Professor Oak

Information: Professor Oak is the world's number one Pokemon researcher. Lots of people everywhere admire him and would give anything to meet him (Tracey). Oak is the grandfather of Ash's rival, Gary, but he treats Ash just as nice and respectful. If you ever wondered who created the Pokedex, it was none other than Samuel Oak. Later he even updated the Pokedex by adding 100 new Pokemon to it.

He spends his day taking care of the Pokemon at the lab (including Ash and Gary's) and making as many observations as possible. Even though Oak is a professor, he isn't crazy or stuck up and is rather goofy. Right now, Oak is still in his lab taking care of the Pokemon and waiting for the information on the GS Ball.
