First Heart Gold / Soul Silver Screenshots

The first Heart Gold/Soul Silver, the recently announced Gold/Silver remakes, screenshots have been released on Pokemon Sunday today, about half an hour ago. In it, you will notice a Chikorita walking around outside, an outside stairway to the right of the laboratory, the rival in the corner of the Lab as like before, and a wind turban at the bottom of the screen. Is that a Chikorita following the trainer like off of Pokemon Yellow?

Game System: Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and DSi

Starter Pokemon: Grass - Chikorita, Fire - Cyndaquil, Water - Totodile

Release Date: Japan - Fall 2009 (probably late September), America - Possibly May 2010

Yeah, the Chikorita is in fact following the player. It'd be kinda cool if any Pokemon could. Also, I'd take a guess that May 2010 is a bit later than it will be, though its possible.

I sure hope they make a pokemon wii adventure somewhere in between that release date...
