The New Galactic Order

<Story>
Several years after Cyrus failed at capturing Dialga or Palkia, he nearly went insane, abandoning his team, and hiding deep within Mt Corono. Sinnoh changed and Team Galactic was almost forgotten, until Cyrus came back, seeing his error. Now, instead of the universe, he needs to start with the world, with Sinnoh his first target. During his absence, several new Pokemon were discovered in Sinnoh. Not having any information on these Pokemon, he's planning to capture them and do tests on them, in order to find out what he needs.

Bio: Orcalot live in the coldest areas of the world. These Pokemon love to swim and hunt for fish. They make their clawed gloves out of scraps of metal from cargo ships they normally attack out of curiosity. Ocralot are extremely smart, some even speaking human talk.

Bio: Aerilord was created in a sinister laboratory. His creators did some tests on him, which displeased him greatly. He killed everyone in the laboratory and flew away. He is, as a result, extremely aggressive towards humans, and should be avoided if possible. When Aerilord flies overhead, the sunlight reflects off his body in a beautiful display of light.

Bio:

Vulturi are among an old, powerful species of Pokemon that have only been recently discovered by humans. Little is known about these ghostly and ghastly bats, but through many hunting expeditions into dark and deep caves, it has been discovered that these Pokemon are uncaring and clearly dissatisfied by humans. They shy away from our kind using many of their skills: illusions, sludge and venom, and what we lastly believe as their piercing red teeth.

We continue to research the Vulturi, although their kind lurk in the deepest of the unknown caves. We may someday hope to find more information on this remote Pokemon, including facts such as life span, evolution, and DIET.

Well, I could say that your "Pokemon" is a neopet; in which case, it is. Therefore, it is not an original Pokemon. That also means that my "enhanced" Zubat should also be able to be accepted.

Now, I might be able to splice something crazy, but even then, it would be a modified version of an already existing Pokemon.

Lastly, finding a picture of something I already made is absurd. To add to that, it would completely take away the creativity in which you implied here:

Bio: A rare Pokemon found in in darkened forests or feilds at night, they usually live in small groups. They are primarily herbavores, but have been known to eat meat if in need of food. They are generally very arrogant and like to berate others. However, if found in the light, they tend to become shy and self-conscience.

Over the last several year, Team Galactic was only a story that was slowly being forgotten. Sinnoh was growing into a vast land of wonder. Several new Pokemon were discovered in other regions, and some migrated to Sinnoh. In the depths of Mt Corono, a crazed man watched all this from his perch, hidden high in the jagged peaks. This man, once the leader of the fabled Team Galactic, is Cyrus. He had abandoned his team and life, hoping to find the answer on his one, and he did.

Being ever watchful, Cyrus saw a few Pokemon he'd never seen before, and was curious, 'Could these Pokemon be the missing piece to my puzzle? I must find out.' Over the last few months, Cyrus contacted some team members and returned to the depths of Corono, building an evil lair inside the caves and caverns of the mountain. With an evil smug look of sastisfaction, he sent his minions to do the dirty work of collecting the Pokemon he sought after.

The first few to be captured was a zebra-like Pokemon named Zeburro, and its evolution Zebronco. Next was the Farfetch'd evolution of Asburd. After several other Pokemon by the names of Calfier, Lizorn and Scarabuz, Cyrus was more near insanity, until something in the snow caught his eye. The new Pokemon was majestic and wonderous, moving through the snow with ease. Cyrus' evil groove was back as he commanded his minions to capture that Pokemon.

The chase went on for days, until the mysterious Pokemon was out of the mountains, onto the warm grassy ground. Such warmth confused the Pokemon, and momentarily distracted him as Cyrus' men tried to capture it. The Pokemon pulled back, growling a warning to, "Stay away" and ran off into the forest. When word of human talk coming from a Pokemon came to Cyrus, he simply replied, "Do whatever to bring me that Pokemon..." And so, the hunt continues...

