OMG!! THE FAN-ART FORUM WENT POOF! -dies-
Anyway, I am here for a spriting tutorial for anybody who wants it. Just a question first, would I be able to double-post for the different spriting techniques (hybrids, cosplayers, lineless, pixel-overs, etc.)?
I'll just give a quick hybrid tutorial first:
Step One: Choose two sprites that you would like to combine. Zoom in 8 times using the magnifying glass tool. Be sure that the transparency feature is selected.

Step Two: Decide which sprite you would like to use as the base. This is the one that you will add features from the other one to.
Step Three: Take features from the other Pokemon (we'll call it the provider) and set them aside. Use the selection tool to grab parts, then right click on the selected part. Hold down the keys Control (Ctrl) and V at the same time to paste the parts. Zoom in and erase the parts you don't need.

Step Four: Use the selection tool to roughly add the provider's parts to the base. You can delete parts of the base if you need to.

Step Five: Use the eyedropper tool to choose colors from the base. Apply the colors in the proper spots to the provider's parts so that the sprite is the color of the base all over.

Step Six: If you'd like, you can change the position of some of the parts of the base. Use the selection tool, then copy and paste to move it around.

Well, I hope that helped a bit... I was kinda vague on the recoloring part... =/
