As the topic suggests, who to you had the most character development out of all of Ash's companions?

I'm going to say May, as in the beginning of the series she was even afraid of Pokemon, while near the end she had greatly powered up and was a contest mastermind (mistressmind?).

She wasn't exactly afraid of them, she just hated them... And, yes, I know it is about the same thing, but I am closer to the truth than you. :P

However, My vote goes to Brock. In the beginning episodes, he seemed like a force to be reckoned with, and someone who can't be beaten by any more than an average trainer. However in the next few episodes, it was evident about his problem. Anyway he has come a long way, and has been a dependant guy. He knows a lot about Pokemon and computers.