Echo panted, running through unfamiliar territory. He stopped, looking around, 'Where am I?... And why is it so hot?' Echo's thick, coated fur kept in most of his body heat. He started to shed badly, leaving clues for his captors. He trotted to a shallow pond and sunk into it, smiling at the comfort, 'Cool water... At least I can rest... maybe.' He spent a few minutes in the water, coming out, only to run again, hearing his captors in the watery depths. Echo made it to a forest, happy to be in the cool shade.

[Kaboom]

Aero was flying majestically over the sea. He was bored of Johto, and had herad the whereabouts of Sinnoh, where lots of interesting things were happening. He flew over Mount Corono and was seen by Cyrus. Cyrus, already mostly insane, ordered Aero's capture.

"Well, this seems like a nice place, actually. I suppose I'd better find myself a place to sleep."
He banked sharply as he spotted a nice, comfortable-looking cave in the mountains. He landed inside the cave and terrorrized the hibernating Usraring. The Ursaring was somewhat disgruntled at being woken up, and tried to scratch Aero. It hurt its claws. Aero scratched the Ursaring back, opening a deep gash. The Ursaring howled and fled.
"Right, well that's got rid of him. Oh look, he's even got my bed ready for me. How nice!"
Aero settled down for a rest after his nine-hour flight.

Soon after, he was awakened by shouts. He sniffed the wind a little. Humans. Aero grinned to himself and went to find his entertainment.

"Look, there it is!" said one of the bizzarely dressed humans outside Aero's cave.
"Capture it!" cried the one who was leading the group.
'Hmm,' thought Aero, 'I wasn't expecting that. Maybe humans here are different to those in Johto?'
A black and yellow sphere collided with his chest, and Aero fought to resist the tug towards where it now lay on the floor.
'Yes, very different. I'm not sticking around here.'
Aero took off and entered the forest.

"Man, I'm thirsty. I wonder if there's a pond around here?"
Using his finely-tuned sense of smell, Aero found a shallow pond. Just getting out was a peculiar Pokémon, the like of which he had never seen before. The unfamiliar Pokémon fled.
Aero followed and joined it.
"Hey, hi! How's things?"

[Akai]

Echo glanced at Aero, growled and lunged for the Pokemon, sending out a fierce Slash attack. "Get away!"

[Kaboom]

"Whoa, hold up!"
The Slash hits Aero on his chest. Normally, it would have been without effect, but Echo's steel gloves left deep grooves on his armour.
"STOP! I have nothing against you. Please, stop attacking!"

[hizzy]

Meanwhile, not too far away, young Qib was walking alone, looking for some tasty ferns upon which to snack when she heard the sound of metal on metal, and it made her cringe. Her eyes twitched, her muscles tensed, and she grew very annoyed. What in the name of Arceus made that noise? her mind growled. She went to investigate.

She came upon two strange creatures she hadn't seen before. The big one had claw marks in its armor. Qib hid herself and watched the two interesting creatures curiously.

[Akai]

"Your tricks won't work this time!" He reared back his head, firing an Ice Beam at Aero. He hit the ground, and sprang off, resuming his running.

[Kaboom]

Aero narrowly evades the frigid blast of ice.
"Whoa! You're obviously uptight. Look, if you keep attacking those humans will hear us and be on us in no time. They obviously want to capture us, and we could benefit from working together rather than fighting."

[Akai]

Echo bolted through the trees, bursting out, skidding to a stop, seeing a large aircraft and many ground troops.

"There it is! Get it!"

Echo backed up, as he was surrounded by enemy Pokemon.

[hizzy]

Qib saw the humans. That white one was in trouble. She felt she should help. She looked at the pokemon surrounding him. She may not be able to take out all of them, but she'd be able to at least create a distraction to get the little one out of there.

She lowered her horn and charged at the enemy pokemon. Using a Horn Attack, she managed to take out two.

