Berlitz (ベルリッツ Berurittsu) is the female protagonist for the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl story arc of Pokémon Adventures.

Berlitz is a somewhat spoiled but talented girl who comes from a 200-year old family of wealthy scholars famous in Sinnoh. She wears pearl and diamond rings. She does not give her name to commoners; therefore, Berlitz's given name is unknown.

The Berlitz family tradition is for members coming of age to travel to the peak of Mt. Coronet to obtain materials to make their personal family crest. At the suggestion of Berlitz's butler, Sebastian, her father hired two body guards to protect her in her journey. Professor Rowan provided her with three Pokédexes, three Pokétches, and three of his starter Pokémon so that Berlitz would share them with her bodyguards to assist him in his research.

She owns a Piplup and a Ponyta. Her Piplup has now evolved into a Prinplup. Also, she is known to enter many competitions, such as Super Pokemon Contests and battling gym leaders.

She is based on Dawn from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.

It'll problem be something obvious like Pokemon Platnum or something like that. The game will probably be like Pokmemon Yellow, Crystal and Emerald, a single game pretty much the same as the ones before but with minor improvements.

Well, just so everybody knows, in the manga, the characters are always the name of the game, its always been that way. This is why I find it hard to believe that platinum is it.

If you're hoping for a third game, think of the featured Pokemon... and then think of a name that'll go with it. Like if it's Arseus, it could be Prism, since Arseus can become many things, like a Prism can become many color.

I don't get how everybody started arguing all of a sudden. Shiny Raichu in the first place just made a suggestion. It was his opinion and he probably didn't know about Berlitz being a character in the manga. Seriously, there's no need to start an argument over someone's opinion or suggestion.

Ok. I did a little research and found some good news on Beryl:


Beryl occurs in a variety of colors including green, yellow, greenish-yellow, blue to blue-green, red, colorless and pink. The pink variety is known as Morganite, red is very rare and known as Bixbite, Goshenite is the colorless form. Golden beryl is a yellow-green and called Heliodor. Aquamarines and emeralds are actually a variety of beryl. Beryls are some of the most valuable of all the colored gemstones. Dark blue beryls are available today that are actually light colored beryls treated with radiation, much in the same manner as blue topaz.
