Christmas Night
Ash and the gang are spending Christmas at Prof Oak's beach house. They leave to go buy a cake, leaving their Pokemon home alone. The Pokemon, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Vulpix, Psyduck, Togepi and Pikachu, wander around and find the tree and the treats in the kitchen. They play with the party hats, then Pikachu and Togepi go admire the tree.
Trouble begins when Squirtle accidentally eats Bulbasaur's cookie, and he chases Squirtle around the house, while Vulpix gets its head stuck in a stocking and begins to panic. Psyduck just plays with a bottle of champagne while all of this is going on.
During the ruckus, the tree gets knocked down on top of Pikachu. Irritated, Pikachu tries to Thundershock them, but ends up knocking out the lights instead. In the darkness, Pikachu finds a lightup music box with a tiny Christmas tree inside, but it winds down and they are left in darkness again, feeling sad. The Pokemon look at the toppled tree and decide to fix it.
When Ash, Brock and Misty get back, they are greeted by the Pokemon and Pikachu, who is lighting up the tree with his cheeks. Everyone then happily wishes each other a Merry Christmas.
Ice Games
On their way home, Ash and the others stop at a Pokemon Center in the mountains. During the night, it start to snow out. The Pokemon wake up first, see the snow and rush outside to play. Pikachu and Togepi look for the other Pokemon's footprints, but find footprints that are much bigger than anyone else's. They find themselves facing a giant Kangaskhan!
The Kangaskhan takes her baby out of her pouch to play. The baby Kangaskhan is shy at first, but when it sees Pikachu and Squirtle in a snowball fight, it decides to play. As the others have a snowball fight, the baby Kangaskhan and Togepi find an abandoned sled and ride off on it. Pikachu hops on board and is along for the ride. Bulbasaur sees them sled by, and joins in by jumping on Squirtle and sledding on his shell. The other Pokemon also join in by hopping on Onix.
They all sled down the mountinan, but they somehow all end up on Onix, who is sliding out of control towards a freezing lake! They all call out for help, and mama Kangaskhan comes to the rescue, stopping Onix before he reaches the lake. They all play quietly for the rest of the day, much to the delight of the mama Kangaskhan. As the sun sets at the end of the day, they say goodbye as mama and baby return home, and the Pokemon go back to their trainers.