[Akai]

Echo watched the mysterious horse Pokemon gallop in and attack the humans. He wanted to join in, but he heard a human yell out, "Poison Fang!" Echo glanced to the voice, only to be wrapped tightly by an Arbok and sharp fangs plunged deep in his skin. Echo felt the poison filling him.

[Kaboom]

'This is my chance. If I help Echo out, he'll be less aggressive towards me'
Aero charged in and grabbed the Arbok by its tail, whirled it around over his head and released it. It flew true and hit three of the enemy Pokémon in one go. Aero glared intimidatingly at the remaining Pokémon. Suddenly, they weren't so sure about themselves.
The humans ordered a mass charge, which spurred them back into action. Aero found himself buried under a mass of enemies, but they got in each other's way and were unable to do much damage. Aero flew up high, turned over, and did his "dropping like a stone" impression. All of the enemy Pokémon who had jumped on him were well and truly crushed.

Aero went to Echo's side. He saw the bite holes where the Arbok had bitten him. The skin around it was already swollen. Aero went to one of the abandoned bags which had previously belonged to one of the humans, and eventually found what he was looking for: an Antidote. He carried it back to Echo and sprayed it on the bite. The swelling went down almost instantly.

"Are you all right?" asked Aero.

[Akai]

Echo looked up at him, his vision getting blurry. He blacked out, going limp, some of the poison already doing some damage.

[Kaboom]

'Drat, the Antidote wasn't strong enough. I gotta help him.'

Aero lifted Echo up and flew to his cave.
'I'll need a Super Antidote to heal him. I saw a town nearby, so maybe I can "acquire" some.'
Aero flew to Oreburgh, and entered the shop. Nobody tried to stop him when he took a few of the Super Antidotes. One doesn't generally argue with a big Steel Pokémon. Aero returned to the cave and followed the instructions on the Super Antidotes' packaging, using them on Echo.

[Akai]

Echo opened his eyes, "...Ugh." He turned over, on his belly, going to sleep.

[Kaboom]

'Well, at least he's not poisoned any more. I'll just let him recover.'
Aero sat at the entrance to his cave, watching for any humans.

[Akai]

Echo lay there, motionless for a while. His ears perked up, hearing a faint noise, "...Zubat."

[Kaboom]

As he heard Echo move slightly, Aero glanced at him. 'I hope he's all right.'

[Akai]

Echo slowly rose to his feet, stumbling a little. He shook his head, stretching. He felt the spot that was injected with poison and looked at it.

[Kaboom]

Aero went to Echo.
"Are you feeling better now? I healed you from the Arbok's poison and brought you here."

[Akai]

"Why did you help me? I did not request any."

[Kaboom]

"I... You looked like you needed it... I mean, come on, the Arbok had put you down with poison, and one of the humans was about to try to capture you... It felt like the right thing to do, that's all."

[Akai]

He looked surprised. "I'm not mad. It was just a question. The poison would have passed soon enough." He sighed, "I suppose you'll want something in return?"

[Kaboom]

"Well... there's not much I want that I can't get easily. The only thing I'd want is your friendship. We're going to need to stay together if we're to protect each other from the humans."

[Akai]

He nodded, "I agree. Those humans are evil and not to be trusted."

[Kaboom]

"Too true. I made sure they didn't see me carrying you here, but no doubt their Pokémon will sniff us out."

[Akai]

Echo nodded, "Where are we? Can we escape?"

[Kaboom]

"At the moment, we are in the middle of a mountain range that spans from north to south of this area. Obviously, I could fly away, and I could help you get to the ocean to return to a colder climate, but, to my mind, a capture attempt is a great insult. I will not leave until I have avenged myself. Are you willing to help?"

[Akai]

"Avenge yourself? What have they done to you!?"

