Serebii has a list though two I remember are the Porygon episode and a Jynx episode that was banned due to the SARS outbreak.

I believe there was a fourth, the one in which Ash went to the Safari Zone. I believe it was banned for violence. None the less, I believe of all the banned episodes, it was the only one to add to the storyline, as the 30 Tarous he caught were later mentioned.

The one with Jynx was because they thought she was a racial stereotype.


I can see why, the Japanese always call Americans white devils.

Well, I have to argue with that. The Japanese is actually currently very great allies with us, and for the most part their people are fairly appreciative. Though, back in WWII, that is definitely true.

None the less, you are right that it was because of racial reasons, however I feel that there was no actual harm meant.

What i dont with get with the porygon episode, is that they should just edit out the massive flashes that caused those big problems to people and there kids back then, with none flashes in it and show the episode on tv again someday.
