Compatibility with Third Generation Games

Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum all featured the ability to transfer Pokemon from FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald to Pal Park so you could catch them. Now with new Fourth Generation games on the way, do you feel Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver should also allow you to obtain Pokemon from the games of yore?

I don't see why not. I mean, you get to catch Legendary Pokemon from the Sinnoh Region, so of course you should be able to catch Pokemon from the Kanto and Hoenn Regions. That's what I think any way. I don't see the point of limiting what Pokemon you can get after catching big name Pokemon such as Arceus, Giratina, Dialga and Palkia from Sinnoh.
