Seafina Bay's Rangers have a problem. Strangely strong storms and Pokemon attacks threaten the peaceful beach resort. Somewhere, out there, in the ocean, is a great darkness. Team Rocket, lead by Giovanni, are looking for the great Beast of the Sea. They succeed in capturing a baby, using it as bait to lure the mother in. The mother is the cause of these storms, causing them in anger. The Pokemon attacks are a result of them fleeing from Lugia. Can the Pokemon Ranger of Seafina Bay help Lugia and reunite it with its baby?

History: Jo spent her whole life at the beach. She idolized the Pokemon Rangers in her area. Winning 7 of the 9 Junior Ranger Games, she was a shoe-in for an official Pokemon Ranger spot. She applied and got the best scores of anyone else. She's now the leader of the Seafina Bay Pokemon Rangers.

History: Kai was a troublemaker for a good part of his early teenage years around the beach, that is until the law caught up with him and set him with an important decision, either to clean up or face even worse penalties. He took the route of least resistance and with time, has become a decent ranger around the area and although slow to pride his position, hopes to help out in any way that he can.

History: Kelan was born on an island isolated in the middle of the sea, so he was a water baby. He was raised by his uncle who was a researchers. His uncle was gone most of the time so he left Kelan at home with his many Pokemon. Kelan grew up with a passion of helping Pokemon and he soon found the path of being a Pokemon Ranger. As he left to become a Ranger he met many great role-modles and that made his decision solid. Never forgetting where he came from Kelan never strayed to far from the sea for too long.

History: Chelsea had always wanted to become a trainer. But when her brother left to go and start his journey, she decided that she didn't want to copy him. She learned later on that there were other things to do, and she found that she might like becoming a ranger. Helping was something she loved to do, and she also loved the water, which was where the only spots were located near. It was the only thing she wanted to do, so Chelsea decided to give it a shot.

History: Zach's father was also A pokemon ranger, he saved alot of pokemon and passed on his legacy to Zach. Zach was overjoyed to become a pokemon ranger. He uses his Charizard to fly over the water for an aerial view of the water. He enjoys surfing atop his Milotic.

Several Wingull cry loudly as the sun rises over the horizon. The dewy grass sprang to life and warmed as the sun's rays slowly walked over the sands, hitting the water. Jo was up with the sun, training her Pokemon. Her Vaporeon sat in the sand, wagging his tail a little, watching a very energetic Sharpedo swimming fast in circles. Jo stood, watching as Sharpedo combed the waters, making sure its safe. Vaporeon cooed and walked to the water, joining Sharpedo. Jo smirked, tossing in another PokeBall, releasing Tentacruel, letting all her Pokemon enjoy the morning.

Kelan watched has his leader was up already on the beach training her Pokemon. Giving a grin he strutted down towards the beach along with Mime Jr.
"Morning pal." Kelan smiled. Reaching in his pack he took out two Pokeballs. As his feet grew warm in the hot sand he threw out his Pokemon.
"Corsola, Horsea! Come'on out!"
The group was now full and they were ready to train. "Go ahead and get in the water. Go see what the others are up too." Kelan smirked.
"Mornin'!" He shouted towards Jo's direction.
She glanced to him, flashing a smile, but returned to watching the horizon. There was something wrong. It seemed like the perfect day, but Jo's spent her entire life at this beach. She felt something off... something wrong. She shrugged it off as nothing, and hoped it was. Without that feeling, she felt a little joyful and went to her partner, "Good morning. You're up early... Any reason?"

"No special reason." He grinned. "Just to spend some time with our fearless leader. You seemed a little off just then. Something the matter?"
Kelan yawned and streched his arms.
"I've lived here my entire life. For the past 15 years, I've come to this spot and watched the day start. I've memorized the waves and Pokemon that come on this beach. I know all the secrets of this bay... But today..." She heaved a sigh, "Something feels wrong. It doesn't bother me that it's happening... It bothers me that I don't know what. It may just be a storm. I could be overracting to nothing." She walked into the water, letting the waves lap her bare legs.

