time given in class is usually more than enough for me.

Evil. I average a 3.85, and will at best get 5 bucks a semester.

Same here SR about not taking homework home. I usually finish mines during class due to the extra time we have.

For some reason, we go through our lesson pretty fast. I think we have 90 minutes per class.

We have approximately fifteen minutes left to talk to our friends, or do homework/extra credit until the bell rings.

I probably won't get anything, sucks for me. I guess we'll see. I really wanna start mowing the lawn for money soon, but some mexicans came and did it... So I didn't have to.

I already mow the lawn at my father's house. I usually get paid twenty dollars considering my step brother helps.

So we split the forty bucks.

However, we're getting eighty dollars a piece for cutting down the bushes around his house.

We got forty last time and this weekend we get the rest once we finish the second half of bushes.

Where I live, the school I go to has the highest rating of Gays/Bisexuals.

I get up at 5:00 am (yes, 5 AM!), prepare myself, and then leave the house at 5:40 AM to wait for the bus. I reach school at 6:05 AM, and classes begin at 7:30 AM. We get our 2 recesses during our school day; the first recess is 45 minutes, and the second is 30 minutes (forgot the timings :P). We leave at 3:00 PM, and I reach my house at 3:40 PM.

School days are tiring... -__-

I was fine. I had like 30 minutes of homework for Geometry. It was hard getting around to my rooms in 7 minutes but I think I'm good now. :D

School started today for me. I was too busy getting ready for it so that explains my recent absences.

Learning my schedule wasn`t difficult at all. Probably because I am a Sophomore.

Still, the way they set it up was dumb. It took me and everyone else in school to find out where the Administrative Homerooms were so that we could retrieve our schedules.

Other than that, things went pretty smooth. Tomorrow will more than likely be the same.

No, but she asked me earlier how they would be able to tell who the Freshmen were. So when she started to shake, I guess she knew. It was pretty funny to me.

I have a pretty big school with 4,000+ kids so it takes me like 6 minutes in the morning because I have to go to the other end of the school... Other than that, it takes around 4 minutes to get to my next class. :D

Especially now that there are Freshmen coming from the middle school right across the street.

It is funny, but I have this power where I can easily tell who the Ninth Graders are.

Yeah, it's pretty small. On the other hand, my high school is one of the biggest in the state, I think the second or third, where I know Cooper High School is the biggest in the state.

There's like 1,000+ kids at my school. (I believe that's the number. It could be less.) We get 7 minutes in between classes. And some people have the option of getting out at 12:19pm and if you can't get out at that time (because you have a 4th block or whatever), you get out at 2:14pm. My school's not really that big. (Then again, I distinctly remember that my friends and I walked the halls every morning, through every hallway and we basically memorized everything, including shortcuts to classes and all.)

And... I haven't gone back yet, luckily enough. I'll be going back September 8th. I'll be a sophomore. =]

Anyway, I finished my Biology and English Language Homework.
I also started my ICT assignment and got all the information I need.
I though of doing more, but I am tired and I was so busy with fixing my computer which was broken today morning.

I successfully finished my ICT assignment, after hard work and effort *feels proud*.

Anyways, school days always vary for me:

Sometime, it is a boring day; boring classes, boring lessons, and boring homeworks.

However, sometimes it is a very amazing day, where we joke a lot, pull pranks on other students, have experiments/interesting classes, and challenging exercises/lessons.

I like the second type of days, just to let you know :D

My school has these advisory classes this year. They didn't last year though.

I think it is dumb. What's the point of bring some students together who don't know one another so that they can?

No one cares about having a class such as that. Teenagers are more than able to communicate with others and gain new friends through old friends.

Making a class for basically networking is ridiculous in my opinion.

Anyway, I was studying for some of my upcoming tests this day; not hard, but not easy as well. I also did few homeowrk which weren't tough at all.

Today, we had a Biology quiz which I didn't prepare, but it was so much easy. This day was boring, but hopefully, it won't tomorrow.

Anyways, today, we took about the Pythagoras Theorem in the maths class, and it was pretty damn easy for me, since I know it from before. However, I also learned today at the house how to generate Pythagorean Triples given one side (non-hypotenuse).

We also had so much fun while practicing basketball in the activity lesson.

Finally, and the best part for me, we had to give in our ICT projects today, as well as present them to the class (chart = 5 marks, presentation = 5 marks, total = 10 marks). I gave in mine, gave a 4~5 minutes speech about the types of computers (presentation), and then the teacher said: "5 and 5!" and some of the boys in the class started clapping and cheering for me xD Not to mention that I am the only person in grade 9 who got a full mark.
Yeah, I felt really proud of my work yet modest as well :P

As usual, we got an English Language homwork which is writing a poem, and personally, I suck in writing poems, so what am I supposed to do?1! Luckily, it is due to Thursday, so no much panic!
I was pleased enough today to know that our English Literature teacher is absent, therefore, we got a free period! http://www.piforums.info/images/smilies/biggrin.gif And as usual, our Chemistry teacher didn't arrive yet from Australia, so we are getting free periods. http://www.piforums.info/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Then, we had double Biology where we did some experiments about diffusion, which I didn't understand much, but the experiment was cool. xD
Maths was pretty easy and nothing more...

For my homework, I did an essay and I studied for my Busines test which I have for tomorrow.

We got 3 free classes today, so that worked well for me 8D

Then we explored diffusion and osmosis, and did an experiment to make it clearer and more creative for us. What we did was that we had an egg which was placed in vinegar over night, so that the outer shell broke and the egg was covered in a membrane. Then, we put it in different concentrations of salt solutions, measuring the mass each time. We noticed that the egg had more mass each time it was put in a solution for 10 minutes.

I also did the essay which Spirit did as well, and studied for the business test for tomorrow.

Today was a bad day for me, sort of:
I forgot my journal today, although I did it.
The reason why I forgot it is because my phone, with which I set the alarm for waking up, switched off because of no power, and so I woke up 10~13 minutes later than when I was supposed to. You can guess what happened then...

Then, I got a 39/40 in my test today. A pretty good mark, I suppose.

In the English Language class, we acted a short play, and it turned out pretty well. Actually, our group got the highest mark in class.

Today, surprisingly, was another 'fast' Thursday, probably because we had 2 tests and an assembly at the end of the day, making classes shorter.

And I'm also getting a long, 10-day holiday, starting next Thursday, so things are becoming good on my side.

Ans by the way, our school is so big that it has 3 teams. Freshmen, JV (Junior Varsity), and Varsity.

Unfortunately, since I am new to public schools, I missed a few practices already... I was supposed to get an information sheet. On the list that told you if you make the team, it said to get an information sheet on it, but I was too busy so I just looked at my name and left as soon as I could. Hopefully they will still let me play? :|

At my school, we have two buildings. One is called, "The main building" and the other, "The annex."

The Main is bigger of course, but if the two were combined, my school would be huge.

Our school's branch, i.e the boys' branch, has 3 large buildings, 2 big grass fields for football, one big gym, a playground, 2 moderately-sized outdoor basketball courts, and so on.

Not to mention it has 3 other branches beside all this.
