Platnium and Ranger - Some Updates from Serebii

Yeah, not original news, since all this is from Serebii. I add my stuff in RED, so it should be a little easier. If it's not in red then it's credited to Serebii.

First up, two pre-release pictures that Serebii had. They contain the once-blurry Cyrus in front of Giratina, and then the slightly new trainer battling the origin Giratina. Not only will Platnium be the third installment of the Sinnoh Region, but it looks like we will be delighted with a new look, a new style, and a new journey.

The next thing (doing this from memory) is a double screenshot from the sequel to Pokemon Ranger. It focuses on the Dialga and Palkai missions. I think I recall a Time Limit in catching one of them, but both stories had little to go on. But if you look closely, new Ranger characters, so yay. I was mainly interested in the pictures... since 9__9 a picture is worth 1,000 words.

... but what about the new G/S verson for DS?

There isn't a new G/S game for the DS, at least not officially.

And, the first D/P picture decrypts Cryus in front the winged forum of gratina, which is infront of both Dialga and Palkia, which would likely mean that the game will likely be more similiar to emerald, not Yellow or Gold (though I still want to see the ability to have a pokemon follow you, not just in amity square).

I hope this one gives you a more third person view than the bird's eye view like before. I like how they made D/P 3-D-ish, but they should really think about making different camera angles for a change.

That would be a change so large that it couldn't possibly be in platinum. However, they could very possible do it in the G/S/C remake (granted there is going to be one), imagine:

Awesome story line of G/S/C
Full Kanto Adventure
The additional islands
A full overworld view consisting of the Traditional View, a full 3-D First Person View and a full 3-D Third-Person View
And sooooooo....... much more!

Anyway, the Ranger pics look fake to me because the quality of graphics is poorer than the first one. I could be wrong, of course.

But we all know that's not gonna happen, since that's too much like making sense. with the graphics of the DS, they should be makin 3-D pokemon instead of sprites (like the Pokemon Stadiums for N64) and fully 3-D worlds.

As SR said, there's nothing official.... But like DragonBall AF, there is a good fan-based version of the game. It's just discussion though.

The form we know now is winged. =P

And you mean Yellow and Crystral, right?
Gold and Silver were the same game.

But on a side note: There are hints in the D/P games that will make people believe the GS remake.

1) The gold and silver PokeBall tiles on the PokeCenter floor
2) Jasmine herself
3) The guy who gives you the Happiny egg mentions Elm
