All right, so I am aware that Mirage Island appears only through a random ID number chosen once a day. Obviously I have not been lucky enough to have had the number, though has anyone here done so? I'm obviously interested in this because of the Liechi Berry (which is available in Pokemon Battle Revolution, though I don't own a Wii), so maybe someone can give me some tips on how they got it to appear.

There's no trick to this at all. It all depends on luck, having the ID number. Personally I've never been to Mirage Island but do know of some ways to increase you chance of going there. Just keep trading pokemon with as many different trainers as possible and keep visiting the guy in Pacifidlog, he'll tell you if Mirage Island is there or not. BTW, why do you want the Leichi so much?

So it is ID Number? Interesting. Because I must have looked at 50 different sites (including this one, Serebii, and Psypokes). I've seen stories about ID number and I've also seen things about "Mirage Island Friendly" Pokemon and things regarding "Gender Break-point" and I'm just trying to get the facts clear.

As for why I want the Liechi so much? It is just the simple fact that it is a very rare and mysterious berry that I want in my possession. Although in checking around yesterday, I found an acquaintance who was willing to sell his copy of Battle Revolution for $15.00, so I guess I'll just borrow a Wii, play through the game, and trade it to my Diamond and Pearl carts.

Thanks for the help by the way, although here's another question (since I have yet to see this answered).

Does the number that is picked in the Lilycove lottery for the day match the ID number chosen for Mirage Island or is it different?

Once again, thanks for the quick reply.

No, because the lottery number is chosen on the spot (why you can reset your game and get a different number). I'm not sure when mirage islands number is chosen (turn of the day, on the spot), but the fact that the lottery is chosen right when you play it would mean no.

Concerning which information is right or wrong, most of the reliable sites will have the right information. The right one is the ID one. ID your ID is chosen on that day, you'll br able to go to Mirage Island. All the other facts you had found are fake and the person who owns the site probable made the whole thing up after hacking their game.

All right, thanks to both of you. I had a feeling that it was the ID number though I figure I confirm it just to clear up any confusion I may have had.

Edit: On second thought, this thread is provoking a good discussion so I have changed my mind that it should be closed (unless a moderator/administrator feels it is necessary).

I would want it because it is a trading tool, kinda like baby feebas. With you can pretty much get anything on wifi with little to no effort.

Well that is interesting, except for the fact that I haven't traded with anyone online yet. I'm a bit skeptical of receiving hacked Pokemon. I guess I'm more interested in it because it is a good tool to have for the Battle Tower (in addition to previously saying that it was rare). Basically right now, I'm speeding through both my Ruby and Emerald cartridges trying to see if they give it to me automatically on a fluke that my ID number is picked. So far, I have had no such luck.

On the other hand, once I get my Wii and Battle Revolution (and I am eventually planning on getting one), 38,400 points really isn't too much. I've already played through Colosseum several times to get the Ganlon, Salac, Petaya, and Apicot berries at 15,000 Poke-coupons each (it's a shame they didn't include the Liechi in that list or XD for 30,000 or so).

In addition, Battle Revolution also has available the Lansat and Starf Berries which were previously only available by getting all of the Silver and Gold symbols respectively in the Battle Frontier. Liechi though is the best of those three since it (as you know) raises Attack when HP is around 1/3. Lansat (again as you know already most likely) only raises chances for a critical hit when HP drops below that same level, and Starf raises a random statistic.

Okay, the problem seems to be solved, so I'm closing this, if anyone wants it open just PM a mod.
