Super Smash Bros Brawl Delayed again

For the second time Smash Brawl has been delayed. Originally schedule to be released in time for Christmas, Smash Bros Brawl has now been delayed for some fine-tuning before its new release date in March. Here's what the official website Smash Bros. DOJO!! (http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/) posted:

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

Please discuss. Is anyone surprised? I mean this is Nintendo.

Why does it keep getting delayed? Is there a problem with translations or something? It comes out in Japan on Jan 31, so it may be a making-enough-of-them problem. Haha.

I think it's because Nintendo is trying to cram as much stuff in it as they can, to make it more fun... It's what happened in SSBM, but they had so many things that they had to get rid of a few things, like Ditto.

Actually the delay is due to the fact that they don't have enough games made to meet the supply in demand... This was already confirmed by Nintendo...

He was supposed to be one of the pokemon that you could get. He would morph into a whatever your character was, then fight on your side for some time. But, they had to get rid of him.

Aww. That could be fun. Would he like be an AI or copy your moves?

I don't really know. People have accessed Ditto by using cheating devices. I don't know all of the specifics on ditto.

That's a shame. Ditto sounds like a reall good Pokemon. It could drop from a PokeBall, and whoever grabs and released the Pokemon, Ditto morphs into him and helps you a little.

this is going to have munchlax and charizard as playable charactors i've heard and also there will be a second pokemon stadium.

We really really need a second Pokemon Stadium... just for the mini games. Yay.

I know Charizard will be playable, but I'm not sure about Munchlax. He could be just in the game, or an unlockable character.

EDIT: Going back to Ditto. When he morphs, it's not perfect. He keeps his face. Like this:

Well, it was delayed because the supply didn't meet the demand. It must be good. The Wii, even sometimes frustrating to use, is a good system. I'm sure the wireless ability is used to it's fullest, at least I hope. We'll find out soon. I know people will check out the Japanese sites and read blogs made by Japanese game freaks. :)

Yeah, I can't wait to play as Olimar too. But I just can't get the thought out that people will start abusing his pikmin. They'll just run away and pluck pikmin out of the ground and throw from long-range.

I hope it won't be delayed again. But, I don't think that there will be a riot if it gets delayed. Maybe if it gets delayed five times, then people will start getting agitated.

Are the Pikmin actual playable characters, or do they team up, like the Trainer and Pokemon... or are they used as items? I really can't see their use in the game.

Pikmin are characters, in some ways.. There are five types (different colors) of pikmin, and they follow Olimar around with him. His Side-B move, throws the pikmin. Different pikmin do different things. Olimar's B move plucks them from the ground. So, because he throws them, they are more like Items, and not characters, but they are not truly items, because other characters cannot pick them up. The pikmin also die when they are hit too many times, or too hard. But no, you cannot actually move them (unless you count switching the order they follow you in a line, so you can throw a different colored one). Olimar needs Pikmin to actually survive, because most, if not all, his moves have to use at least one pikmin. Olimar alone will be KO'd quickly.

Olimar seems a little cooler now. It reminds me of Mario in SPM when he gets the Mini Me block (I call it that) and get all those retro Marios around him.
