The Pokémon Claim Game ^^

[Kaboom]

Here you can "claim" Pokémon. This is just for fun, but you can have something in your siggy to say you've claimed them.
Each person may claim up to six Pokémon, and each Pokémon and variety (ie male/female//shiny/normal) may only be claimed once. You can un-claim at any time.
For example, person A can claim a male Rattatta. Person B can then claim a female Rattatta, or either shiny Rattatta, but not a normal male one.

As for pictures, I'll give you a link to them when you claim them.

I seek lunar pokemon for my claims... they're my favorite. they should make a element called Lunar, and another called Solar. Dark seems too "evil" for Nightime based pokemon.

Well, Brandon PM'ed me with this suggestion, which I think is a very good one:
We should have a forum for battling with claimed Pokémon!

So, as soon as an admin is on, I'll ask them to do it.

And, if you must, I'll say yes to six Pokémon.

Thanks to the mods for updating the list for me - what with school I can't do it all the time myself. However, the Pokémon should be ordered in alphabetical order so that it's easier to see if a Pokémon has been claimed or not.

If we are going to do that idea, we need some banned Pokemon, like some tournaments have. I was thinking Legendaries, and Ubers, but it's up to you.

Well, I don't know. If it were going to be a tournament there'd have to be judges, and it all seems too complicated. I think people should just be able to have fun with their Pokémon.

I think a forum for battling with claimed Pokemon would be a good idea, but wouldn't it be a big role-play? We could save some space and have it as a sub-forum in the RP section. Or we could just make an RP forum and have these as subforums.

There would be four main sections of the RP forum. If you want to battle for fun, there's a sub-forum for that. We have a sub-forum for a real role-play thing that's based on the Pokemon games, battling for money and 'tokens' of victory like badges. Then we could just use the forum itself for storyline role-plays [Save the Elements, Rescue Teams, Defeat Team Galactic, Giovanni's Revenge, etc.]

We could also hold a tournament in the last subforum. We would only need one judge, who would be the host(ess)/referee and who would keep track of who's battling whom.

There would be a general battle, where anyone who wants to join will partner up with someone else. Example:

Nytz vs. 3speon
Pokemaster vs. cel3bi
Akai vs. Kaboom
Shiny Raichu vs. Brandon
Yo Shee vs. Shiny Espeon
Blaztro vs. Blaziken
Catty vs. Charizard9999
lara_angel_of_fire vs. HobbesI

Then, we'd pit winners against winners. [And if the losers want to battle each other for tactics and practice, they can do that too.] Example:

Nytz vs. cel3bi
Akai vs. Shiny Raichu
Shiny Espeon vs. Blaztro
Catty vs. HobbesI

Then the semi-finals, where the real battling comes into play. Example:

cel3bi vs. Akai
Shiny Espeon vs. HobbesI

And last, the finals. You really have to put your best foot forward here, because this is what really counts. Example:

Akai vs. Shiny Espeon

These are just my ideas, my two cents, if you will. I recommend that everyone who wants to enter the competition should read this thread so they know everyone's claimed Pokemon and can form tactics and strategy around that.

Hmm... well, different colored Pokemon aren't different from regular ones in terms of battling strategies. It should be alright to enter a recolored one. But maybe to please everyone we could limit it to two or something.

That's not why I'm asking. Kaboom has it either male of female and/or shiny or non-shiny. If special Pokemon are accepted, you can have ten male Pikachu, all with something different about them.

I would think it could be counted as shiny, since shiny are defined as Pokemon of a different color. They didn't say which color. =nod nod=

Yeah, I know. She practically lived on the computer looking at Marriland videos for a week when she played Pearl, and now she's doing it again. She restarted because now she "knows it'll be easier with Chimchar instead of Piplup". x.X And she's constantly asking me for advice. I didn't use walkthroughs or Action Replay like she wants to. I had absolutely nothing to help me except the type match-up chart in my Emerald guide and the instruction booklet that came with the game. Why can't she do that instead of clinging on me like I'm her life support?
