It wasn't easy at all as he began with learning me ****ing programming codes which has nothing to do with hacking. All I learned were the hacking ranks.

Hacking into accounts is another, different thing. I know three great hackers, so there's no need to learn it myself.

Sorry, I've been working more on the main site. Also I was going to reply to the hacking thing yesterday, but my Internet Connection had some problems.

Anyway, for hacking, it actually is something that is meant to be impossible. Trying to hack anything is so vastly luck you wouldn't believe it. Sure, you can easily find a politician's password reminder questions, thats easy, however there really aren't any basic nor complicated ways to hack most types of software. Of course, thats not to say its impossible, however most holes come about because of negligence among the administrators of software, not the creators.

To go more in-depth, there are two main types of hacking, backend hacking and frontend hacking. Trying to hack a backend is generally much harder, but if you dig deep enough, and exploit enough holes, is almost always possible. Plus, since the backend itself has a backend in a language like PHP or ASP, there is possibilities.

Front-end hacking isn't always possible, but can be done sometimes. A very common example of this is executing malicious SQL code in an unsalted field. For instance, if vbulletin didn't salt these post fields, I could easily execute MySQL to change my password.


As for the more recent posts about old users, PokeMaster has already said he may very well come back in the summer, though that is in no means definitive. I wouldn't trust Kaboom back if he wanted to be, because he has expressed sourness towards his demotion (and I can hardly blame him). Catty, I haven't a clue.

Depends on what really is programming. At present time I don't really know anything more than PHP, which I learned through tiztag.com. I also know some Perl, however I haven't used it really at all since having learned it last summer. I learned it at a 2,000 dollar class which I got treated to freely (long story behind that).

Of course, with PHP, and I could still write a satistfactory script to do the task you're trying to accomplish.

Vbulletin is a very secure and extensible forum. Unlike others, you can customize it without ever having to edit the main code. Like Jared said, though, I strongly recommend PHPBB to people looking for free software.

C# isn't really any better than C or C++ in my opinion. Personally, though, real programming is also stuff like Perl, Basic, and Python, which I plan on learning this June. OS source code is based on languages like C, so isn't unique to itself.

I had no purpose as a user there. Dragon Quest IX was delayed so I was very bored and asked VH if I could help out getting projects started to help bring in more members. The thing was I had nothing to go on so I asked for staff forum access and was denied.

I then asked for old staff threads to be moved from the staff forum and got nothing there as well. I started to get anxious and began asking VH to update me. Fang then told me (in nice terms) that I was being a pest, which I was though I asked to be a news writer and got the job, asked for my own forum and chance to lead and got that so what are a few old staff threads?

Things just got boring. I have nothing against VH personally though the forum will never be able to garner the level of visitors Serebii or Bulbagarden get as it's currently being run.

I don't get the complaint there, it's called staff forum for a reason. I don't know any forum which would allow other members staff forum access. Sorry, that's just thing that can't happen that quickly.

It took a while to pick out threads, some things have been discussed a while ago, so they had to be found again. We also had to choose whether it would make sense to move certain thread there (meaning whether there would actually be a way for you or other members to contribute). I don't really know what you wanted there. You decided to delete all threads concerning the project a bit too quickly for us to carry on.

Also, sorry but sometimes we had a hard time trying to figure out what you actually wanted. We were very thankful for all your help, but you often seemed just to be a tad bit too impatient waiting for things to happen. We have a small staff team and so it often takes longer for things to happen. And some things are simply being forgotten about after a while...

I hope you don't see this as an offence. I admit I'm also a bit disappointed by you.
I really dislike being talked about behind my back. If you have any complaints then posting them on a different forum obviously won't help. PI has a feedback forum (and a staff contact forum if you want to make it secret) which can be used if you disagree with something. This is directed at everyone who has a complaint.

If I had to buy a server like Serebii does, I simply couldn't afford it. And I don't think PI would ever be as popular as SPPf, no matter what I did. You don't get banned through infractions. What you need to understand that an insult is an insult, no matter who you insulted. It's not that easy if you want to be fair to everyone. I also think Max is a strange person and that something is wrong with him. The problem is that I just can't ban him without a reason. I can't simply kick out everyone who bothers me if they don't break the rules. If he does, then report him.

That's amazing. Max is banned from Serebii because he annoyed several staff members. VH is an admin and can view the SPPf mod forums as well as Max's infractions. It's obvious he has issues.

In my opinion, Winter did like loads of uploading important news, in the terms as much as a newsbot. If anyone deserved to have access to staff forums, that would be him. He didn't even ask for moderating options.

I really dislike being talked about behind my back. If you have any complaints then posting them on a different forum obviously won't help. Sorry if that sounds stupid, but I don't want to. If I had to buy a server like Serebii does, I simply couldn't afford it. And I don't think PI would ever be as popular as SPPf, no matter what I did. You don't get banned through infractions. What you need to understand that an insult is an insult, no matter who you insulted. It's not that easy if you want to be fair to everyone. I also think Max is a strange person and that something is wrong with him. The problem is that I just can't ban him without a reason. I can't simply kick out everyone who bothers me if they don't break the rules. If he does, then report him.

I'm glad to hear this. But I won't report anyone; that's not how I do things. I'm not a pussy and I won't go running to admins as soon someone tells me I'm a dumbass or that I'm a jerk etc.

I'm not offended at all VH, though Dragon Quest IX being delayed from late March to early July is what prompted the idea to begin with. I agree that I am impatient (see my earlier post). I was very bored at thought there was something I could put my time into. In the end, I just played through Dragon Quest VII.

