Catch the Twilight Pokémon!

The objective of this game is simple: capture the Twilight Blaziken, that is to say, me. You may employ any methods you deem necessary, and try to capture me while also making sure nobody else succeeds. Alternatively, you may play as a Pokémon and lend me assistance.

All you have to do is for your first post put either Helper or Hunter.

Kaboom finishes putting up the notice, and heads into the nearby woods. Once there, he climbs a tree and waits for somebody to arrive and present a challenge.

My character's name is Kai...

Kai was deep in the jungle searching for the Legendary Kaboom.. This monster had a large bounty on his head, and Kai was determined to get it. He had tried countless times before, but all had ended in failure. However, this hunt, Kai told to himself everyday, was going to be different.. He would catch the Legendary monster!

[Kaboom]

Hey, Delibird, thanks for coming to help. Kai seems real determined this time!

Did he just call me a monster? How rude!

[Delibird Edgemaster]

Mean while, in an forest no afar,a Delibird comes walking along.Only to be acompaning the legendairy "Kaboom". by Delibird the wise.Who has also helped kaboom escape many sticky situations before with kai the bounty hunter. The delibird had a sharp mind with eyes to match. he could also be at times called an edgemaster.

[Kaboom]

Well, I can see him coming, down there. Keep quiet and see if he just walks past. I have a feeling this is going to be the most fun I've ever had!

[Delibird Edgemaster]

Lol i see him too can i set a distraction to lure him away? *takes out a wind up delibird egg* Itll be fun tricking this pesky hunter kai once more. *grins*

[Pokemaster]

Kai was creeping through the forest, wondering where Kaboom may be. He stopped because he heard a noise. It sounded like a voice. He had his equipment ready.. 20 master balls and a tranquilizer gun. As he looked around the corner of a tree, he saw a Pokemon.. It was short and seemed to resemble a bird. 'Hmm.. I've heard of him.. he's supposed to be an assistant of Kaboom's.' Kai thought. Either way, they are going down. He set up his tranquilizer gun, got his target set, and ....

[Delibird Edgemaster]

Eeep ive been spotted! *throws my smoke bomb delibird egg as i disapear deeper into the forest without a sent nor sound* Kaboom lets go im sorry i let us be spotted. *frowns as i continue to run* and i wounder who this hunter may be trying to catch us?

[Kaboom]

... Kaboom leaps down behind Kai and grabs the gun. The shot goes wide, but only just. Kaboom attempts to wrest the gun from Kai's grasp, but Kai hangs on tight. Kaboom makes one final attempt, then pushes. Kai, taken by surprise, stumbles back, while Kaboom runs to a deeper, darker part of the forest and lies in wait...

[Delibird Edgemaster]

*Continues to run woundering where kaboom left off to* That kabbom is probly getting himself in a heap of trouble like always. Well ill be indanger ot go back to get him so im just gonna have to head out and hope i meet up with kaboom soon uncaptured.

[Kaboom]

Delibird! Up here! He's lost our trail... for now. We should rest for a bit until he, or someone else, comes along.

[Pokemaster]

I am about to go to bed, but..

Kai saw Kaboom dash off, and noticing that there were flower petals in a neat order, figured that the delibird had left them. 'Hmm.. If I follow this, I'm bound to come near them.' So he headed out...

[Delibird Edgemaster]

No he'll just pick us back us anytime soon. We might aswell keep going and go to one of my trusty freinds with a hideout for us to stay.Lets go!

[Kaboom]

Cool, I'm with you. Just as long as there's more than one exit from the hideout. If not, there's no way I'm going in, as it would be easy for Kai to turn into a trap...

[Delibird Edgemaster]

Dont worry my freind keeps it verry puzzling. All he does all day anyhow, its in a secrect part of the up coming city.

OK, well we'll take advantage of this reprieve to go there, then.

Ok then,lets head to digrent town where my freind is and his hideout. *hard thing will be trying to sneak you into town*

I'll join! I'll be a hunter named Felly. (I know, very original, yes?)

[Pokemaster]

(Instead of talking someone start atleast another post before kaboom gets on *needs to be from a hunter though*)

[Kaboom]

Right, we're at the hideout. Who exactly is this friend of yours who owns it?

