Pokemon Nickname Game!

This is a simple and fun game. Try not to spam. All you're required to do is talk about Pokemon and nicknames to name them. This is similar to a chat, but the topic must remain about Pokemon nicknames. Try to be original. They can be good ones you named a Pokemon, one of your PokeBattlers, or one you just really liked. Also try to put an explaination behind the name; sort of an origin.

Once, I nicknamed a Cyndaquil Evan.

Reason: School was cancelled because of a hurricane threat. I got bored, so I restarted Gold and named my starter Pokemon after said hurricane: Evan. Of course the cancellation was a joke, since nothing happened. xD

Reason: An absol can predict an incomming omen or natural disaster.... their premonition of the future is usually destined to happen.....

I nicknamed Akai's Ludicolo Tango cause it's a dance, and Ludi loves to dance. It matches his personality too. Tango sounds fun, so Ludi is fun.

Teddiursa

Nickname: Jade (if shiny)

Reason: a shiny teddiursa has green fur... *cuddles my own shiny teddiursa* the cresent on it's forehead brings back a rememberance of the folktales of the "Jade Moon".

I used to use Regirock, Regice and Registeel a lot. So I named my Blaziken Regifire, my Rayquaza Regidragon, my Groudon Regiground and so on...

Pokemon:Mew

Name: Little ditto

Reason: well, after getting my mew from Toys R Us, I used the move 'Transform' alot. So much, that I would usually run out of PP. So, one day, I noticed how I used mew so much like a ditto. And that's why I named it little ditto.

Reason:It has a tritan on it's head reminding of King Neptune's Tritan.

i had 3 grumpigs name little piggie 1 little piggie 2 and little piggie 3
and i named them that because i used them in battle tower and my first one always died my second one died with taking some with them and the 3rd one never died
so it was like the 3 little pigs

Nickname: Dedede
reason: King Dedede from Kirby's Dream land is a giant Penguin who thinks he's the king of dreamland...
since Empoleon is named after Napoleon, a self-proclaimed king, just like Dedede, the name seems to fit rather well...

Nickname: Sunshine

Reason: My eevee loved the sunshine. Whenever it was sunny, she would go outside and sleep in the sun. She is afraid of the dark so when it became night, she always slept near me. So, I named her sunshine. One day, She evolved while sleeping in the sun. She became a espeon.

Pokemon: Umbreon

Nickname: Gibbous

Reason: Umbra's name comes from "Umbra" or the dark side of the moon. Though a moon waning from sight by the umbra may bring a loneliness in the night, a gibbous shows that one sliver of moonlight that shines.... An umbreon may appear to be dark and sinister like the dark side of the moon, but deep down there is still a sliver of light still left in them, which is illuminated by their glowing ring-like spots on their pitch black fur....