I've actually wondered that rather highly myself. It is in fact called a beep, and is executed by internal computer hardware - you do not need any speakers to hear it. In fact, in Linux (and I'd assume Windows) you can change the length, pitch, and other attributes of the beep. I personally make use of this for notifying me of IM messages when my speakers are turned off.

Discussion is just fine. I actually proposed that the discussion rule be removed back when I was a supervisor, though was for the most part overturned. Actually, every website has its host known publicly. The fact is that it would be rather stupid to host ROM content, as Nintendo is very aggressive with sites it can reach, and we're in Chicago.

Today was the best day of my life!!!

A total of 28 people greeted me!

First, we went to a luxurious five star hotel named Hyatt Regency. It was extremely fabulous; we ate in a restaurant which spins slowly, and the food was just amazing! We had a lot of fun, especially when I was surprised when all the staff came with a cake and sang: "Happy Birthday, Suhaib!" and then I blew off the candles! It was just darn great!

Then I went to one of my favourite malls in Dubai. I got myself new shoes, played one of my favourite games, and then we were gone shopping and playing and laughing! It was just wonderful!

This day is carved in my brain and will never be forgotten! NEVER!! :D

Does anyone know of any really good anime out there? The reason I'm asking is that recently I watched an anime by the name of Elfin Lied and I must say I was blown away. It was so amazing I watched all 14 episodes of it in one sitting.

Usually the only anime I used to watch was Naruto or Bleach but after watching that I must say they suck compared to it. It blew my mind how awesome it was. plenty of action and it wasn't all just action and a sucky storyline there was actual character development and the like.

So yeah I would really appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of an anime that's amazing and please don't recoomend DBZ or Naruto or something really mainstream I've seen them all. Btw if you're interested in seeing Elfin Lied let me warn you there's a ton of nudity and gore. It deals with physco logical torture and other mature themes so if you're used to the happy anime where the bad guys always lose I wouldn't recommend.

The bottom line is that he wants PokeZam to be Serebii which is impossible. Serebii.net is Serebii's passion; 24/7/365. It's not a part time job, it's more than a full time job. In addition you can't make Pokemon that fresh since it hits so many dry spots.

No need to be so critical Jared. It was Alakazam who gave SR and myself chances who in turn gave you a chance. Of course he hasn't had the best of luck with staff including myself (who wanted to do too much too soon) and Kater who was very similar.

I bought a DVD recorder today. I hope it's what I need for getting videos as I have horrible luck with capture cards.

Well, if you plan on capturing handhelds, you'll need both an emulator and an S-Video cable, though that approach has shown promise for me. For consoles, I have found it to work incredibly well.

How do I take videos of my PS2 games while playing the game then put them into my computer?

First you'll need a DVD-recorder with RCA-In (most only have RCA-out). Then plug the PS2 into the RCA-In. If you then set up the DVD-recorder properly, you should find that the PS2 is playing on the TV screen. If so, start recording a blank DVD.

Also the DVD recorder is for my Wii. I cannot get DS video that I want so I stopped trying.

Uh yeah, I use Camtasia studio so basically I can record any part of my screen or my whole screen as much as I want and cut it later. So if you need a DS recording, get the emulator and the rom, then download Camtasia from Mininova or something, or just buy it.

Or you can use a webcam to do the same thing.

Originally the idea was to get a few users behind my Project idea. When I gave up, I decided to go to Zam where I once held some power and give some new friends some jobs discretely.

As long as no one is advertising, I don't see there being a problem. Sending someone a PM is better than advertising in your signature provided you don't send messages en masse.

The problem is not with PI as a whole, it's with one user who originally caused issues on SPPf. Talking about that user here is also not a problem I feel as well.

Sending someone a PM is advertising if it's telling someone to come so to some site. And it's something I won't tolerate, just saying. This is just something that bugs me a lot, because I've seen it often (especially on SPPf).

Well yes PMing is advertising though by no means am I saying to stop going to your forum. I was disappointed however so rather than continue to complain, I would rather be here and ask others privately if they would like to join me as I would no longer be posting on your forum.

A PM was sent to RG, Shadow, Spirit, and Protest simply saying I would be leaving and do you wish to join me here. RG and Shadow obliged, Spirit and Protest did not.

In terms of jobs, active and mature members would become non-moderating staff which gives more PMs, larger avatar and signature permissions and staff forum access.

Most veterans are inactive/deleted or else they would get their shot. Our active member count is low and on many smaller forums, it usually is.

By no means did I intend to make you look bad however my criticism/comparisons can at times have a condescending tone.

Let me make it clear that I would not welcome in anyone as a registered user let alone a staff consultant if they had a poor attitude elsewhere. I trust RG and Shadow because they were willing to be project helpers and submit ideas.

I should make note that members made staff do go through me, and I hadn't even heard of PI before this (excluding the 3.14 and "Private Investigator" versions). Both Shadow and Red Globe had shown activity, while there weren't any legacy users overly active. And, there are certain users, Jared and Nytz, who were made super moderators a few months back merely for their legacy. Likewise, another old member, PokeMaster, will hopefully return, but I haven't talked to him recently.

OK, OK. Calm down a bit people. Really, I found both forums cool, and VH, you don't see me declining away from PI. On the contrary, PI now is very active, and so I get to post more. Although here it is inactive, but still I found it cool and good to stay. I am not in any manner gonna differentiate between both of them. So, trust me on that point.

Second, I don't think Winter was trying to allure us away from PI. When he sent the message that he was leaving, but didn't specify why, nor did he ever mention to me he was registered here. However, RG was the one who invited me, and I was welcomed hospitably here, so I decided to stay. That's my case, but I don't knwo about others.

I hope I cleared up some stuff here.

Now, back to what I was going to say:
