Flash or Java

Adobe Flash Player an Sun-Microsystems Java are two of the largest pieces of technologies today, in part because they are both easy ways to program for all systems - Windows, Macintosh, and Linux. Which do you prefer to use, and if you can in either, which do you prefer to program in?

Java is much more versatile than Flash.

Yeah, I have some preference for Java over Flash, being that it is a more full-fledged programming language, and that its easier to start learning (Adobe Flash Toolkits cost money, on the other hand).

Of course, I don't know either.

I say Java because Runescape runs on it or something. :D

I prefer Java, but flash isn't so bad. I agree with Jared though.
