TR may actually be the best part of the anime.

Also, Kanto was explosive, had cool Pokemon and a passable storyline. The surroundings were more creative than "roads" in season I, II and III, which were basically forests and meadows.

There alright but they need to change the intro, kanto was awesome the pokemon are cool, and the story did make more sense!!

Thats all you liked?

My worst moment is collective since for the first five years of owning any games I constantly restarted them.

I still tend to due that to lack of funds. For instance, I am planning on restarting Platinum tonight.

I would say one of my worst moments was when I caught that shiny Wurmple, but it was on a fricken ROM. It was on the second route in Emerald, if I recall. So far its the only one I've ever found, and it was on a freakin' ROM, and it was a freakin' Wurple! Why do you hate me?!

I restarted my Pokemon Crystal and Pokemon Yellow recently. I beat Yellow already, now I am finishing up the Johto Region part of Crystal and then it is on to the Kanto Region.

How is that your worst moment?

Some of my worst moments include a few times when I healed my pokemon in the pokemon center, and then turned off the game because I thought that I had just saved it. Generally, whenever I haven't saved for some reason or another and I lose important data and have to do something all over again, that's when I get frustrated.

I caught it, though I only raised a beautify once, and even then it was only temporary, so I felt I would just store it in my PC. Its still there too...

oh so it wasnt really worth all the trouble.

I considered using the Master Ball, however since I was going to find her later anyway, this time with a much more powerful Pokemon team and a huge load of Pokeballs, I figured it would be best to just defeat her and fight her again later.

Yeah that way does seem easier but wouldnt repeat balls work better?

I wanted the Master Ball for Mespirit, hehehe. I managed to catch Uxie with 40 Ultra Balls and 3 Timer Balls and Azelf with 40 Ultra Balls and 13 Timer Balls... So I could probably get Giratina the same way, but I didn't have my Scyther with me then. False swipe, I love you. :P

False Swipe doesn't affect Giratina, as he is a ghost-type and it is a normal-type attack.

Anyway, that situation wouldnt've been a problem for me cause I always save in front of the legendaries. :D

Giratina was surprisingly strong when I fought him - trying to wait long enough for repeat balls to work with KOing him would have been suicidal. In fact, the first time when I tried using Dark Balls and Ultra Balls, he did Knock Out every one of my Pokemon. When I restarted, it seemed better to just take him down.

Don't Repeat Balls make catching a Pokemon you've caught before easier? And yeah... I guess I wouldn't be able to use False Swipe. I still <3 it.

Even if I had False Swipe, it wouldn't have helped me much. I remember, it took hours for me to finally capture the Giratina in Platinum. He kept running out of his moves and he would commit suicide with Struggle.

cool i didnt even notice, well another wouldnt hurt i guess :)

Oh, yeah, I was thinking timer balls. However, I hadn't previously caught it, so it wouldn't really have helped. Also, it would have been no better than an Ultra Ball, I believe.

Struggle is actually a fairly strong move - early in the game it can be killer, and rather easy to get to when you only have one or two moves available.

Palmo

struggle helps alot but it is dangerous because you can kill yourself

My worst pokemon moment was when in the days of red/blue and yellow verions, that i beat the game (after catching mewtwo) I shut that game off for that day and played another game, and the next day i think either my red version or my blue version got deleted after turning on the game. Not sure why though, maybe one of them where really old or very dirty.

Oh. When I think about it, my Pokemon Crystal was used when I bought it... Is there a way to get it replaced? If not, I'll just have to wait for HeartGold and SoulSilver. ;)

kakashidragon
08-08-2009, 06:39 PM
I tryed asking nintendo but they said you have to buy a new copy of the game to "relace it" they said. But i think theres a way to replace the battery but its risky. it could damage your game forever, but i dont remeber where i read this at though.

Over 9,000 Superkowz
08-08-2009, 06:40 PM
There's no use playing a game you can't save on, so replacing the battery is worth a try I guess.

kakashidragon
08-08-2009, 06:46 PM
try seraching the web and see if maybe another site will have a way of showing you how to replace the battery. there are sites like that but like i said i dont remeber whitch ones.

kakashidragon
08-08-2009, 06:53 PM
maybe i'll look later too just in case, because i want to find my red verion before my game battery dies so i can trade my pokemon back over to that game so i can put them on a pokemon stadium game that my cousion has.

Umm so I figured out that you can get a new battery. They have to solder it in or something and you need a small screwdriver to open it. It takes some work but your game can be revived. :D