[Kaboom]

"Well... it's a long story. You see, I was not born. I have no parents. I was... created. A secret laboratory hidden deep in a forest. Oh, it was horrible... they did tests on me. I was intended to be a weapon, nothing more. I was... a thing, not even a Pokémon to their eyes. My rage boiled over and I destroyed them, only... one of them had a Master Ball. He captured me and subdued me, but I escaped again. I hate humans. I hate them so much I want to rid this planet of them..."

[Akai]

Echo took a step back, disturbed. "You were... created?" He didn't like the fact that his new friend was indeed a real monster.

[Kaboom]

"I know. It's embarassing. You needn't worry, though. I am a Pokémon, despite what they thought, and other Pokémon are on my side. When we first met, and you attacked me, I didn't attack back, because you are a Pokémon, too. But as soon as I laid eyes on the humans, I attacked them."

Aero thought for a moment, then asked, "What about you? Where are you from?"

[Akai]

"...From the most northern lands of ice, from a place called Wintown. There were several of us. My pack... no one bothered us, or knew we were there." He walked off. "They came. Loud machines from the sky. They took us. They took her..."

[Kaboom]

"Her? Who do you mean?"

[Akai]

He looked down painfully. "...The woman I loved is... dead."

[Kaboom]

"Who... who killed her?" Aero was upset at this; inside him, his anger bubbled menacingly.

[Akai]

"...The humans. They tested on her until..." He trailed off, letting tear run down his nose and drip to the cave floor.

[Kaboom]

Aero didn't know what to say. He had discovered that he was not the only one to suffer the indignity of being tested.

After a pause, he still didn't know what to say, and waited for Echo to continue the conversation.

[Akai]

"She gave up on life. We had so much planned... so much happiness... and..." He cried a little, "...and they took it from us."

[Kaboom]

"And what did you do afterwards?"

[Akai]

"I ran... It was I could do. I couldn't stay."

[Kaboom]

"And then you found yourself here, is that it?"

[Akai]

He walked off quiety, regretting bringing that little event up. Now the images wouldn't leave him... the painful pleas to stop from his love haunted him again.

[Kaboom]

Aero realized that Echo had terrible memories of his past. He didn't have any time to do anything, however, due to his hearing of human voices approaching.

"Echo! I think they're onto us! We have to get out of here!"

[Akai]

"You go. I'll stay and put a stop to those monsters!"

[Kaboom]

Aero left the cave, but he was a little too late. His path was blocked by dozens of Pokémon, their Trainers right behind them. The Pokémon growled; Aero growled back, then roared aloud. The Pokémon's morale took a great blow, and Aero plunged into the battle, shielding himself from any possible capture attempt with the enemy.

"Echo! I need you!"

[Akai]

Echo walked out an shot an Ice Beam. "Leave him alone." A Raichu ran to him, Thunderbolting him. Echo stumbled back, panting.

[Kaboom]

Aero chose that moment to flatten the Raichu with his body. The resulting electric surge passed through Aero's body and electrocuted all of the enemy Pokémon who were on him. A Monferno launched a Flamethrower attack at Aero, who almost avoided it, his right arm taking a little overheating. Aero launched himself into the sky and crashed back down on one of the few remaining enemy Pokémon, causing an earthquake.

[Akai]

Echo fell to his side, amazed at Aero's strength.

[Kaboom]

There were no more enemy Pokémon still in any state to fight. Their Trainers recalled them, and their leader stepped forward.
"You win this round, Pokémon, but we shall return! You will be ours!"

On that, he turned and they left.

Aero went to check if Echo was unharmed.

[Akai]

He was panting, the Thunderbolt taking a toll on him.

[Kaboom]

"Will you be all right? Or do you want me to fetch you something?"

[Akai]

"I'm fine. I can survive on my own."

[Kaboom]

Aero nods, takes off and begins to fly down the mountain, into Eterna Forest.
There, he finds a secluded spot and rests.

