Code Redemption Interruption

A maintenance period is approaching. During this time, codes you received via promotions will not be redeemable in your Pokémon X or Pokémon Y game. This maintenance period will occur sometime in November.

Pokémon Orchestral Concert Tour Announced!

Enjoy a night at the symphony with Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions, a live orchestral concert going on tour this year. Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions will showcase memorable music from throughout the world of Pokémon, featuring all-new musical arrangements that will entertain not just Pokémon fans but all music lovers. Look forward to a wonderful symphonic experience that covers nearly 20 years of Pokémon entertainment around the world.

Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions will premiere in Washington, DC, on Friday, August 15, 2014. The 2014 Pokémon World Championships will also be held in the nation’s capital that weekend, August 16–17.

Due to popular demand, an extra show has been added in Washington, DC, on Saturday, August 16.

From August 13 to September 17, you can get Heracross for your Pokémon X game or Pinsir for your Pokémon Ygame. These Lv. 50 Pokémon are ready for battle with a variety of powerful moves. Heracross and Pinsir don’t come with any held items. But starting August 18 and while supplies last, you can head to participating GameStop stores to get Mega Stones for the Pokémon to hold! When these Pokémon are holding the right Mega Stone, they will be able to Mega Evolve during battle, making them more powerful than ever before. Look for a flyer at GameStop that contains a serial code. When you enter the code into your game, you’ll receive the matching Mega Stone: Heracronite in Pokémon X or Pinsirite in Pokémon Y.

While at GameStop, you’ll be able to preorder your copy ofPokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and receive a special preorder bonus poster (while supplies last)!

Heracross and Pinsir Distribution Instructions

You can receive Heracross or Pinsir via the Internet directly into your game. Follow these steps to receive the Pokémon!

  1. Connect your system in the Nintendo 3DS family to the Internet.
  2. Select MYSTERY GIFT on the main menu.
  3. Select RECEIVE GIFT, then YES.
  4. Select GET VIA INTERNET, then YES.
  5. Watch as you receive Heracross (Pokémon X) or Pinsir (Pokémon Y)!
  6. Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokémon Center to add Heracross or Pinsir to your party.
  7. Be sure to save your game!

Sign Up for the Battle of Legends Online Competition!

Battle with the team of your dreams in the new Battle of Legends Online Competition! In this latest tournament, every available Pokémon is eligible to battle from Kanto to Kalos, even Legendary and Mythical Pokémon!

The Battle of Legends Online Competition tournament will feature Double Battles, and every known Pokémon except Diancie is allowed on your team. However, you may have a combined maximum of two Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in your Battle Box. All of the Pokémon in your party will be set to Level 50 for the duration of the battle, including Pokémon above and below Level 50.

Registration is open until Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 23:59 UTC. Space is limited, so don’t wait! To compete, you’ll need a Pokémon Trainer Club account and your own copy of the Pokémon X or Pokémon Y video game with a party of eligible Pokémon. And you’ll need to read and accept the regulations on the Pokémon Global Link before the battle period begins.

The competition goes from Friday, July 25, 2014, at 00:00 UTC until Sunday, July 27, 2014, at 23:59 UTC. Trainers will be limited in the number of battles they can compete in per day. Consult the tournament regulations for details. Play hard and try to reach the top of the leaderboards, which will be posted after the competition ends.
