Definition of Parallel Universe

(Dictionary.com)
-a theory that there is a mirror universe and when one makes a decision in this universe, an alternate 'you' in the other universe makes the opposite decision


Welcome to the Parallel World of Pokemon! This is a place where interesting creatures called Pokemon exist. Such creatures live in oceans, caves, and other places where you would normally find animals. Pokemon grow, fight, and live in the world. Some are raised by people called trainers to fight others like them or compete in contests. Bonds created between trainer and Pokemon are truly magical, and this is where this role play starts.



In Parallel Kanto live five ambitious trainers. They are ready to start their Pokemon journey of venturing into the world and capturing their own Pokemon, learning more about themselves, and attaining badges. Today they make their big move of getting their own first Pokemon in Parallel Professor Oak’s laboratory! How exciting!

History: Akai is from Solaceon. Her mother died at a young age and it was just her and her father. She wants to go into a Pokemon Psychology field, but was told she needed to start out at a trainer. She does have some experience, but most of her Pokemon find out they are smarter than her (ouch) and run off.
3 Paragraph RP sample of that character:

The day was a picture perfect one. The sky was clear, accented with fluffy white clouds. It was truly a sight to behold... if Akai was even paying attention. Her nose was buried in a map of Parallel Kanto, which she cleverly nicknamed Paranto, as she walked down the path, suddenly tripping over a Pokemon. With a slight yelp, she fell flat on her face, crushing her map. She let out a whimper, sitting up and looking around. She saw a little fox-like Pokemon, curled up on the ground.

"Oh... It's a Vulpix." Akai poked at the Pokemon. The creature's long ears poked up. It stretched and let out a long yawn, Eeeeeeveee. Akai rose an eyebrow, "Hmm... That's not what Vulpix says." She took out her PokeDex. Holding it upside, she moved it to the Pokemon.

"Eevee. The Evolution Pokemon. A rare Pokemon that adapts to harsh environments by taking on different evolutionary forms..."

"That's not how you pronouce Vulpix." Akai mumbled to herself. Eevee poked its head up, "I'm not a Vulpix, you boob. I'm an Eevee!"

"Wha-? Who said that?" Akai looked around. She turned to a tree, "Was it you?"

"Down here! The Pokemon! Hello!"

"Hello~!" She smiled, "...Oh, wait! Pokemon can't talk!"

"I can." The Eevee grinned.

"No you can't!"

"I can!"

"You can't!"

"Do you see my lips moving? And hear words coming out?"

"...Yes."

"THEN I'M TALKING!" Eevee snarled. Akai stumbled back, "Wahh! Rabid Vulpix!"

"I NO VULPIX. I ARE EEVEE!" The Pokemon jumped to Akai. The trainer screamed and ran off, "Help! There's an RV chasing me!"

"It's Eevee!!" The little Pokemon lunged forward and Tackled Akai in the back. Both trainer and Pokemon tumbled forward and roll down the grassy bank into a shallow stream. Akai screams and thrashes in the four inch deep water, "I'm drowning! I'm drowning!"

Something warm and wet was on her face as the stream and surrounding area faded away. Akai woke up, on the spot where she went splat before. The Pokemon she'd tripped over was near her, licking her face, seeing if she was okay.

"...Eevee... not Vulpix." Akai moaned, sitting up. The Eevee nodded, giving Akai a huge smile. The trainer picked the Pokemon up and petted the soft fur, giggling a little. "I had the weirdest dream... You were evil." Akai walked off, Eevee in her arms. The little Pokemon looked over the trainer's shoulder, giving a dark grin.

Appearance: Brandon is a little short for his age. He's about 5'2 and he weighs around 110. He has tan colored skin, and has black thick hair. (..is that enough? xD)
Brandon is very spunky. He always has something to say, and never backs down from fights. He tries to do what's right most of the time, and he always perseveres. :Attitude

The sun was shining brightly, and Brandon had his Vulpix by his side. "Vulpix! Vulpix!" Cried Vulpix. Brandon looked down at her and just smiled as they walked to Professor Kao's lab. "We're gonna see this new device that Professor Kao has made, Vulpix!" Brandon went into this pocket to find a small sphere white and red ball. He pressed the button in the middle which made the ball bigger. "Vulpix! Vul!" Screamed the little fire creature. She didn't want to go into the Pokeball, but she had no choice. "Vulpix return!" Said Brandon. A red beam came out of the ball and went straight towards Vulpix. She turned red, and then the beam went back inside the ball.