[Akai]

But Echo was not fine. He was in danger. The bolt from before partly parayzed him. One of his legs was frozen up, not moving at all. He lay on the ground, sighing, closing his eyes and awaiting his eventual capture.

[Kaboom]

Aero woke up, troubled. He sniffed, but there was nothing that should have woken him. He pictured Echo, up in the mountains. True, he wasn't very open or a terrific fighter, but he was the only Pokémon he knew in the region.

He had the feeling again, and realised he should never have left Echo. He took off immediately and began to return to the mountains.

[Akai]

Echo slept uneasily in a little ball, crying most of the night.

[Kaboom]

Aero arrived in the morning, and went to check on Echo.

[Akai]

He was finally asleep, after a long night of tossing and turning, trying to sleep.

[Kaboom]

"Echo? Echo! Are you all right?"

[Akai]

He snored, mumbling something, and turning over.

[Kaboom]

"Echo! Wake up!"

[Akai]

He groaned, stirring, "Silent...?"

[Kaboom]

"Echo, it's me. Are you feeling all right?"

I see you're unbanned

[Akai]

He snapped awake, "Huh? Oh... (Silent?) ...no, who's there?"

[Kaboom]

"It's me, Aero. Who's Silent?"

[Akai]

He went pale. Sweat poured from his brow. "Silent... I... I don't know."

[Kaboom]

Aero didn't think Echo was being truthful, but he seemed to be recovering, so Aero waited for Echo to wake up properly or need help.

[Akai]

He shook his head, "I'm hungry."

[Kaboom]

"Hungry? No problem. I'll be right back with food if you tell me what your preference is."

[Akai]

"Fish... If that's not too much trouble." He walked a little, stretching his legs. "Could I hunt it myself? I need to get wet before I go crazy."

[Kaboom]

"Yeah, no problem. There's a lake not too far a away which should have plenty of fish in. It's at the edge of a forest, so I can hunt for food for myself, too. It's over this way."
Aero indicated a direction, slightly north of eastward.
"It ought to take around ten minutes to get there on foot. Or I can carry you there in about two."

[Akai]

"I.... I don't like heights. I can walk."

[Kaboom]

"OK, no problem. I'll keep an eye out from above. Let's go."

[Akai]

He nodded and ran out. "I'll follow your shadow."

[Kaboom]

Aero took to the skies. He could see the lake from where he was, about three miles away. He started to fly in that direction, not going too fast because he didn't know how fast Echo was capable of running, and keeping a watchful eye on the suuroundings. Nothings appeared out of the ordinary from his vantage point.

[Akai]

Echo took in a breath and calmed him. He pawed at the ground, growling and suddenly taking off, running fast. A silver blur passed under Aero as Echo ran to the lake, skidding to a stop, panting.

[Kaboom]

'Cripes, that was fast!' thoght Aero to himself as he joined Echo by the lake.

"I'm just going to hunt in the forest. I'll be back in ten minutes."
He set off on his hunt, leaving Echo at the lakeside.

[Akai]

He nodded, diving into the water, happy to just be in the coolness.

[Kaboom]

Aero's hunt passed without incident. He found himself a nice meal and then returned to Echo.

[Akai]

Echo was laying on the shore, sunning his fur. His large ear flicked a few times, possibly to rid himself of a pesky insect.

[Kaboom]

Aero flew overhead, troubled. His instinct was warning him of something, but he couldn't tell what.

[Akai]

Echo yawned, his breath smelling like fish, as he turned over, laying on the fish bones of his lunch.

[Kaboom]

Aero landed beside him, slightly surprised at the number of fish bones Echo had assembled in so short a time.

"Echo, something's not right. I have a feeling something is approaching... something bad. I think we should move."

[Akai]

He mumbled something, yawning again and stretching. One of his hind legs came up and scratched at his back, freeing it of tiny fish bones. He stopped, satisfied of his situation and continued sunning, lost in a deep sleep.

[Kaboom]

Aero started. He had had that feeling again. It felt as though something big was approaching. The ground started to shake very gently and rythmically.

