Getting a Wireless Adapter for WiFi

I'm getting a cable internet connection soon and I was wondering what the best way to get some kind of WiFi connection was.

SR and I were talking a few days ago, and he came up with the perfect solution... but they don't make it anymore. v__v So, I was wondering if anyone has suggestions.

PLEASE POST IF YOU CAN HELP.

Couldn't you just get a wireless modem. I'm not a computer whiz but I'm pretty sure that would work. Not sure how much they cost though.

They can cost a pretty penny. In my house we have both, but, what can I say, my Mom lives on the internet (she's been coding since the 80s).

Maybe I should ask someone at a computer shop or a game shop.

I use a nintendo Wi-fi USB connector, it's cheap and it works for both DS and Wii...
