Yellow remake, anyone?

They remade the original red and green, so why not a yellow remake. Personally i think a Yellow remake would own. If Gamefreak/Nintendo do make a a Yellow remake, i think these features should be included:

-Pikachu revamp (SFX, more expressions)
-Johto pokemon ( after beating the E4)
-Sevii Islands


Whats your guys opinion?

Well, personally, if they based a Yellow Remake on the remakes of FireRed and LeafGreen, then it's quite possible it will follow the storyline the same, holding minor differences.
E.g. Pikachu follows you, different pokemon in different areas from the others... etc.

Well, a yellow remake might take quite a while. I would imagine it might go along with the 6th generation, which is for the next system (SDS or ADS anybody?), and could include an entire 3rd gen remake, excluding a few of the games, and with a Yellow Remake addition. I still want a G/S remake, it will likely be 4th Gen or 5th Gen (if its 5th gen, please still be for the DS).

I agree with SR. I want a G/S remake. They've already remade Kanto, and all there is left to remake is Johto. I can't stand the horrible graphics on my Silver [I can't even get to the first gym before I have to turn off and my game is lost and I still can't stand it]. I'd prefer a Johto remake to another Kanto remake.

It'd be interesting to have a Yellow remake. But if we got one, I think it would be sexist for the male character to be undoubtly male. I think a female character would be nice for all the girls who <3 Pikachu!

Honestly though, if Yellow does happen, I don't think it'll happen soon. G/S should be remade, and then they might go back to Yellow, but they might not. They can't remake all the games; they have to push the franchise further and leave stuff behind.

It's not that I don't want a Yellow remake - it would be cool to act like Ash except with a female protagonist and graphics that we can actually appreciate - but I'd rather have a game where the region hasn't been remade before. We've already seen the new Kanto, but Johto still has sprites with 'dots' and horrible shading and color.

But anyway, making the game more like the anime would add to the familiar feel of the show but also give a new depth to the game. How the heck are you supposed to know when your Pokemon will evolve if it doesn't level up? When will it learn the move you know it will figure out eventually? So new strategies will have to be formed, adding more fun to the game.

that would make Ash 21 years old... He was 11 when he first got Pikachu.
And yes, I have a disliking for Pikachu that goes so far out that you couldn't reach it even if you traveled faster than the speed of light.

Ash has had Pikachu for five years, anime time, ten years for us. He's 15 now. Well, techinically.

Anywhoodle, a remade Yellow would rock my Frebreez-fresh socks! Mainly because I've been pining for Yellow for a while. I lost my old game to the mysteries of moving, and have missed my Pika. Plus, you get all tree starters. There'd be more advanced TR sprites too! Yay for TR!

But of course, what we want and what they make are two different things. During this lull while we're bored with D/P and waiting for Platinum, they'll probably make G/S for the DS, like they did with FR/LG while we were awaiting Emerald , if they even make another remake at all.

That would make me insanely happy. I want a G/S remake so badly right now. It's torturous. I mean, honestly. We need a remake for Johto now. And I'm probably going to have said this a million times before they actually make it. Everything else has been decently made, or in FR/LG's case, remade. We can now tell the difference between a sprite and a blob of pond scum. :P They need to do that for Johto, and then I won't have to bug everyone and their mother about it!!

Well, some hints from bulbapedia can be found here (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Gold_and_Silver_remakes). Its really fairly cool. I had already noticed a lot of them, but the one about in game data which allows trades from johto is one I could never have found.

I wish that they would make a G/S remake because it would be a lot easier than having to use FR/LG to find all the Jhoto Legendaries! This way you can focus on two different games.

I don't believe a yellow remake is necessary I would prefer a Gold and Silver remake. Although I would totally love it if you could get jhoto pokemon in the Fire Red and Leaf Green. I want an espeon on my Fire Red.

I like the idea of a new game similar to Yellow. I mean, with a Pokemon following you and you can't put it in a box and you can't evolve it, stuff like that. It should be one of the most famous Pokemon, like Eevee, or better yet, you would get to choose your starter like every other game. My idea of choosing a starter would probably be the same as Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, where you have a 3 Pokemon that you are allowed to capture, but you can only choose one. I think the best choices would be Eevee, Pikachu, and Munchlax since they don't evolve through level. I think it should be in Sinnoh.

A game like this would be really cool, in my opinion.

From what Nintendo presented at E3, I think a Yellow/Gold and Silver remake would actually be good. -_-

I was disappointed that Johto wasn't included in the FR/LG versions. I would have preferred that to the Sevii Islands. Johto desperately needs a remake.
EDIT: I think having your starter Pokemon follow you around would be good too, but I think it should be allowed to evolve. Also, having your rival battle you more would be good.
