I just restarted my emerald, and I need a little team advice.

I currently have...
Combusken lv.19
Peck
Double Kick
Cut
Ember
Gentle Nature

Dustox lv.17
Protect
Gust
Poison Sting
Confusion
Timid Nature

Kadabra lv.16
Teleport
Flash
Confusion
Naive Nature

Marill lv. 8
Tackle
Defense Curl
Tail Whip

And advice on what I should add/take away?

Alright then. Do you have any other advice? I'm thinking of catching a zubat.

Yeah, you should. Also look for a Numel. They're pretty useful, especially when they evolve. Also, look for a water Pokemon and a Taillow. Replace the Zubat or the Dustox with the Taillow later on.

Okay, I caught a skitty but soon dumped it for a marill. And my torchic evolved.

Here is what I usually do to win the game. I try to get a Grass, Water, and Fire type first. That way you'll have those that you can use in gyms for type advantages. I also usually like to catch the bird pokemon of the game (in Emerald that's Talliow). After I get all those I have 2 spots in my team left in which I rotate out depending on the battle or gym. I think you should evolve your Abra so it can learn some good moves for combat. A Zubat can be good, but you have to pay attention to which moves you teach it otherwise it may make it hard to win battles. I actually recommend getting a Makuhita (a very STRONG fighting type) which you can catch on Dewford Island. I hope I've helped a little. :D Please pm me if you need any more tips or anything else.

Good thinking~ I was thinking of catching a shroomish and a vulpix when I hit lilycove city. .Is seviper a good choice? It's a pretty strong poison type.

Spheal's are good, when you evolve it, you get rest and snore, then later, dump snore for Sleep talk, and you'll be set!

Well, when I made it to the first gym, I had Treecko, Marill, Taillow, Poochyena and Zigzagoon. I evolved them all, and later replace poochyena with Absol, and Zigzagoon with Spheal. So my final team after the E4 was;

Sceptile 51
Swellow 50
Absol 49
walrein 50
Azumarill 50
and an Empty spot.
So my advice; catch a marill taillow Zigzagoon and poochyena and train them all to their evolves. Since they evolve around level twenty.

ZigZagoon's pickup ability helped me alot.
Taillow are strong, but if you prefer you can catch a skarmory to replace it later.

Haha, yeah. I remember when I was outside rustboro once in Sapphire and it found an ultra ball(I had just started).

Anyways, my abra evolved. Yaayz =D

Yeah, Dustox isn't very good. Also, to take care of team aqua, a Shroomish or electrike might come in handy later, I'd take Electrike, because it gives you other advantages as well.
