Netbooks

Netbooks have been a huge craze lately. They have been selling with huge popularity due to their small and portable size, being fairly capable, and their rather low price. I personally haven't bought one, but my mom owns an Acer Aspire One (along with two other laptops that she uses daily).

So, I'm curious, who has bought a Netbook or tried out someone else's? Did you like it? Also, did you have Linux or Windows on it?

I tried one at Staples with windows XP. They're decent for internet and stuff, but their size makes a severe lack of ports and the screen is very tiny. And they are NOT good for gaming. The one I tried only had ~200 mb of ram.

Wow, 200 megs. I don't know of many under 1 gig.