Brandon arrived to a big building at the end of the room. Brandon went through the big glass sliding doors and say Professor Kao. "Hello As- Brandon!" Professor Kao exclaimed. "Welcome to my lab! Now what are you doing here?" Brandon started to say, "You told me to come here, for you new invention, remember?" Professor Kao face changed immediately, "Oh- Oh yes! I remember now!" Professor Kao went into the back of his lab and pulled out a red device. "Here is my latest invention, the Pokemon Dexter!" Brandon took it out of his hand and opened it. "Welcome trainer, I'm the Pokemon Dexter, and I'm here to inform you in all the Pokemon in the world today!" The little device stopped talking and Brandon closed it, "Um, Professor, why don't you just call it the PokeDex, for short?" Kao looked at him in amazement. "What a great idea, As- Brandon!" Brandon didn't want to seem modest so he just smiled, "Thanks, Professor!"

Misha M. Moosiq :Name

Age: 13

Female :Gender

Appearance: Misha has an innocent, joyful look to her. The tanned girl has clear skin with only one pimple popping out where her hairline meets her forehead, but other than that she is acne-free. She's got round brown eyes (with glasses to boot) that make anybody want to believe, with thin lips and curvy lashes. Her wild-woman, curly, black hair is adored with a huge blue bow that's absolutely adorable. For clothes, Misha usually wears skinny jeans or LuckyBrand jeans. She wears mimiskirts every now and then, but she usually wears them with vivid tights underneath. She had a wide variety of graphic tank tops with musical images on them, and she has two jackets with the G clef posted neatly on the back of it in grafitti. The teenager usually wears Blue/Yellow Vans. She has a quarter-note-shapted pendant that hangs on her neck in a silver chain. She also wears a blue bandana on her neck, over her chain, like a scarf. Her matching items and clothes look good together.

This peppy teen stands tall at five foot and 6 inches, and looks good with her matured, curved shape. She weighs 132 pounds, slim for her height.

Misha is a person with a complex attitude-she cannot be described within a few words. Her attitude changes every few minutes based on the smallest things, such as music or mood of the situation she is in. In the time periods when her mood is "normal" she is happy and helpful. However, she is also competitive and determined. She is a hardy girl who will always lend her help for people or Pokemon, and she believes in good morals and actions. :Attitude

History: This girl's life started at 4:00 A.M. in the hyper town known as Celadon City. There, Misha grew up with loving parents and a hearty family. As she grew and turned into a complex person, she advanced her love of music and art. Music, which became important to her, became a type of lifestyle-her attitude changed with music, she learned from songs, and she loved to play her flute. She attended Celadon Pokemon School, which she graduated from with flying colors and heightened intelligence.

At the age of thirteen her brother came back to Celadon from the Sinnoh Region, Pokemon League trophy in hand. Her brother then explained to her that he had become the champion in that region, and further he explained what "Pokemon" were. As a love for Pokemon burned in the family, Misha begged her parents to let her go and become something great in the Pokemon World.

With depressed faces, her parents finally said yes. From Celadon City, they contacted Professor Oak and requested a Chatot for their "little girl". Seeing as their daughter loved music, they thought she would fit perfectly with Chatot. Professor Oak said yes, and sent his grandson on a Pidgeot to bring the girl to Pallet Town, where she would receive that starter.

Misha now starts her own Pokemon adventure, fire burning in her eyes. She wants to learn more and become friends with Pokemon, but her main goal is also to win the Championship in the Kanto League. She wants to beat her brother.

3 Paragraph RP sample of that character:

Let's sing about this girl, big brown eyes and colorful outfit, sitting in front of the fire with her Chatot. The darkness of the dying light swirls around the duo, the shadows of the big elm trees trying to suffocate them. The threat of the eerie darkness fails, for the duo are together, and although they are young they have been friends for too long to be frightened.

