On the 3rd gen. games the move hidden power was it a all physical move, or a mix of both physical and special moves and if so, what are the types that are physical and special?

I think it was special though I'm not entirely sure myself.

Right, and what I said still applies to any attack, even though the original poster was wondering about Hidden Power. So then you could add the Normal type to the physical list.

So the types that you listed are correct or they not? also there was another move i couldnt figure out it was the self-blow moves do they really reduce the opponents defense when used?(both the 3rd and 4th gen.), Oh and why doesn't the move conversion1 work with hidden power(does it like be normal type when it reads hidden power too or the type of hiddenpower you have)
