PokeTrainers: Save the Spirits!

I've had this idea for a while, wanting to do a FF out of it, but since that won't happen in a few months, I might as well host an RP with them. You can go to my archieve (http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/LittleRedCaboose/Pokemon%20and%20Trainers/) and find ONE picture (Pokemon and trainer) to be. I still have a lot of work to do, but I have an idea on what to do. (Sounds weird but go with it.) The story might be just another evil villain tries to take over/destroy the world.... or some kind of extreme PMD RP. I don't know. I hope to start as soon as tomorrow, so hurry, hurry, hurry. Set right up and pick a Pokemon.

(PS: Ignore the names that go with it, unless you're just really clueless and want that name. Those are for the FF that will probably never happen. Haha.)

Bio: One day he left home without anyone's knowing. Nobody knew that he had stowed on board a ship to Iron Island. Once there, he hunted for days until he finally found a Lucario: his dream Pokémon. He didn't capture it conventionnally. He approached it and befriended it. He learned the ways of the auras and trained under the Lucario. He communicated using his aura. Eventually, he returned, but he does not socialize with people, speaking little if ever. He is a proficient fighter and works cooperatively with Lucario.

Similar to PMD, you and your partner Pokemon attend an academy, trying to be the best. You have already been accepted, and this is now your second year at the school. You and your Pokemon have similar powers, but your Pokemon is the powerhouse of the team. (You=brains Pokemon=brawn) There has been a massive outbreak of humans turning evil and sucking their Pokemon's spirit into them, getting all the power. You must stop them!

There is legend of an area where this is most likely to happen. Your mission is to travel to this place and stop this. You have no friends, since everyone is assumed to be an enemy. Can you make it, or will the evil consume you and make you steal your own Pokemon's energy?

She was able to find and consume Giratina's spirit, taking all of its powers and abilities. (Pokemon) Attacks: Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Psychic, Flash
Bio: Alice and Magi have been together for most of their lives and are very bonded. Magi was raised from a Misdreavus, but when Alice found a Dusk Stone, she didn't hesitate to evolve her friend to help her in battle. With a raised Speed and Flash, Magi is almost untouchable. Alice is just as good. Both trainer and Pokemon have a strong bond and work well together.

The academy alarms ring. Trouble. A small group of the students gather together, those who weren't on missions. The wise old Lax and his Slowking walk to a high standing podium. "Greetings Friends... we have a grave dangerous mission for you. It seems that trainer, such as yourselves, are turning evil and..." He paused for a moment. "...stealing their Pokemon's spirits!" Shocked gasps erupted, followed by muttering. Lax continued, as Alice broke away from the crowd.

"How horrible..." She gasped. "How can this happen?"

"I do not know." Magi sighed, "You would never do that to me, would you?"

Alice gasped again, "Magi! No! I love you. I would never do that to any Pokemon. We're partners, and that means two, not one."

Magi nodded. "We have to stop this."

"Yes... Let's request to go." Alice said with determination.

[Kaboom]

Luke was shocked by what he heard. Stealing the spirits? How could anyone do that? Lucario was just as surprised.
Luke spoke to Lucario in their aura-communication
"I think we should go on this mission."
"As do I. There are some things that should never be done, and that is certainly one of them."
"That's a horrible thing to do, though."
"Indeed. This mission will be dangerous, however."
"Obviously. Whenever we're gathered together like this it's always a tough mission."
"Of course, there's also our reputation."
"Yeah, if we don't volunteer, we go down in the books."
"Go for it."

Luke waited impatiently for Lax to ask for volunteers, so that he might be the first up.

[Akai]

Lax slowly walked down from the podium. His Slowking follows. Alice runs up to him, "Magi and I have to go on this mission. Please! We can't sit around and let this happen." Lax looks at her, smiling, "Okay, okay... If you think you can handle it, that's fine, but you need to find another team. I plan to send in several two man-two Pokemon teams."

"Another team...?" Alice looked around, looking for a strong-looking team.

[Kaboom]

"We will go!" called Luke. "We want to uphold our honour, and fight for freedom and justice!"

[Akai]

"Luke? Pass..." Alice walked past him, "You can't spell fluke, without Luke, and I don't want to take any chances."

[Kaboom]

Lucario blocked Alice and said to her: "You may want to reconsider. May I remind you that your Mismagius has no attacks which can do much harm to me, whereas my ShadowBall will hurt, I can promise you. We come, or we shall go alone."

[Pokemaster]

Bio: At the age of 14, Kai ran away from home, accompanied by only a Shinx whom he named Static. Over the years, Kai and Static traveled until they reached the Academy. There they have stayed until the current day when he hears about the spirits...

Kai stood there, shocked. "How could anyone do such a horrible thing?! Pokemon and human have gotten along for centuries... Why change now?"

His Luxray looked up at him. "I don't know... It's not right."

Static hesitated for a moment, "Do you think we should sign up?"

"It may be worth our time. After all, we'll find out why they're doing this."

Static nodded. "You make a good point, however, there will be danger. It's not going to be easy."

"Yeah... I know. But we have to, Static."

"Okay. Let's do it then."

The pair of them walked over to Lax, where they saw Luke blocking Alice. "We'd like to sign up too."

[Kaboom]

Luke tried to calm Lucario, while remaining fiercely determined on the outside.
"Lucario, if Alice doesn't want us to go with her, let's let Kai go and work on this ourselves."
"I want Alice to change her mind, but if she doesn't, that's what we'll do."

Lucario stood staring straight at Alice.

[Akai]

Alice looked off, "How insulting, calling us weak. We have the exact numbers of accomplishments, and Magi and I don't have to talk with our minds like a couple of freaks." She looked at Luke, "No one here likes you because you distance yourself from everyone. You think you're so much better than everyone else, but you're not." She walked past Luke, Magi following her.

[Pokemaster]

Kai went after Alice.

"Hey. You alright? If you want, I'll partner with you."

He looked down at Static to see him nodding.

"I'm sure it'll be better than Luke. He was wrong to treat you like that."

[Akai]

She looked down to Static, "Hm. Luxray. Those are pretty decent in battle." She smiled, nodding, "If you want to, we can give it a shot. He looks fast and strong." Magi flew up beside her, smiling, happy that Alice found someone.

[Pokemaster]

Static was so happy he nearly barked with excitement. Little sparks of electricity ran over his body.

Kai smiled. "Calm down Static." Then he turned to Alice. "Well, I suppose we'd best go to Lax and register then."

He guided the now calm Static along with he, Alice, and her Magi.

[Akai]

Alice nodded, looking to Luke, smirking a little.

[Kaboom]

Luke and Lucario were furious, but they kept their expressions neutral.
"Come on, Lucario, let's go to our quarters."

They left the room and wandered the corridors of the Academy.
"Luke, we are going, aren't we?"
"Of course."
"It's like she said, we do distance ourselves..."
"And she blatantly pointed out we aren't better than everyone else."
"Well, that can have multiple meanings. Technically, in the context, it means we aren't better at socializing, which is quite normal."
"Yeah. Well, let's get our stuff and clear out."

Luke took his staff from his bedroom, and Lucario sharpened his spikes. They left via the window and walked calmly away from the Academy.

[Ooh! An RP! Could I join? Here, I'll post everything...]

Name: Belle
Age: 13
Pokemon: Bellossom [Nicknamed Lily]

Attacks: Magical Leaf, Mega Drain, Solarbeam, Synthesis
Bio: Belle and her Bellossom have been through a lot together. After rescuing Lily from a hungry pack of Houndour when Lily was just an Oddish, the two bonded and are now extremely close. Lily cannot learn many moves to fight back against Pokemon strong against her type, but she is very fast and easily avoids most moves. Belle lost her father a year previously, and Lily was there to cheer her up. Belle is still very upset about it, but Lily is always ready to make her laugh and forget her sad memories. Belle and Lily would do anything for each other.

Alice quickly got ready and went to Kai, "Are you ready? Time is running out."

[Pokemaster]

"Yes.. I believe so..." He looked down at Static, who was bristling with anxiousness.

"Maybe we should have let Luke come with us... We'll need all the help we can get."

[Akai]

"That show off? No way. He's a bad guy, Kai.... He'll run off and be the lone hero the first chance he gets."

[Pokemaster]

"Well, that may be true... Perhaps there's someone else here that we can team up with?" he suggested, scouting out the other teams.

[Akai]

"No!... Kai, you may not remember, or don't know, but Luke isn't a team member. There was one mission, him and four other went off to retrieve something. He was the only one who came back... About a week later, the others showed up, telling the story of how Luke ran off as soon as they got there and went it alone."

[Pokemaster]

"Well, then, forget Luke... Surely there's someone who can help us though?"

He kept looking until he saw one trainer and her Bellossom. "What about her?"

[3speon]

[Sorry... Here:]

After hearing the news, Belle turned to Lily and knelt to meet her small Pokemon's eyes. She was sickened by the thought of absorbing her Pokemon's soul.

"You know I would never do anything like that, right?" she asked Lily, concern evident in her eyes. Lily nodded fiercely, then said, "Bell. Bellossom, som, bell!"

Belle knew this meant Lily wanted to join a group, but when the two looked up, it seemed as though everyone had already paired up with a friend and their Pokemon. Belle noticed Alice, who she'd long thought of as a skilled trainer, with Kai arguing about Luke.

She motioned for Lily to follow her, and the two approached Alice and Kai.

"Um... hey, guys. Do you need someone else? Everyone got a team while we were talking, and we don't have partners... Could we join you?" Belle asked Alice.

[Akai]

"It's suppose to be a two-person team... but I suppose. Lax can make an exception." She looked off, "Get ready. I want to leave soon."

[3speon]

"Oh, thanks so much!" said Belle, ecstatic to be part of the team.

"It shouldn't take more than a moment for me to get ready. I'll be right back!" she called over her shoulder as she ran to her room, Lily close behind her. Shutting the door behind her, she quickly undressed and changed into a white copy of the outfit she wore presently. She'd heard that light-colored clothes were supposed to impact moods positively, and if she wanted to resist the evil afoot here, she'd need as much positive thinking as possible. Belle grabbed two white daisy clips from her vanity and exchanged them with the red ones she normally wore in her hair to match the flowers that grew on Lily's head, then pulled small white leis onto her wrists and ankles.

Checking herself in the mirror, she then proceeded to pack two shirts, a skirt and a pair of jean capris, a pair of flip-flops although she always preferred to go barefoot, bread from the cupboard that she used as a pantry, and a bottle of water that she had just filled in her pack. It was now heavier than usual and quite a bit bulkier, but she didn't mind.

"C'mon, Lils," she said to Lily, and flounced out the door with her Pokemon back to the auditory room of the academy.

[Kaboom]

Luke was listening to the conversations through the power of the auras.
"They're still arguing about us."
"I know. That is one of the negative consequences of a social life: inefficiency."
"Yeah. Look at us: we're already on our way to do this mission, and they haven't even finished talking about it."
"Concentrate on the job, Luke. We must seek one of these possessed Pokémon so that we may find the means to free them."
"Agreed."

Luke joined his power with Lucario, and they united with Nature. In this way, they could sense things a long way away. They stood, immobile, focussing.

[Pokemaster]

Luxray howled, bristling with impatience.

"Well, are we leaving now?" asked Kai.

He looked at Belle and Alice who both seemed to be ready.

[Akai]

She nodded, "Yes. I've told Lax about our three-person team, and he laughed. It was a good laugh.... Silly old man. Let's go." She ran off, with Magi following her.

[Kaboom]

Luke detected a disturbence.
"Lucario, did you feel that?"
"No. Where was it?"
"About ten miles in that direction."
"Yes... I feel it. It's something... unusual. It may well be what we're searching for."
"Let's go."

They set off towards the mountain range, heading for the disturbence.

[3speon]

Belle followed close behind Alice, but when Lily started to fall behind, Belle turned around, scooped her Bellossom up in her arms, and took off again after Alice.

"C'mon, Kai!" she called over her shoulder.

[Pokemaster]

Kai snapped out of trance he had been in and rushed forth.

'What was that feeling?' he wondered, but pushed it aside as he went with his new friends.

[Kaboom]

Luke was approaching the source of what he had felt. He ran with Lucario up the hill, and the disturbence grew clearer. Over the next rise, they stopped suddenly, for standing there was... a Zapdos. On the outside, he looked normal, but those eyes... there was something evil behind them. Clearly, this was one of the possessed Pokémon.

Without warning, a thunderbolt hit Lucario. He was taken by surprise, but unhurt. Clearly, the individual who was in control of Zapdos was quick to attack, and clearly unfriendly. Luke and Lucario were wary, since after all they were facing a legendary Pokémon, but they prepared themselves for a fight.

The Zapdos didn't give it to them. He looked like he couldn't be bothered, and flew off higher into the mountains.

[Akai]

The Zapdos let out a horrible cry and the skies got dark and thundery. A giant bolt slammed down near Luke and his Pokemon. From the surge of electricity, a figure walked out, "Hm... who are you?" His eyes shifted to Lucario, "Weak."

[Kaboom]

"Weak?" said Lucario, enraged. "How dare you? We might ask you the same thing..."

[Akai]

"I'm Duel." He held out his arm, making a sword out of lightning. "How attached are you to your human, Lucario?"

[Kaboom]

[[Wow, two weeks! lol]]

Lucario growled, baring his fangs.
"Luke and I are partners, bonded by forces far beyond your comprehension, I'm sure."

[Akai]

"Heh. My partner is inside me. How much closer can you get than that?" He rose in the air, surrounding himself with static, "Now! Prepare to die, trespassers!"

[Kaboom]

"But are you his partner?" thought Lucario. Not wasting time, and gaining the first move, he launched off a ShadowBall attack at Duel.
Luke lent help through their aura bond, providing Lucario with extra energy and power.

[Akai]

Duel swatted the attack away like it was nothing. "I did not say you could attack." He surged with a staticed fury, flying high in the sky.

[Kaboom]

"Oh, but I did," said Lucario, and he beamed a Psychic attack at Duel.

[Akai]

Duel yelled, exploding into several copies. One drop to the ground, grabbing Luke and flying off. The others gang up and attack Lucario.

[Pokemaster]

Seeing the showdown ahead, Kai rushed faster.

"Guys, do you see that? Something's going on..."

[Kaboom]

Lucario cried out as Duel grabbed Luke. It was unimaginably painful. It felt like Duel's hands were inside him, grabbing at his very soul, for that was how deep the bond between them went.

Using the anger to fuel his strength, Lucario let loose an AuraSphere at on of the copies. He had no idea which one was the real Duel, or even if they were all him, but he attacked relentlessly, making the AuraSphere as powerful as possible.

[Akai]

Duel laughed, planning on dropping Luke. A surge of telepathic power shot through his mind. His eyes went blank and his face was emotionless. "...Understood." He dropped Luke slowly and flew off, fast, going to a dark, cloudy mountain.

Alice gasped, "What do you see? Is it a Pokemon... or something else?"

[Pokemaster]

"No... It was different... I think it was one of those possessed Pokemon..."

[Akai]

"Possessed Pokemon? Let's hurry." She lifted in the air and flew with Mismagius.

[Pokemaster]

He nodded, getting on Static.

"Let's go boy!"

[Akai]

x_x You'll squish him! lol

Alice flew fast, coming up on Luke and Lucario, stopping. "....You."

[Pokemaster]

He followed, stopping a bit of a distance from Alice.

"What's she doing?"

Then he spotted Luke and Lucario. "Oh..."

[Kaboom]

Luke got up, groaning. Lucario was panting.
They recovered after a few seconds, and then Alice arrived.
"Us," responded Luke. "Took you long enough to get here. You saw that thing?"

[3speon]

Belle nodded.

"That weird Pokemon. It was possessed. Its trainer must have taken it over..." she said, her voice shaking slightly, "Are you alright?"

Lily buried her face into Belle's chest, frightened by this place.

[Akai]

"Luke. You disobeyed the Guild leader for the last time. I hereby put you under Guild arrest by me. You're not going anywhere without me."

[Kaboom]

"Oh, really?" sneered Luke. "That's gotta be, what, the third time that's happened?"
Lucario stepped forward. "Our duo's methods are not strictly by the book, but that is only for the better."

[Pokemaster]

Kai had had enough. He walked up to Luke, less than a foot from his face.

"You're coming with us, whether you like it or not. Guild rules." His voice was harsh, stern.

[Kaboom]

"Oh, it's Guild rules now, is it? I seem to recall the Guildmaster saying two teams would be sent. I now count four."

[Pokemaster]

"Lax approved because Belle didn't have a partner. Now you're coming with us. You might not want to, but grow up! You can't go on ignoring everyone all your life! You think you're so much better than all of us just cause you can mind read with Lucario! Well, you're not. Give it a rest and stop acting like a child!"

[Kaboom]

Luke looked stern for a moment. "Oh, we can do a lot more than that, I assure you. And you don't want to find out."

He stared at Kai for a moment, and somewhere behind his eyes there was something swimming, something ominous...

Then Luke was all smiles. "Well, if we're going together, we might as well get on with it. Who's leading this group?"

[3speon]

Belle narrowed her eyes, suspicious now of Luke.

"Why are you suddenly so happy? You were all ticked off just a second ago..." she said, scrutinizing him.

