It's almost here! The Twilight movie! I can't wait! This thread is for open discussion about the movie (which opens on 12, 12, 08) and about the books in general.


3speon and I kinda got into this in the chat thread, so we'll go from there.:p







I need Breaking Dawn. Like, now. No kidding. I want to read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse in a row today, but my sisters are reading Twilight back and forth... Poo.


Who's your favorite character? I love Edward, but then again, so does the rest of the female [and some of the male] population. And then Jacob's a werewolf, so he gets bonus points. But they hate each other. Not so good. We need brotherly love. <3



What do you think about the movie? I think they need to change Rosalie. She just... eh. But Taylor Lautner is a PERFECT Jacob. He's so adorable! :3 And Kristen Stewart is the BEST Bella ever. Robert Pattinson is a pretty good Edward. His crooked smile is beautiful. But what bothers me is the fact that they don't run really fast at all. They jump everywhere. If you watch a clip from where Bella is in the dance studio with James, she runs away and he, like, jumps and then flies through the air and lands in front of her. It's really weird. And there's another clip where Edward is trying to get on the bus, and he jumps/flies through the air, right over some chick's head, and lands in front of her and she doesn't even notice. I mean, what kind of mess is that?!

Ahahaha! I know that feeling. I've read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn already. It's absolutely adorable and slightly humorous. Edward gets Bella an "indestructable" car so she won't crash into anything or die. That's simply the "before she gets turned" car. I thought that was kinda cute! Edward and his overprotection. :p Robert's sexxxxxxy.


Hahahahah! Some of the male population. x] I think all the vampires are pretty bomb, especially the Volturi. They're tighter than a fat guy in spandex! <3 I can't say who my favorite character is, but I can tell you that if I lived in Forks, I would find Jacob in an alley and slap the silly out of him!



I think the movie is going to be hecka bomb. Kristen Stewart makes a good Bella from what I've seen. Edward doesn't look so serious, though. Like, deathly, "I'm going to get you a tank so you won't die!!!". He seems more playful, and in real life he does seem funny and cute. =3 Rosalie....I think they tried too hard. She's really pretty, but I don't think that anybody on the planet can be as beautiful as Rose is described. She still seems awesome, though. ^^ I think that all the other characters are well fit. And I LOVE Jasper's hair!! It's so awesome! Emmett's really cute too, like a chunky beaver, and Alice is just absolutely wonderful!! [/RanT]

Awwww yes. Very interesting, totally. And it's not just all about love and gush and fluff; the vampires themselves are amazing. The book has a very nice balance of what you want to read, and what needs to be read in order to make the story make sense.

I agree, SE. I read more than all my sisters and my mom combined. I'm constantly in a state of adventure, having been sucked into a new world by a book. And let me tell you, Twilight has effortlessly replaced Harry Potter on my list of favorites. And I was a Harry Potter fangirl for... hmm, I'd say most of my life.

I can't wait for Breaking Dawn and Midnight Sun, which is Twilight from Edward's point of view.

Remember the first chapter of Midnight Sun? O.O It's soooo long, and so informative! Edward has a lot to say, and he's always analyzing everything!

That reminds me of Jacob's say in the last part of Eclipse. I couldn't help feeling sorrow for him, especailly with Leah there pushing him further.

Oh, forgive me. ^^; Eragon is a really great book and Eldest follows it up greatly! I'm waiting for the third book to come out. I'm just saying that the movie sucks.

I got Breaking Dawn for my birthday. (love this series!) but at first I thought the twilight movie would suck, because i happened to see a pic of the dude playing Edward (It was without the movie make up) ad he looked really... ugly... then I saw him with the ake up and I said:
