Just a small explanation of how the hierarchy works around here.

Registered User: Basic user, no special permissions except if you request a special HTML user title.

Elite User: Sort of a pre-mod status. This is designed to reward people though at the same time not inflate their ego. It allows for far more private messages than a registered user, the ability to view IP addresses and detailed locations of all users and staff.

Moderators/Super Moderators: Due to vBulletin's weird way of setting up things. We don't use the Moderator user-group since it places itself at the top of the Forum Leaders page. Super Mods can access the moderator control panel, ban/unban/infract users, post announcements, and can close, pin, move, and delete threads/posts in all forums.

Co-Administrator - This I came up with a while back here. I felt if I didn't have full administrator permissions, I should distinctly let it be known. Basically I have a decent amount of access in the Admin Control Panel and can regulate all users and forums as well as access what Super Mods can.

Administrator - Has all access to everything including on the site and forum.

It should be noted this usergroup is also used for staff.

I've already fixed that problem, actually. I think, anyway. I know it was fixed in the default style, though I don't always focus on all other styles.

In the future that usergroup would also be used for any Administrator permissions - not just user/forum permissions.

You mean we can make a user a mod on just one forum without it displaying at the top of the page?

It failed, my ego inflated as soon as I got the promotion. ;D

jk. Good guide, non the less-needed, because I did see some people on other forums opening threads with "I WANNA BE AN ADMIN, BUT FIRST, DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO TURN OF CAPS LOCK?" posts.