[Kaboom]

"What are you talking about? We were just annoyed at having been hurt by that Duel. So, who's designated leader? Or do we have to fill that role?"

[Akai]

"I'm the leader of you right now. Now, come on. You're staying with us."

[Kaboom]

"And where are we headed? Do we have a plan of action?" asked Lucario. "We may be under your command, but I have a vengeance to take care of."

[3speon]

"Let it go," Belle advised, "It's not the Pokemon's fault. First we get to the bottom of this, then we save the Pokemon and get its trainer taken care of, capiche?"

[Kaboom]

Lucario was going to pass a smart comment, but Luke caught his eye and he held his tongue. The pair lapsed into their usual silence.

[3speon]

"Alright, then, that's settled. Shall we go?"

[Akai]

"No... He's right." She sighed, "Kai, take Belle and go off. I'll stay with Luke. Two teams of two. Good luck. Luke, let's go."

[Kaboom]

Luke nodded and they followed.

"Luke, why did you stop me?"
"I don't like to admit it, but they're right. We can't just go rushing in and hope to win."
"But... Why are we following their orders?"
"We are for now. Don't worry, we'll get back on Duel. We'll free the Zapdos and any other possessed Pokémon. We will prove to them that we really are the best team."
"Ah, I get you now. Temporary cooperation, then make our move at the right moment and claim all the glory."
"And the Guildmaster's anger at disobeying orders."
"But deep down he knows that he cannot do without us."
"No, he wants to be rid of us, I think. He can't because we'd just do our missions ourselves anyway."

[Akai]

"Luke? Hey..." She snapped in front of his face a few times, "Wake up. Let's go. We're taking the East side of that mountain. The other team can take the West."

[Kaboom]

Luke jumped, then nodded and followed Alice.

[Akai]

(Erika? Wrong RP. I'm Alice)

She ran until coming to an open field. She scanned it, backing up a bit, "It'll be suicide to cross this. We'll have to go around."

[Kaboom]

Luke looked around, sensing with his aura.
"It is safe," he said.

[Akai]

"I'm not taking any chances. We're going around." She sighed and started the long, out of the way hike around the vast grasslands.

[Kaboom]

Luke just nodded and followed. He had sensed danger on the path around, but he didn't tell Alice. Let her find out for herself.

[Akai]

Magi hovered around, looking at Luke, "Don't mind her. She's a little uneasy about this place. I think she's afraid she'll hurt me by accident."

[Kaboom]

Luke was sure the Magi had sensed the danger too. He focussed on it, trying to identify it. The only thing he thought it could be was another of the possessed Pokémon.

[Akai]

Magi sighed, "How rude..." She flew back to Alice.

[Kaboom]

Luke was certain that a possessed Pokémon was further ahead, but he still did not tell Alice. She needed to learn for herself.

[Akai]

Suddenly a vine shot out and wrapped around Alice's neck. It tightened up and lifted her from the ground. Alice choked, kicking her legs frantically. A new team (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg146/pkmngijinkarefs/154_Meganium.jpg) of trainer and Pokemon walked out, "Hmm... intruders?"

[Kaboom]

Lucario was active in an instant, slashing at the vine to try to release Alice.

[Akai]

She fell, coughing violently. The new pair gasped, "Intruders!" They ran off. "Intruders."

[Kaboom]

"What was that about?" thought Luke.
"I don't know, but whatever it was, it wasn't good."
Lucario helped Alice to her feet.

[Akai]

Alice gasped for air, "...what.. happened?" She coughed up some blood.

[Kaboom]

Lucario spoke in her mind.
"You were attacked, somewhat violently. You will recover, but you should rest."

Luke also spoke, but with his voice. "I told you going through was safe."

[Akai]

"Shut up... I'm fine. Whoever that was is going to return with others. We need to move."

[Kaboom]

Luke nodded, and pointed across the field.
"That way is safe."

[Akai]

"I'm not going across!" She got up. "Let's just hurry around."

[Kaboom]

Luke sighed. He wasn't going to put up with this. He beckoned to Lucario and they ran across the field, arriving at the other side with absolutely no danger encountered. They waited there for Alice to arrive.

[Akai]

"Luke, wait!"

She was too late. Something launched itself in the air and slammed down in front of the two running across the field. With a snort, he looked up at them, "Well, well... what do we have here?" He laughed a little, cocking his head to the side, "Well? What are ya? Scared?"