"Echo! Wake up! We need to go!"

[Akai]

"....Silent, let me sleep." He groaned.

[Kaboom]

'Again with this "Silent". Who is that? Surely it couldn't be... her?'

The thuds on the ground grew louder and more violent, and also more frequent. Something big and heavy was definitely coming closer. Aero had to do something.

"ECHO! Get up, darn you! We have to get out of here!"

[Akai]

Echo stirred, slowly getting up. The lack of sleep the night before was taking its toll. "...earthquake? What's going... on?"

[Kaboom]

"I don't know. Something big is coming. I think we ought to move, and fast."

[Akai]

He shook his dizzy head, "Lead the way. I'll follow."

[Kaboom]

Aero nodded and headed into the forest as fast as he could. Tne thuds were getting ever louder. There was a loud roar.

[Akai]

Echo snapped awake, hearing the roar. "What? Is that a Pokemon? Is there such a monster around here?"

[Kaboom]

"I don't know. I think I recognise that roar, and if I'm right, we need to be long gone, now. If I'm wrong, we'll probably still need to be elsewhere. Come on!"
Aero began to weave through the trees. He didn't fly, for fear of what may be pursuing.

[Akai]

"Who's roar is that? Can a Pokemon be that dangerous? I thought it was only the humans."

[Kaboom]

"No time for talk now. Yes, it's a Pokémon. One I've encountered before. And yes, it is dangerous. Now let's get out of here!"

[Akai]

Echo gritted his teeth, running faster. "Just lead the way. I trust you."

Aero weaved through the forest, trying to judge if they were actually getting away or not.

Not, as it turned out. The Pokémon Aero had been running from crashed out in front of them and skidded to a halt. The oversized Aggron reared up and roared as loud as it could. Aero was equal to that, and roared louder.

Aggron, miffed, crashed his front feet on the ground, and prepared for a fight.
"Crusher," said Aero, "I really don't have time for you right now!"
"You say that like I care."
"You know how our fights have always ended."
"Yes, I do! And I plan to change that, right now!"
"It's two against one here, mate."
"Your puny little friend will be no match for me!"

[Akai]

Echo gasped, "What? Is that a Pokemon?! I never seen one so... evil."

[Kaboom]

"Just watch out for his earthquakes and you'll be OK."

Crusher, as if on cue, jumped and crashed down. Shockwaves emanated from him. Aero took to the air to avoid them.

[Akai]

Echo spread his legs wide, shaking violently, "Big bully! Pick on someone your own size!"

[Kaboom]

Crusher ignored the remark and started to throw rocks at Aero, who was in the air and was greatly affected by them.

"Argh!" shouted Aero. "You don't win that easily! Take this!"
Aero swooped down and slashed hard with his claws. With a deafening shriek of metal on metal, Aero scored deep grooves in Crusher's shoulder.

[Akai]

Echo watched, gritting his teeth. "Aero, out of the way! I will finish this!" He ran to get a better shot, avoiding rocks and quakes, jumping high in the air, "Water Pulse!" He shot out the water at Crusher, hoping to hit just him.

[Kaboom]

The waves of water hit Aggron hard, as Echo intended, but one of the waves ricocheted and hit Aero instead. Slightly befuddled, Aero landed and tried to pull himself together.

Crusher was hurt, but was not about to give up. He started to throw rocks at Echo.

[Akai]

"What's the matter? Don't like baths?" He ran around, barely avoiding attacks, getting into a better position, "Ice Beam!"

[Kaboom]

The frigid beam struck Crusher right in the chest. He roared in pain, and Aero chose that moment to strike. A small flash of light appeared in Crusher's paw and Aero's claws closed around... thin air.

"He fled. The coward, he always does that! I can never get a victory against him because of his stupid teleporter!"

[Akai]

"Teleporter? Who was that? Why did he want to fight?"

