Ok, I think everybody here has a cell phone. So, with the creation of this new sub forum, here's a thread where you can talk about your cell phone!

My cell-u-lar device is a regular T Mobile with a missing back cover. The wall paper is my dog, and the screensaver is a picture of some skinny jeans (temporary!). I'm in the process of getting a fancy ringtone. o.o

I actually don't own a cell phone, however there is a chance I will be getting one in the future as more and more Japanese game companies are releasing some of their games in cell phone format.

I have a Razr with Verizon(are you happy now that i admitted that i suck?) that gets service most places except for my house, bus stop, and the mall. My wallpaper is me in negative. I HAVE MEGAMAN 2!!!!!!!!

That's pretty cool, as Mega Man 2 is one of my all time favorite NES games (let alone Mega Man games). I know Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Castlevania, and I think Contra have all been released as well in cell phone format.

My phone is a Sharp GX30 on Vodafone network. I bought it brand new when it was first released three years ago and haven't change it since. I want to get a new phone, but I don't see the point in spending a lot of money on something that I already have.

All these new phones come with 5 mega pixel cameras, play games and act as MP3 players and none of that stuff interests me. I already have a 6 mega pixel digital camera which stores and plays MP3s and video clips as well as a DS, so I don't need all that stuff on a phone.

I have a Nokia 6234 which I got at the start of this year. It's a shame that phones are quite expensive here for even a decent model. But I've managed to load some stuff onto my phone after buying an extra USB cord for it. X.X

I don't own a cellphone and I never plan to. I heard they cause brain cancer. I'm not going to take the risk and plus they are annoying as heck. As for the argument about always being able to reach someone, whenever I call someone with a cellphone I can never reach them.

Nowadays, everything causes cancer. While I'm not saying you should get one, the radiation produced from such phones is actually decreasing as phones are improving.

Jared - For Wily's Stages, use the Quick Boomerang for the Dragon, the Metal Blade for the robot carrier (I guess it is), the Crash Bombs for the laser machines (I guess it is), and then finally the Rock/Mega Buster for Wily's Machines (or the Atomic Fire if you can get lucky and get a powered up shot). It's only for when you face the Alien Wily that the Bubble Lead is needed.

Skype isn't a Cell phone.
The only requriment of a cell phones is if it uses:
1.) Microwaves (not the machine, the wave the machine uses)
2.) A cell tower
They go togther since in order to get to a cell tower you need microwaves. And, I often use a laptop cell card, when there isn't wi-fi arround. Then I open skype, get internet with the cell card, which is using microwaves, to get to a signal from a cell tower, and then it calls out.

It depends on what you define it as, you could define it as several things. Mine fits, and so does yours.

All right let's settle this mini debate. The topic is in regard to a physical cell phone. Skype has specific features similar to a cell phone (say with Skype out and such), though a lot of kids nowadays have all types of fancy cell phones with text messaging and internet and TV and whatever else.

I don't have one and never wanted one. The closest I came to getting a cell phone was when they announced the prequel to Final Fantasy VII titled Before Crisis though when I found out it was heavily P2P based to get through the game, I immediately soured on it.

Anyways, I beat MM2 a few weeks ago, very hard... Tetris won't let me get past Level 10, and I learned how to hack my Razr using Wikihow ^.^

There's no such thing as a cell "phone" anymore. They always come with TXT, IM, camera, video, music, downloads, just crap no one needs on a phone. Cell phones need to be for emergencies, not pleasure.

That could be highly argued. In my opinion, a cell phone is a conveniant use for communication. Texting and talking for pleasure isn't a crime when you pay for the consequences. Downloads are a fun way to customize your phone so that not everybody has to be the same.

That's just my idea though.

You know what's funny? Watching Saved by the Bell and seeing how big the cell phones they had back in the 90's - it's like sticking a slab of beef to the side of your head they were so big!

IMO cellphones are a pain. You can never reach someone because they always have them turned off. Ive made a promise I will never buy one because they are just stupid and annoying.

Well, the cell phone of 1995 (I think the old one I was talking about before was '96), weighed about a pound, and could only call, but wasn't huge. About 5" * 2" * 1.5", so it could be worse.