[Kaboom]

Luke and Lucario approached silently from behind. Without warning, they concentrated their aura power to blast Sire with great force.

[Akai]

ooc: He was after Luke and Lucario, since they were running across.

[Kaboom]

OOC: Oops. Oh well, they attacked Sire face on, then!

[3speon]

Belle turned to Kai.

"Well, we'd better be off too," she suggested, glancing back toward where Alice and Luke had disappeared. She gave Lily a reassuring squeeze and started to the west.

[Akai]

ooc: Sorry, 3speon, you may be out of this RP. PM may be over with RP. Sorry. Find us, maybe?

Alice gasped, "Luke!" She ran to him, but webbing shot around her legs. "Ew... what is this?" More surrounded her.

Sire grunted, wiping his face, "Where you attacking? How pathetic."

[3speon]

ooc: 'Kay, I'll meet up with you in a bit.

Belle stumbled over another geodude, who grumbled to itself as it hopped away. She had lost Kai in the mountainous terrain, and it was taking its toll on her. She sat on a boulder, weary, and opened her bag. She pulled a canteen of water and a loaf of bread from it, and tore a bit of bread off for Lily. She took a swig of water, then offered the canteen to her Pokemon, who took it gratefully and drank deeply.

Looking around, Belle spotted Alice's mismagius, and knew that she had gone in a complete circle. Splendid. But Alice was falling to the ground. Belle couldn't see much, but she knew Alice was in trouble. She shoved the water and the remains of the bread back into her bag, scooped Lily up into her arms, and ran toward where Alice and Luke stood.

[Pokemaster]

Kai had followed Belle in the shadows. It seemed as though everyone were trying to leave him...

He raced alongside Static through the field, catching up to the others.

[Kaboom]

Lucario unleased a powerful Psychic attack on Sire, hoping that the type matchups that applied to Pokémon applied to the possessed ones too.

[Akai]

"Luke! Help!" Alice fell, the webbing pulling her into the forest.

[Kaboom]

Luke ran to Alice, and tried to see what it was that was pulling her. He grabbed her and pulled against whatever it was.

[Akai]

Webbing shot out and wrapped around him.

[Kaboom]

"Lucario! Help!"
Lucario fired a psychic blast to stun Sire, then ran over to Luke and Alice. He looked for the source of the webbing, protecting himself from being hit with psychic energy in his aura.

[Akai]

Several Ariados drop down, along with an older woman, "Wrap them up my pretties." Alice sunk her fingers in the dirt, "Luke... pull. We're outnumbered. Magi! Shadowball!"

[Pokemaster]

"We have to do something!"

Static growled, electricity bristling through his fur.

"Static, use Thunder on the Ariados!"

Lightning shot out from Static, launching at the Ariados.

[Kaboom]

Lucario now had a target, or rather several. He unleashed Psychic on three of them at the same time.

[Akai]

"Meganium, dowse them in Sleep Powder!" The girl from before shouted as her Meganium ran out and shook a fine pink mist of dust everywhere.

[Pokemaster]

Kai began to get drowsy. "No... they... can't.... " He fell asleep, as did Static, the two of them passed out on the grass.

[Kaboom]

Lucario resisted well to the Sleep Powder, but Luke was already weak and succombed to it. With his other half asleep, Lucario's power was felled, and he slept too.

[Akai]

Alice and Magi hit the ground with a big yawn.

Hours later, she woke up. "Hmn? Ugh... what happened?" She could only see Luke and Kai. She couldn't move, having sticky webbing around her. "Guys. Wake up!"

[Pokemaster]

Kai woke with a jump.
"What?!"
With a look at his surroundings, he added, "Where are we?"

[Kaboom]

"We are awake," said Luke. He and Lucario said no more. They were ashamed of their defeat.

[Akai]

"I don't know where we are... I think whatever attacked up has us captured." She heaved a sigh, "Let's just rest for now. I need to think."

[Kaboom]

Luke and Lucario made no attempt to escape. They knew that it would be futile. They remained where they were, immobile, silent, unhappy.

[Pokemaster]

"Wait... where's Static? And Magi? Why is only Lucario here?"

Kai sensed something wrong. There was obviously something about Lucario that was wanted.

[Kaboom]

Lucario explained telepathically. "We are bonded. We cannot seperate more than a certain distance. I was... dragged here by that bond. It was immensely painful."

[Akai]

"How sad Baby Pokemon can't be away from Dada." She smirked.