[Kaboom]

"An old enemy of mine. He was in the laboratory that created me. That's why he's huge. Only he was on their side. He wanted power, and they gave it to him. They also gave him that teleporter. Well, I must say that was an excellently placed Ice Beam."

[Akai]

"Thank you. My aim is nearly perfect."

[Kaboom]

"Well, that's one threat out of the way for now. I just hope we haven't attracted any unwanted attention."

Could you please do the next "excitement"? I'm out of ideas. Also, have you noticed we're the only ones posting in any RP? Oh, and nice user title!

Echo nodded, "But now I'm hungry again. How often does your ...'friend' attack like that?"

Yeah, SR can't get a simple "...Idiots" right. >_>

[Kaboom]

"He usually turns up every week or two. I've no idea what he gets up to at other times."

My holidays are over, so from now until the next ones I can only be online Weds afternoon and weekends. >.<

[Akai]

No problem.

Echo nodded, "Well, we should probably go now. I'm sure that little scrap got the attention of something."

[Kaboom]

Aero nodded. "Do you have anywhere you need to get to? Someplace to rest or something?"

[Akai]

He shook his head. "I am new to this place. I don't know anything. The humans forced me out of my home, so I really have nothing to go back to."

[Kaboom]

"I see. Well I'm kind of new here too, but I've got my cave up in the mountains. We can share if you want it, I mean there's lots of snow and stuff."

[Akai]

Echo's ears perked, "Snow?... I guess I could stay there." There was a small grin on his face.

[Kaboom]

"Right, well it's that place I took you after the fight with those humans. Considering your running speed, I'd hazard a guess at saying it's about a minute away. Follow me!"

Aero flew off in the direction of the mountain where his cave was.

[Akai]

Echo followed the shadow Aero cast down as he flew. The silver Pokemon ran fast, not slowing down a bit.

[Kaboom]

Aero arrived at his cave, and turfed out the Ursaring again, as it had returned optimistically. After enjoying scaring it away, Aero waited for Echo to arrive, following the streak of silver down below.

[Akai]

Echo saw the large bear Pokemon oddly scared, running off and stopped at the cave, "That was a weird sight. Is that Crusher fellow back?"

[Kaboom]

"No, that was me. That Ursaring seems to think this cave belongs to it, so I gave it a little fright to put it back in its place."

[Akai]

"That wasn't very nice. You just sent it out into danger. Those humans could..." He stopped, walking into the cave. "It was a bad move..." He spoke lower, laying down.

[Kaboom]

Aero was blunt. "My cave. Well, yours too."

[Akai]

"No. As soon as I'm rested up, I'm leaving for good."

[Kaboom]

"Yeah, well I don't blame you. This place isn't exactly friendly. But I can't go until I have revenge on those who tried to capture me."

[Akai]

"Aero... why do you want revenge? They made you, gave you life. Without them, you wouldn't be here."

[Kaboom]

"...... I never thought of it that way...... But no. They created me for the sole purpose of exploiting me. I was nothing to them. Nothing but a machine. They angered me terribly... I can't... I just can't talk about it. You have no idea what they did to me..."

[Akai]

"Believe me...." He sighed a little, "I have a good idea." He closed his eyes as a painful tear slipped past them.

[Kaboom]

"They put me in a furnace to test my resistance!"

[Akai]

He shot up, snarling, "They ripped her apart, just to see how she lived... Not just her, all of us. They forced us to fight and kill, if we wanted to survive. They gave you life... They took it from me."

[Kaboom]

Aero stood, silent. Without any further words, he left the cave, soaring back into the forest.

[Akai]

Echo cried a little, collasping back to the cold cave floor, curling up into a ball, closing his eyes, regretting for saying anything at all.

[Kaboom]

Aero was angry and sad. The best cure for that was a good sulk, so he landed in a big tree and did so. He felt much better for it, but still wasn't prepared to go back to Echo. He waited to see if Echo would come to him.