[Pokemaster]

Kai was creeping through this jungle following the path of petals.. when suddenly.. they stopped.
"Drat.. Hmmm... that's it!" Kai pulled a small red and white ball from his belt. "You've always been lucky for me.. Go.. Blaze!!" He threw ball up into the air, watching it break, and send a beam of red light to the ground.. The beam started to change into the form of a creature then materialized to display a small, red skinned, cat looking creature. He had a yellow mane and a yellow tail that seemed to be made of fire. "Blaze, track down Kaboom's scent!" The little monster immediately began running around looking for the smell of Kaboom. Once it found the trail, Kai was up and ready to go.. "Alright.. Let's finish this!"

[Kaboom]

I just hope Kai doesn't find us. If he finds you protecting me, he'll probably hurt you quite badly. Therefore, we shall be utterly silent. The stream has already washed our scent away, in case he thinks of tracking us. In fact, I've never been happier to see water!

[Pokemaster]

Kai followed Blaze until they got to a stream.. Blaze couldn't seem to track the scent anymore, and to make matters worse, he was terrified of water. "This could be a problem.. Wait a minute.." Kai dug into his pockets and pulled out yet another ball. He threw this one into the air, and the same thing happened before, only this time, a different creature materialized.
This creature was blue, and seemed to resemble a fish/fox imbreed. "Aqua.. dive into the water, tell me if you find Kaboom's scent!" The little fox dove headfirst, then seconds later, came back up yipping cheerfully. It seemed she had indeed tracked the smell. "Good.. Blaze, Aqua, let's go!" Aqua swam upstream, while Kai and Blaze ran beside it.

[Kaboom]

(He's going the wrong way... I hope he doesn't notice anytime soon...)

[Pokemaster]

(Hey, I'm following Aqua's nose.. and her nose is precise!)

[Kaboom]

(I wonder what's she's tracking, then. Because if it's me, she going on a very long detour)

[Pokemaster]

(do you have to ruin my moment?)

[Kaboom]

Hmm. Methinks me should get outta here.
Hoi! Swellow, me old mate! Care to give me a lift? Thanks.

Swellow carries Kaboom far away into the deepest part of the woods, where it's pitch black and there's noise everywhere.

[Pokemaster]

(I thought you had to wait for helpers?)

[Kaboom]

Helpers, yes. But I already have friends!

[Pokemaster]

Kai, Aqua, and Blaze finally approached the place that the scent lead to, however, when they got there, Kaboom was not there.. "Where could he be now?" Blaze started to growl and bark.. he was jumping up in the air.. "Blaze what are you doing?" The little creature looked at him, then the sky. "Oh.. I see.. you're saying he's in the air.." Kai thought deeply about this.. "Well, if he wants a good chase, so be it! GO!! Aerialus!" He shouted this as he threw another ball into the air, materializing yet another creature. This one however, was a giant bird. "Aerialus, take me and Blaze to Kaboom. He will track down the scent. Aqua, return!" Kai re-opened Aqua's ball, and the monster dematerialized and turned back into a red beam before being sucked back into the ball that it's master was holding. Then Aerialus, Blaze, and Kai took off to the skies.

We had to come here you dummy,we couldve been at the town if you flew to the right place but now were just in the middle of this forest.*looks at a tree with my freinds certain tree that has a lugia shaped on it* what luck... you dropped us into the shortcut area to his hideout.just use dig and get under the tree.Under the tree is the beginning of the hideout.*uses dig to get under the tree*

[Kaboom]

OK, sorry about that but I got nervous and bolted. Kai should be way off now, so let's get underground.

Kaboom used Dig to burrow into the hideout, taking care to not leave any visible traces on the surface.