[Pokemaster]

Kai chuckled lightly. "Kinda pathetic..."

He heard a loud howl. "STATIC!"

[Akai]

Alice closed her eyes, "Hang on... Let me see if I can locate Magi. Static has to be with her."

[Pokemaster]

"Maybe..."

He sighed. Static and him had never been separated since he was born. They were always together, even in school.

[Kaboom]

Lucario snarled at what the other two had said. "You're so innocent, aren't you? Our bond is what makes us strong."
He stood up, the web binding him fell off.
Lucario stood for a second. "That was too easy..." he thought.

[Akai]

"Typical Team Loser... Too good for everyone else." Alice scoffed. "There's going to be a time when you need us, and we'll pull a Luke-Ario on you, like you do to us."

[Kaboom]

Luke stood up and the web fell off him too. It had dried and lost its stickyness. They looked around, and left, wandering the location to find a way out.

[Akai]

Sire gazed around, seeing Luke and Lucario. He let out a growl, running to Luke and grabbing him up, squeezing him tight, "How'd you get out?"

[Kaboom]

Luke's response was to kick Sire in the sensitive area, drop to the floor and run.

[Akai]

Sire growled, "One of the Posse escaped!!"

A few more Pokemon/Trainer teams rush to his aid. One was the Meganium and girl, "You're not going to take our Pokemon."

[Kaboom]

"We have no plan to," said Lucario before blasting them all with a rage-boosted Psychic attack wave. They continued fleeing.

[Akai]

They all yell. Sire growls, "We have the other two." He goes to them, snarling.

[Kaboom]

Luke and Lucario were running in all directions, searching for a way out.
"Lucario, the others are doubtless in trouble..."
"Leave them. They may succeed in escaping, they may not. We must find an escape path and seek a means to undo this terrible thing."

[Akai]

A little girl with an Eevee walked out, staring at Luke and Lucario. "Hello."

[Kaboom]

They skidded to a halt. They were cautious: it may be a trick.
Lucario sensed her aura. It bore no malice.
"Who are you?" he asked.

[Akai]

"I'm Eve... I'm lost." Her eyes were teary, having signs she had already been crying.

[Kaboom]

"Do you know anything about Sire and his allies?"

[Akai]

"Sire?... Oh! You mean Daddy. You know where he's at?"

[Kaboom]

"Your... father? He's back there... but..."
Lucario and Luke were confused.
"Why did he capture us and bring us here?"

[Akai]

She held her Eevee close, "He said that someone saw mean people close by. They take out Pokemon and make them do bad things."

[Kaboom]

"But why bring us here?"

[Akai]

"I don't know..." She looked at the ground. "Can you show me where my daddy is?"

[Kaboom]

Lucario glanced at Luke.
"I suppose so. This way."
They were extremely confused as they led Eve back through the corridors they had gone through.

[Akai]

She looked down at Eevee. Her Pokemon purred a little. Eve let her down and ran to Luke, jumping on his back, "Carry me!" She giggled. Eevee did the same to Lucario.

[Kaboom]

The two were surprised, but then they already were. They carried them without question.

[Akai]

Eve lay on Luke, "Daddy's probably worried about me. I miss him so much."

[Kaboom]

"He's only a little way away. Like just around this corner."

[Akai]

Webbing shot down and captured Eve and her Eevee from Luke and Lucario. Eve let out a scream, as she was taken away.

[Kaboom]

"This is getting ridiculous..."
Lucario grabbed Eevee, slashing at the webbing to free it. Luke did the same for Eve, tearing the webbing apart with his strength.

[Akai]

Eve let out another scream. The Ariados that attacked lowered itself, followed by its trainer. "Give me Eve. How dare you kidnap her!"

[Kaboom]

Luke sighed. "Eve, explain to this... personage... what we were doing."

[Akai]

"They found me and took me away. I want my Daddy." Eve squeaked out.

[Kaboom]

Luke and Lucario turned and stormed away. They marched to where Sire was and used Psychic to shout as loudly as they could. "What the heck is going on around here?! Who are you, what do you want?"

[Akai]

Sire turned around, "Eve...? How did you find her?" He growled. She reached for him, "Daddy!"

[Kaboom]

"Do you have a hearing problem or do you not like answering questions?"

[Akai]

"Give me my daughter back." He growled, powering up an attack.

[Kaboom]

"Does it look like we're detaining her?"
Lucario powered up his own AuraSphere, ready to defend.