Taking off his shoes Kelan walked into the water. It was cool at first but then it warmed up. Remembering the deep sea water when he was a kid it made him smile, "Something does seem a little different with the water."
Bending down he touched the water with his hands, "Don't worry Jo, If theres something wrong we'll fix it."
Jo gave a nod. "Well... it's time to go back. It may not be the most glamourous job, but everyone needs a lifeguard." She inserted her fingers in her mouth and let out a shrill whistle to call her Pokemon back.

The morning sun doesn't necessarily drive everyone to waking, take Kai for example. The still-tired ranger slept soundly in the ranger post as he didn't leave the night before, his feet propped up on a desk and Bulbasaur on the ground, snoring nearly as loud as Kai. Unaware to the world right now, Kai simply shifted in the chair and pulled his hat over his eyes, shielding them from the bright morning sun, hoping no one would disturb his peace.
She withdrew her Pokemon, turning the Kelan, "Don't be long..." She walked into one of the Ranger huts, staring at Kai, "...You're a lovely example. Kai! Wake up."

Kelan looked towards the Ranger huts. Kai, he grinned.
Taking out his pokeballs he withdrew his two water Pokemon and picked up Mime Jr. who was happily singing.
"Lets go see what the others are up to." Kelan smiled.

Kai heard Jo and simply shifted in the chair, covering his ears and trying to ignore the demand for him to get up. "Not yet...I need sleepy..." He groaned. Bulbasaur managed to open one of its eyes, but simply drifted back off to sleep. Within seconds, both of them were out again...
She smirked, taking out a PokeBall, "Vaporeon... show our friend what should be done." Vaporeon cried out, jumping to the desk. He sprayed Kai with a cold mist of icy water.

As he was hit with the icy cold stream of water, Kai was shocked awake and could do nothing but tumble backwards as his seat gave out from underneath him. "Gah!!! Its cold!!!" He screamed as he fell to the ground. Kai's Bulbasaur snapped awake at all the commotion and blinked curiously.
"What on earth was that for??" Kai yelled.
"You're suppose to be an example... If you cannot, I can dismiss you for more training." She withdrew Vaporeon and walked back out, onto the deck, looking out on the ocean. Soft bubbling of some Krabby came from under the Ranger post. She went to the rail-less edge and sat down, swinging her legs off. She combed the sand with her eyes, seeing a few Hippopotas playing by some rocks. Sand suddenly sunk into a sinkhole when a Dunspare drilled its way up, only to look around and burrowing back down.

"An example?? But I already did all that training and all that time setting things right after my hearing and you're threatening to send me back?" Kai said in frustration, grabbing a towel to dry off. "Come on Jo, I stayed here all night...I didn't move and I was tired...gimme a break." He growled, wondering if she could hear him still.
"The things you have to do to make things right..." Kai muttered under his breath.
"Kai!" She yelled from outside, "Don't you dare do that again!" She looked at him, "I am the Leader. Don't go against my will."

Kai sighed a bit and nodded his head, "Alright, whatever...I won't do it again, sorry..." He said ashamed. "So what's the news? Is anything up this morning?" Kai said, quickly sidetracking the subject.

Kelan finally reached the post where the other two rangers were.
"Morning Kai." Kelan waved.
"Mime!" Mime Jr. copied.
"Beautiful day isn't it?" Kelan grinned toward his fellow rangers.

Kai turned and saw Kelan, "Oh, hey Kelan...Yeah, I suppose its a nice day." He replied, still feeling a little stung by Jo's reaction to him. Kai's Bulbasaur jumped off the desk and interacted with Mime Jr. "Bulba..Bulba-saur!!" It cried happily.
"So what have you been up to Kelan? I don't know how you both get up this early." Kai stated with a chuckle.

"Just been out for an early session of trainning." Kelan grinned. "And plus Mime here woke me up."
The day was just beginning and there was something odd in the air, but Kelan just smiled on.
"How're you doing bud?" He smiled at Kai.
Jo watched the horizon, suddenly jumped up, "Kai! Kelan! Out here now!"