[Pokemaster]

Kai, Aerialus, and Blaze were flying around, following Kaboom's scent. As it turns out, he had been riding with a Swellow. "Blaze, have you tracked them down yet?" The little pup was still sniffing around. "I guess not.." Then Blaze started to yip cheerfully and point towards the ground. It was odd, because there was an odd tree standing there.. One shaped like Lugia. "Aerialus, down to the ground, in front of that tree!" The bird reacted with regards to it's masters orders. They swooped down to the ground. Blaze started sniffing the ground.. It seemed to be the only spot that he was sniffing, was that directly in front of the tree.. "Blaze, what's wrong? Weren't they here?" Upon his asking, Blaze began to dig a small hole. "Oh! They went underground you say?" Then lets do this the old fashioned way. "Go! Mudbomb!"
A new creature materialized. It looked like 3 moles. "Mudbomb, dig into the ground.. I feel we are close to Kaboom this time." Mudbomb did as ordered, and in no time, had discovered a hideout. "Alright, now we're getting somewhere. Mudbomb, Aerialus, return!" They dematerialized. Then Blaze and Kai set off through this underground tunnel.

[Kaboom]

Kaboom smells them coming. He readies himself to spring an ambush by a bend in the corridor. The scent grew stronger. Their footsteps became audible despite their attempts to keep quiet.

Kaboom springs as soon as Blaze's nose pokes around the corridor. The Flareon jumps in surprise, but nevertheless succeeds in avoiding the attack.
Kaboom recovers and tries to use Slash on the fire fox.

[Pokemaster]

"Blaze! Watch out! Use Dig!" Blaze burrowed under the ground, and it seemed that Kaboom was somewhat confused. 'This isn't enough, I'm gonna need more back-up.' "Aqua, Go!" He rematerialized the little water fox. "Use Hydro Cannon!" Aqua took a fighting stance and, with all her might, launched an enormous blast of water.

[Delibird Edgemaster]

*Aerial aces aqua to protect kaboom from taking a hit that couldve taken him out,then pulled out a present and threw it at blaza which began to spike up before it landed*Bah go away. *throws a hard stone item at kais head and watrer pulses blaza and tries to run off with kaboom*

[Kaboom]

"Argh!" said Kaboom as he was blasted into the wall by a jet of water. He fell to the ground, gasping.

(just noticed Delibird's location...)

[Pokemaster]

"Aqua keep at it!!" Kai yelled this as he ran towards Kaboom. "You're mine now!!" He grabbed a new ball, one that was purple with two bumps on it, and threw it directly at Kaboom's heart. "Master ball, Go!!!"

[Kaboom]

Kaboom was merely feigning weakness, and jumped up, grabbing Pokemaster's arm before he can throw the ball. He then span Pokemaster around and put a claw to his neck. Using telepathy, Kaboom said to him: "Command your Pokémon to stop attacking!"

[Pokemaster]

"Why should I command them to stop? They are merely making it easier to capture you, Kaboom. You and I know that this chase has gone on for many years.. and finally, I have you right where I want you!"

[Kaboom]

"What, you WANT me behind you, threatening to tear your throat out if you don't command your Pokémon back into their Pokéballs?"

[Pokemaster]

"Who said that's what I wanted? I just want you!! And sooner or later, whether you want it or not, you will be mine!" While speaking, Kai slowly reached into his pocket, so as not to attract attention to Kaboom. He pulled out a new master ball.

[Kaboom]

Kaboom's acute senses detect the movement and realise what's about to happen. He casually and gently scratches the arm that's reaching into the pocket.

[Pokemaster]

"Ahh.... Kaboom, tell me, why do you not want to be captured? Surely you have been yearning for a trainer that will take excellent care of you? You see how close of a bond my pokemon and I have. Why do you not wish for this bond?"

[Kaboom]

Kaboom paused, thoughtful for a moment, seriously considering what Kai had just said.
"For the simple reason that what I yearn for most is excitement at every moment of my life. With you I would spend a lot of time as a blob of energy in a Ball, no matter how much you cared for me. In the wild, I can do anything, go everywhere. I am free, for nothing can control me. Even when the Darkness had consumed me, I was still free. Besides, I remember our first encounter. You sprayed me with a fire hose. In all honesty, you have done nothing but try to defeat and/or capture me, and therefore you are not my friend."

Kaboom tightens his grip on Kai's arm.
"I am leaving now. You may pursue me, but you will never be the one to capture me."

Kaboom releases Kai, flinging him at his Pokémon to gain a few seconds, before digging his way out of the hideout.

I shall not say where he went after that. It is up to you to find him.