[Akai]

Sire growled, stepping forward. Suddenly Magi appeared in front of Luke and Lucario, blasting them with a Psychic attack. Alice jumped in and grabbed Lucario, pinning his arms to his side, "Stop this. Both of you!"

[Kaboom]

Luke's mind was overthrown by the sudden Psychic attack.
Lucario whipped his arms out and pushed Alice back.
"Lay not a finger on me again, or you'll be sorry. Explain what is going on."

[Pokemaster]

Kai and Static appeared next, facing the danger calmly.

"Yes... explain what's going on, Sire."

[Akai]

Alice smirked, inching her finger close to Lucario. "I'm not touching you..." She danced her finger in front of him.

Sire held Eve, "You don't know?... Pokemon have started disappearing. They're being controlled by... her." He closed his eyes. "I saw one of them near you. I guess I jumped to conclusions."

[Kaboom]

Lucario pushed Alice away.
"Who is this 'her'?"

[Akai]

"...She is all power and things terrible. I haven't seen her. No one has, and lived. These were passed down through documents from those who were slain."

[Kaboom]

"Sounds like a good match for us. Where is she? I'm going to kill her for what she's done."

[Pokemaster]

Kai growled at Lucario. "Can't you hear?! He said no one has faced her and lived!"

[Akai]

"Not yet." Alice smiled, "If we lose a few members, like Luke and Lucario, it's no big loss." She grinned and shrugged.

[Kaboom]

"Oh, yes, you're hilarious. But, if we were to succeed, then what would be thought of us? So, tell us where she is, or where she might be."

[Akai]

"Deep within the spiral mountain." Sire growled low. "Don't go there alone. You won't survive."

[Pokemaster]

Kai lost it and swung at Luke, hitting him in the gut.

"Listen for a change! Don't you understand? These are trained professionals and they don't hardly stand a chance as is! If they don't, there's no way you will!"

[Akai]

"He's right, Luke. Please think. If one of you got seriously hurt, with your connection, it'll in turn harm the other. We all need to come up with a plan."

[Kaboom]

Lucario growled, wincing from the pain received through his bond. He threw a large AuraSphere at the ceiling, causing a huge shower of dust. Nothing could be seen through it.

When it eventually cleared, Luke and Lucario had gone.

[Pokemaster]

Kai glanced to Static, then to Alice and Magi. "Come on. I'm going after him. We can't let him get killed, Alice. It's against the guild's rules."

[Kaboom]

[[lol, against the guild rules to get killed? or to let someone get killed?]]

Lucario made sure the way was clear while Luke followed. They made it outside and quickly headed off in direction of the spiral mountain. There was no cover around them, so they would be seen from a long way off, both by their enemy and by Alice and the others. They hurried faster.

[Pokemaster]

Kai climbed on Static. He grabbed Alice and put her on in front of him, not risking the chance of her falling off. Then, the large catlike-pokemon bounded forth at incredible speed. Soon they were outside and could already see the duo ahead.

[Kaboom]

"They're after us."
"I know, Lucario."

They had reached the base of the mountain. Nothing bad had happened yet, but whether that in itself was good or bad remained to be seen. They began to climb the mountain.

[Pokemaster]

Kai and the others caught up to them. "What do you think you're doing?! Are you trying to get yourselves killed?!"

[Kaboom]

The pair ignored them, climbing higher to the summit.

[Pokemaster]

Kai slid off Static and went to Luke, pushing him against the mountain. "LISTEN FOR ONCE! YOU NEVER LISTEN! THAT'S WHY EVERYONE HATES YOU!"

[Kaboom]

Lucario shoved him back. "If everyone hates us, that includes you. If you hate us, leave us to our fate, and go back to your guild and hide away like the cowards you truly are."

[Pokemaster]

"To think... For once, I thought you weren't such cowards that you cut yourselves off from the outside world... But people like you never change... When you die, no one will miss you."

[Akai]

[[Catch up, then :p ]]

"We shall prevail, because we are motivated by the thought of mocking you when we're done. If we die, then we shall not be around to care if you mock us."

[Pokemaster]

Static growled, annoyed, and launched a Thunder attack at Lucario. Kai could feel the electricity bristling through the air as it whizzed past him.

[Akai]

[[Catch up, then :p ]]

Lucario was knocked back by the Thunder attack. He jumped back to his feet and riposted with an AuraSphere attack, thrown straight at Static.