Kelan looked out the door and nudged Kai, "Somethings wrong. Come'on!"
He ran outside to see Jo staring off into the distance.
Jo watched through her binoculars, "Gyarados... and a lot of them. Something attacked them. They look really angry."

"Let's get ready..." She ran to the beach and released Sharpedo.

Kai sighed as he heard Jo call for them again and alowly moved behind Kelan to see what the ruckus was about. "Say what? Who or what would be dumb enough to attack that many Gyarados?" Kai asked in a bit of shock, overhearing what Jo and Kelan conversed about.
"This won't be fun..." Kai muttered to himself, a little nervous about the now enraged water pokemon.

Kelan patted Kai on the back giving him a little comfort. "Don't worry, we'll be fine." He grinned.
"Lets get this started!" Kelan shouted running towards the shore. "Corsola! Come'on out!"
The little crimson-grey pokeball let out a bright lighting flash and with the pink and white coral pokemon after.
"So...what's the plan?" He smiled looking off in the direction of the Gyarados.
Jo scanned the Gyarados. "...There! That one. Do you see that one with the scarred face. That's the leader. If we can calm that one down, the others should calm down as well." She ran to Sharpedo and jumped on his back, "Let's go..."

Kelan ran back towards the docks and grabbed his little board platform. It was a platform used in the Altamar water races and it was a useful tool. He asked his uncle to find him one long ago and he got a custom made one. Tying a rope around Corsola he hopped on and they were ready. "Heh...calm a inraged Gyarados...that'll be easy."
"Kelan... just make sure they don't attack the beach, kay?" She kicked Sharpedo and sped for the leader.

"Sure thing." Kelan nodded. "Horsea come'on out lets do this!"
Out came his little sea horse, cheery as ever. "Becareful. Stay close and don't wander off."
Looking out towards Jo he shouted, "Becareful out there!"
He commanded Corsola to swim around close to the shore making sure no Gyrados were near.

Kai frowned as the two went into action and he simply called out Razor, "Alright, Kelan...I guess we'll spread out and make sure they don't mess with the beach then?" He asked. "Jo will get the job done out there, I'll get people away from the danger..." Kai muttered.
"Razor, C'mon!!" Kai cried, taking off moving to let out a warning to everyone, and moving people away in case of attack.
Jo sped for the pack leader. She jumped to the large Pokemon and climbed to the top of the Gyarados. The monster thrashed with her on top, slamming into another Gyarados, crushing Jo between them. The ranger gave a gasp, going unconcious from the attack. She lost her grip and slipped, falling into the swirling water, getting pulling to the depths by the raging Gyarados.

"Jo!" Kelan shouted from the shoreline. "Kai! Jo's down!"
Panicing Kelan started to swim towards the Gyrados shouting back towards Kai, "I'll distract them, try and find Jo!"

Kai quickly looked back to Kelan and winced in nervousness. "Oh boy...Alright, I'll go and find her..." He said nervously. "Come on out Blaster!!" Kai cried as he tossed his pokeball out, revealing his Wartortle. Kai then jumped in and grabbed onto its shell, grabbing rope before he took off. "Let's go!!" Kai cried, kicking along with his pokemon.
"Hold on Jo, I'm coming!!" Kai yelled, hoping she could hear him.
Sharpedo surfaced with Jo on his back. She was out cold, spitting up sea water.

Kai panicked at this sight and quickly lead himself and Wartortle over to Jo's now lifeless looking body. "JO!!" He cried out, trying to transfer her over to the back of Wartortle, all while looking out for the rampaging water pokemon. "Come on..." He growled, pulling Jo onto Blaster and looking back to Sharpedo. "We need to get back to shore Sharpedo!!" Kai yelled out, beginning to kick with Wartortle in that direction.
"Shar... pedo." He swam to the Gyarados, firing an Ice Beam at them, trying to calm, or at least slow them down.