[Pokemaster]

Kai stumbled back from being tossed by Kaboom. 'Kaboom, if only you understood...' "Alright.. Blaze, you ready? Go, Mudbomb!" He once again released the 3-mole creature. "Mudbomb, I want you to dig in any direction that Blaze gets Kaboom's scent. Alright guys, let's do this!"

Kai wondered to himself, had he really been that cruel to Kaboom? Perhaps there was a way to show him that he was sorry. He followed his Pokemon while considering all this....

[Kaboom]

Kaboom found a suitable hiding place and hid upwind of the hideout. In this way, his scent would not be found, and he'd be able to smell Kai and his minions easily.

'That guy is just totally obsessed with catching me. Everyone knows me, and yet he is the only one who tries to catch me. He's very lucky I didn't rip his throat out back then, but maybe he'll become a better person in time...'

[Pokemaster]

After walking for what seemed forever, Blaze stopped searching.. "Blaze, what is it?" The little pup seemed very confused. 'He must have lost the scent.. but how?' "Well, guys.. let's take a break anyway.. You've worked really hard today. Aqua, Aerialus, come on out!" He once again released these two Pokemon. After releasing them all, he pulled out random bags of food, making sure to give certain ones to certain Pokemon. "Eat up guys." Kai smiled as he watched them feed.

'I wonder what Kaboom thinks of me truly.. Perhaps he thinks that I would only be mean to him because of our first encounter.. If only he knew how much it really mattered to me to have someone I could really be friends with, besides as just as Pokemon..'

[Kaboom]

Kaboom smells the food down in the vale. He guesses it belongs to Kai.
Just then, he picks up a telepathic signal.
'I wonder what Kaboom thinks of me truly.. Perhaps he thinks that I would only be mean to him because of our first encounter.. If only he knew how much it really mattered to me to have someone I could really be friends with, besides as just as Pokemon..'

So that's what he want's. If that's the case, he has much to learn about friendship. I made it clear that I didn't want to be captured, but he persisted. If only he'd realise that a promise to not capture me is the best gift he could possibly give me...


(I got school, and unfortunately I have no access to a computer until Wednesday, so I'll be offline until then.)

[Kaboom]

Kai hasn't shown up yet - is he trying some devious plot? Or maybe he's come to his senses? Or maybe he just gave up, but that seems unlikely...

[Pokemaster]

Kai and his Pokemon had decided to rest in the tunnel for the night. After nearly 9 hours of sleep, Kai woke up, completely refreshed. He noticed that he had a lot of food extra.. 'Hmm... Maybe I'll leave some food for Kaboom. I'm sure he's hungry. So, Kai grabbed a couple of bags left over, and he put them in a pile. "Well, that should do him." He opened up the Pokeballs containing Blaze, Mudbomb, and Aqua. "Alright.. Let's continue the hunt.. or at least try to get outta here."

[Kaboom]

Kaboom woke up with a jolt. He had drifted off. Now he was very hungry, so he had a sniff around. He could smell Kai's food still there, but Kai's scent was slightly stale: he had moved off. I ventured to the source of the smell of food and found the bags.

Either he's forgotten them - unlikely - or he's left them for me.
Kaboom sniffed around a little, cautious.
He's definitely not around. He must have left it for me. Maybe he's not so bad after all. Our first meeting was in a pub, after all, and everyone was a little drunk... Maybe I've been too hard on him. I should definitely be a bit nicer to him from now on.

Kaboom carried the bags up a tree and began to eat.

[Pokemaster]

Kai started to smile.. He knew that Kaboom had found the bags.. 'Well, I'm glad that he at least won't go hungry.' They finally made way out of the large tunnel. Nearby was a large grove of berry bushes. "Oh.. wow! So many berries. Maybe I'll pick a few." He pulled out a small bag, and filled it with berries of many variety. There were Oran, Leppa, and many other soft, chewy berries. After eating a few, both him and his Pokemon, they started for a small walk, looking around, for sights of Kaboom. 'Maybe I should give him a few days rest...'

[Kaboom]

That was delicious food. Now, I think I should give Kai another shot at capturing me, to see how he reacts. It could be very interesting to see whether he's changed or not...

Kaboom descends from his tree and follows Kai's scent, looking for him.