"If you're going than go, go, go, go..." Misha sings out, letting her beauitful vocals get lost in the tangles of the trees. Her Chatot joins her, slapping down his pointed tail in perfect rythm - he is the metronome of the group, the girl the singer. Trainer and Pokemon work perfectly together. They are always like this, singing out at random and enjoying the way they tie together exactly, like a blue and yellow thread for a quilt. Speaking of quilt, the girl finally settles down and wraps herself with one that she sneaked from home. Long, long ago, sweet Celadon City...

"Good night, Chatot. And don't worry about today-we'll get that gym badge one way or another," she lets her soft voice surface into the toasty night air with a smile. True, they had failed at the Gym Challenge, but Misha thought it more of a success. She had remembered all moves of the battle, why Chatot's special move Chatter missed at the wrong moment...a little bit of elbow grease and they would be working right up back to the top again. Just a little bit of hard work and that Gym badge would be theirs...

Chatot snuggled into the warm quilt next to his master, getting comfortable for a moment before closing his large eyes. "Sweet dreams," he croaked in his parot voice before succumbing to the effects of a long day. They had lost the battle, but there was no way they were going to lose the war against Sabrina with Misha's determination. That was why Chatot loved his trainer very much, counted on her for whatever...

Their soft snores floated into the summer night sky as they slept.

Stephanie (Steph for short):Name

Age: 15

Female :Gender

Appearance: Stephanie is one of those girls who like to dress up all girly. She wears a tight, bight pink T-shirt, with a plain, white vest over it. Her skirt is frilled at the end, and it is also layered. The color of it matches her vest. Her hair is dirty-blonde, and is always pulled back into a tight pony-tail. Her eyes are as green as grass, and a lot of people loved that color. The only athletic thing about her appearance is her shoes, which are pink, to match her shirt. Steph always lies about her height and weight, afraid people will judge her on those little things.

Having always a positive attitude, Stephanie is a very likeable person. She doesn't act the way she dresses; Stephanie is more of a tomboy. She would be the one to suggest to go hike in the middle of the night, thinking the moon would make it look fun.:Attitude

History: Stephanie grew up in the wonderful city named Saffron. It was there she took her first steps, made her first friend, and found out about her love of pokemon. While she grew up, her parents gave her everything she wanted, including her very own pokemon to watch over her. When she was seven, she learned how cruel the world could be. Stephane was walking around with her new pokemon, growlithe, when a couple of older girls saw her with her beloved pokemon. They didn't want to go and catch one for themselves, so they decided to steal one of their own. Within minutes, growlith was gone. She never saw him again.

She never wanted to be weak like that again, so that day, she decided she was going to become a trainer.


3 Paragraph sample:

Stephanie was so glad her parents actually said yes! She finally gets to go have her very own adventure. She had gone to see her grandparents in the little and quiet Viridian City, but her parents were with her the entire time. She got over excited, and Steph wanted to pack now. The problem was, she had no clue what to bring. I’m supposed to travel light, correct? But, I need half of this stuff in here! She looked around in her bedroom. It would be the size of the master bedroom in any normal house. She had so much stuff that Steph had to stack them into towers. This is going to be a problem.

She grabbed everything that she couldn’t live without. That was ¼ of her stuff. Then she looked for the stuff that she would go back into a burning house to get. Still too much. Finally, Stephanie eliminated everything she knew she would hate to carry on her back everyday. I can make this work. The thing she needed was a big, hiker backpack, which just so happened to fit everything essential. By the time everything was packed, an hour and a half had gone by. Hopefully I won’t have to unpack all of this at once.

“Dad, I have everything packed for my journey!” Her father came out of the living room and laughed at the sight he saw. His daughter, wearing all pink and white, hair as high as it could possibly go, carrying a huge, dark backpack that was obviously a hiker’s would definitely be on the list of something you don’t see everyday. “Did you pack half of your room?” “No,” she screamed, “these are the things that I will need, wherever I go!” “If you have everything you need, where’s your pokemon then,” he asked her curiously.