[Akai]

Mechanical running became known in the forest below. Like Echo, the object blurred, even faster, up to the cave. Echo's ears caught the sound and moved out, long before the creature stopped there. A few moments later, the cave exploded in battle.

[Kaboom]

Aero heard the noise, but ignored it. He wasn't in the mood for a fight.

With not much to add, Echo and the mysterious creature battled. So much for trying to add the next "exciting" thing.

[Kaboom]

Aero was tired, but he couldn't sleep with all that racket going on up on the hill. He grudgingly flew back up the hill to see who was making all that racket, apart from Echo of course.

[Akai]

Another loud explosion rocked the mountain. Echo's body flew out, landing at Aero's feet, bruised and bloody. The creature that was attacking moved around in the smoke, looking for Echo, slowly walking out.

[Kaboom]

'No! I should have come sooner. Now I have to fight whatever Echo was fighting. I can't even see it in the mist...'

Aero stood between Echo and the cloud of smoke, on guard, ready for the fight.

[Akai]

Mechanical steps moved forward. A powerful wind blew, clearing the smoke, revealing the creature for what it was: A cyborg version of Echo. Mostly metal covered the fur of the creature as red robot eyes zoomed in on the fallen Echo.

[Kaboom]

'What the heck?' thought Aero as he braced himself. He waited for the cyborg to attack first, as per his normal strategy against unknown opponents.

[Akai]

The creature calmly ignored him, walking past Aero and to Echo. It held out its claws, letting them grow a little.

[Kaboom]

"Oh, no you don't!" shouted Aero. He charged at the cyborg and scratched at it viciously.

[Akai]

A horrible hiss came from the creature. Echo gasped, "No, don't! ...please."

[Kaboom]

Aero didn't have the first clue what to do, but if the cyborg attacked Echo, he would interpose.

[Akai]

Echo got up, shaking from weakness. "Aero... I'm sorry." The cyborg walked to Echo, slashing at him, knocking him into the snow.

[Kaboom]

Aero roared, and lunged at the cyborg, landing on its back. He began to slash at its head.

[Akai]

"No,... Aero, please..." Echo struggled to get up.

[Kaboom]

Aero hesitated. The cyborg took advantage of the reprieve to grab him and throw him off. Aero landed in a heap and scrambled to his feet.
"Echo... what is this thing? Why is it...?"

[Akai]

"Don't hurt her... Please..." Echo panted, gasping for air, and struggling to get up.

[Kaboom]

"Her? But... I don't understand... Surely you don't mean..."

[Akai]

"...Yes." He cried a little, "This is what became of her. This is what those monsters did to her!"

The cyborg walked off, slowly fleeing.

[Kaboom]

Aero was simply astonished. This was even worse by far than anything the humans had done to him.
"But, who did that? Who could possibly bear the thought of doing that?"

[Akai]

"I don't know... She was the only one that survived that ... transformation. I escaped, and now she hunts me down. You shouldn't have come back... You're a target now."

[Kaboom]

Aero shrugged. "I have never suffered a defeat. And no cyborg is going to change that. I'm sorry I left you. I realise now what you have had to live through."

[Akai]

Echo collapsed to the ground, low on HP. "...Aero. I'm weak. Just leave me with her."

[Kaboom]

"All right. If you need me, call and I will come."
Aero set off high into the mountain, letting the cool air flow over his body.

[Akai]

(Aero's not a very loyal Pokemon... >_>)

Echo lay in the snow, breathing slowly. He was losing consiousness from the battle.

[Kaboom]

Aero is relatively self-centered, yes.

Aero flew through the evening air, the moisture cooling him pleasently. He landed, suddenly hit by fatigue, and fell asleep on a mountaintop.

[Akai]

It was you that ruined it. Poor Echo was bleeding to death from the attack, but somehow, Aero didn't care, even after he admitted his feelings about it.