[Pokemaster]

Kai's Pokemon started to act somewhat odd.. "Kaboom's coming.." The Pokemon nodded. "Well, let's try this again. Only, this time, it's gonna be different." He returned the Pokemon to their balls, and waited for Kaboom to show up.

[Kaboom]

Kaboom entered the clearing where Kai was waiting.
This is going to be an interesting battle.
Kaboom stood at the opposite end of the clearing to Kai, glaring at him intimidatingly. He waited for Kai to choose one of his Pokémon.

[Pokemaster]

Kai put his hands in his pockets. Kaboom is expecting me to withdraw a Pokemon, I assume. But if he's thinking that, he's in for a surprise.

[Kaboom]

Why is he taking so long to choose?

[Pokemaster]

Kai decided for minute.. then spoke.. "Kaboom, I will not use any Pokemon this time.. If you wish for a fight.. then let it truly be a fight. Fist to fist combat. No other elements included. No fire attacks for you.. No pokemon for me.. Do you accept these terms?"

[Kaboom]

"Are you mad? Besides my fire, I have great strength and agility, even without the Darkness within me! Make sure you are confident with your terms - and I seriously urge you to reconsider. If you are sure, then it shall be an all-out fist fight."

[Pokemaster]

"It does not matter to me, Kaboom. I have realized, I have been a tad unfair to you.. Always hitting you in your weak spot. I shall use no Pokemon, and you shall use only your skill."

I hope this is a good idea..

[Kaboom]

"Fine, but if that is the case, I shall give you the first strike."

He's mad! He really is totally bonkers!

[Pokemaster]

"Very well," said Kai, and he rushed at Kaboom, jumped into the air, and aimed a flying kick at him.

He must think I've gone crazy, there's no other explanation for why he'd be accepting this.

[Kaboom]

The flying kick soared towards me. It was perfectly aimed, but I grabbed the foot and threw it along with its owner back to the other side of the clearing, applying minimal force and being careful withmy claws.

I ought to give him a chance to change his mind. Just in case.

[Pokemaster]

Kai hit the ground hard and landed on his arm.. "AGhh.."

Maybe it would be wise to just go for a little bit..

[Kaboom]

Kaboom waited, his fire dimmed as much as possible, trying to keep the old battle fever in check, waiting for Kai to come to his senses.

[Pokemaster]

Kai rose from the ground.. He rushed back at Kaboom and made a dive, hoping to have made it soon enough to land directly under him.

This may not be a good idea..

[Kaboom]

What the... what's Kai doing now?!?

[Pokemaster]

Kai landed directly underneath Kaboom's tail. He aimed his foot and kicked.

I hope he doesn't hate me for hitting him, but I've gotta do it.

[Kaboom]

Whoa! SPLAT! That was unexpected. Right on my tailbone.

Kaboom stood up and grabbed Kai, hurling him back across the clearing.

One last chance. Then I get angry.

[Pokemaster]

Kai came down on the ground hard again.. "Oww..."

That's it.. I'm outta here..

He got up, and ran off, but he left behind a small pile of berries.

[Kaboom]

Kaboom wound down after the fight, then noticed the berries, picked them up and found a nice cave to settle in temporarily.

*After the good hittings and the hydro cannon i finally awaken*
Urgh wait...... Where did everyone go?,and where am i? *dusknoir the owner of this maze comes up* Hey! you came to help me! Thanks for the recovery dusk.Nowi have to go out and find kaboom. *Dusknoir puts a grin on his belly face,pushed me out back into the maze,and gives me a bag of berries,and a black flute. The flute has a note on it saying "use this in emergancys to summon me to your need"* Hmm seems like a good item to have thanks dusk! Now im off to find kaboom. *Steps out into the maze looks down the maze that seems to be empty for miles on end.* This will be forever! I cant even pick up a sent from both of them that im so far away.

[Kaboom]

*Sniff, sniff*
"Hmm... Delibird. I forgot about him. Let's go find him."
Kaboom begins to follow the scent.

