[Akai]

This thread is for the game logs of Akai, Shiny Espeon, and Catty. We are restarting Sapphire, and each choosing a different starter. You may comment or help (if we ask) but otherwise, leave this to us. Kay? ;)

Shiny Espeon started this idea, when she asked Catty and I what started she should pick, we both gave different choices, so now, all three of us will restart the game. Shiny Espeon will choose Torchic. Catty will choose Treecko. And I will choose Mudkip. We will record our gameplay as often as possible, and keep our teams updated. We each have trainer cards, colorized to our starting Pokemon, so hosting our teams won't be a problem. It will be our choice to go into further detail.

Our loggings will be in color as well. Shiny Espeon will be in a red. Catty will be in a green. And I will be in a blue. The game has started. The starters have been chosen. The adventure has begun....

It was a normal start. I was soft resetting to get either a shiny or a female, but since it was getting late (2:30am) I just got the regular old male Mudkip. I KO'd the Poochyena with three hits, and did all the beginning stuff. Now I have to find Birch's son. My Mudkip is at Lv7 right now. I'd like him at Lv10 before I move on. I plan to capture a Zigzagoon, mainly for Pickup, and a Poochynea, since it's useful after learning Bite, but a pain in the butt until it does. I have no ideal team as of yet, but I do plan on getting a Camerupt.

Not much happened. I caught a Slakoth (since it's kinda rare) and a Wurmple, for evolution use. Both are trapped in meh PC. >:3 I got a Shroomish to help me with Petalburg Gym, since Breloom's Mach punch is useful. Haven't gotten to Rustboro. I'm still training. :p

Mmmkays, so I just started out my game. I choose a Torchic, and I named her MiniMaya (off the anime Tanjho Tenge xDD). Mini is at level eight right now, and currently I'm at the part of the game where the lady shows you what a PokeMart is.

Alright, I just defeated Brendan for the first rival battle. Healted my little Chick, and now we're heading back to the lab to get our PokeDex and Running Shoes (thank goodness for running shoes!)!

Okay, well I easily defeated Brendon, and I'm now in Petalburg City. I got a Lotad to balance out my team, and also got myself a Ralts. I'm going to get them all up to level 12, and then head for the forest.

This made me think of how much I wanted to restart D/P, but I don't want to erase my files and I don't want to buy a new one because that would be a waste of money. I can't wait until Platinum comes out.

This seems like a lot of fun. Good luck you guys. Personally I am not fond of any of the Hoenn starters but if I had to choose I would go with Mudkip. I actually have a barely started Ruby I should get going on. I just haven't been into the Hoenn games lately.

I haven't played in a few days. I just basically Lv'd up. I'm trying to catch a Female Skitty, since one) they're rare, and two) I want to try one out on my team. I doubt I'll use it much, since I'll have to train it ... a lot. I'll keep training until my Pokemon are at Lv20, or something. I'm mainly wanting to train and harvest berries.

I trained, trained, trained my butt off... It was hard, having just Lv6-8 Pokemon to kill off. I did finally get my Female Skitty, so I'm happy. With all my Pokemon at Lv20, I challenged Roxanne. I won easily with Kirlia's Confusion.

I have to be honest, Lving Ralts up to evolving status was pure torture. When all my other Pokemon needed like 700 EXP to Lv up, Ralts needed over 1000. x_x But, yeah... -sigh- Shroomish is my next to evolve. ^_^ I need to get going. I have about 10 hours of game time racked up, and I just now beat the first gym leader.

lol that is kinda slow im at the 8th gym in 11 hours and rushing is fun just training takes the challenge out of it like your lvl 20 kirlia vs a lvl 15 nosepass were is the fun it that??

Description: Omg! I caught a marill on Route 117 at level thirteen, and it evolved super quick. Azzui has the power Huge Power, which doubles her power. She can kick butt too. :3



Alrighty, we're currently riding up from Mauville and onto Route 112. I'm really glad that my team is coming together really smoothly-within a few days or so it should be complete.

Ok... Lots happened. I beat Roxanne, and was off to deliver the Letter and Goods. I got to Dewford, and caught a little Zubat, since I want a Crobat in the future. I got to be honest, until it learn Bite at Lv16, it completely sucked! I wanted it to know Wing Attack, since it's useful for those Grass Pokemon. I replaced Zubat with Mightyena, since all I was using him for was Bite anyway. Zubat evolved, and I was a happy camper. I went back and forth from Dewford to Slateport, and beyond leveling up.

I challenged Brawly with just my Kirlia, and just my Confusion attack. I beat him in just three attacks. I did some more training, playing around with getting a rare Minun and putting him in the DayCare to level him up quicker. I discarded him. I plan on having Kirlia evolve into Gardevior, and work on PP ups for his Psychic. I may have him learn an Electric attack and maybe an Ice attack.... or maybe Swampert will learn it, in defence for those mean Grass attacks.

On the way to Mauville, I got attacked by my rival. I totally forgot, but totally won. :D I did more training around the city, trying to get a look at all the Pokemon now avaliable to me. Once ready, I challenged Wattson, and won with ease. For some reason, I thought he had Lv30 Pokemon. =/ I think I'm thinking of Emerald or something. Now, I'm going to Lv up my Numel, and get all my Pokemon (except my HP slave) to Lv30... then I'm gonna beat Daddy. >:3