[Delibird Edgemaster]

"Is still walking down this maze kicking a little rock around as i go." Wahh nowhere to go and nothing to do,nowhere to escape... Mabey dusk wont mind me breaking his walls! *Aerial aces walls and ice balls walls aswell to try and get a shortcut out of this underground ****.*

[Kaboom]

"Whoa, that place is HUGE! It's a labyrinth! *Sniff sniff* Delibird's definitely in there. Hmm... Well, when in doubt, climb a tree."

Kaboom climbs a tree in order to get a good view of the labyrinth. He takes in all of its layout and locates Delibird.

"Right, so if he's there, and I go there, then I'll get to him by the time he gets there."
After a few mental calculations, Kaboom enters the maze. Providing Delibird continues in a straight line, they will meet up soon.

[Delibird Edgemaster]

*keeps breaking walls i break 5 walls before im exhusted and i collapse where i stand*
Owwies.. Dusk makes to thick of walls...

[~Felly~]

Felly accidentally walks into the labyrenth and runs into a wall. "OW! SON OF A--... Oh wait. I should edit mah vocabulary a bit to make this appropriate for young kids. SON OF AN ICE CREAM TRUCK. STUPID WALLS." She took a Pokéball out of her Pokéball pouch and threw it into the air. A Flareon materialized from said Pokéball as Felly caught it. "Okay Flareon! Burn these stupid walls down with Flamethrower!" And now all Felly could do was wait as her Flareon burned the walls down...

[Delibird Edgemaster]

*Wakes up and around the corner i see some trainer with a flareon blasting through a wall to get out of this maze,Then i try to walk around the trainer without it noticing me. Then when i got passed her i ran so she couldnt turn around and see me.* Phew! I was worried she was going to catch me,i dont wanna be caught! T.T *continues walking down this maze,as i walk down it i eventually trip over a lump in the ground with 2 smaller lumps next to it* What the heck was that! *A dugtrio popped out of the ground and looked at me like i stole his food or something.* Wait... This looks like Kai's dugtrio.. *Runs away from the dugtrio, but dugtrio eventually giga impacted me through a wall.* MEANIE YOU WILL BE PUNISHED! *With anger i repeatively used ice shard on dugtrio not carring how itd turn out after awhile and making dugtrio so infernior due to me out speeding it with ice shard. Eventually dugtrio fainted and even had a long cut aross its heard.* Thats what you get you demon! *walks off but then feels bad what i did to the dugtrio,so i turn back and feed it some oran berries in the bag dusknoir gave to me and put a bandage on its long cut,then walked away feeling better about myself.*Sorry! Take care of yourself. And dont bother coming to hit me agin,ill just leave you a bigger cut than last time.

[Kaboom]

"What's all that commotion?"
*Bashes through a couple of walls to find Delibird*
"There you are. I've been looking for you. Now let's get out of here."

[Pokemaster]

(Kaboom? Delibird? Please, keep in mind, this is an RP. Asterisks are not necessary. Just simply say something along the lines of.. Delibird smashed through walls.)

[Kaboom]

(Oh yeah, oops! I forgot!)

[~Felly~]

Felly had noticed Delibird as he was running away from her. Her and her Flareon had followed Delibird in pursuit and were hiding behind a nearby rock. Felly whispered a command to her Flareon. "When they turn their backs, use Flamethrower." Her Flareon nodded and now they just had to wait.

[Pokemaster]

Kai had given Kaboom a few days to rest from his attacks. He headed back into the Labyrinth from the way that he had come. "Felly, it's nice to see you. I see you have your Flareon out as well." Kai's Flareon, Blaze, was out beside him.

[Kaboom]

"Right, now we just need to get out of here. It should be this way."
Kaboom walked along the path a little. He soon arrived at a fountain.
"I've never seen that before. Well, I'm completely lost."

A little later, he realised something.
"I'm so stupid! I'm a Blaziken, for Entei's sake! All I have to do is jump."
He did so, and saw which way he had to go. He also saw Kai was catching up.
"Time I wasn't here."
Kaboom made his way to the exit.

Kai had looked up, and just in time it would seem. He noticed Kaboom jumping in the air. 'Perhaps it's time to continue the hunt.' He ran to the spot that he noticed Kaboom jumping. However, by the time he got there, the scent was stale, according to Blaze. "Blaze. Can you still follow it?" The little pup yipped excitedly and began to chase after them. "Thatta boy."
